With the world turning dark, a new villain stepping out of the shadows, these two kids are about to learn leaning on another person was the key to getting through life sometimes.

Look. I know "sibling plots are cliche" but think about it, okay? First, this was made by the incredible and genius tinkertaydust so nothing is ever basic cliche. Second. Imagine being the younger sister to the goddess that is Liz Allan while in high school, the angst is so real. (I mean, I get " the sibling feel so inadequate" thing is always shown in terms of sibling fics, but like...hear me out) Also, I'm giving her a sort-of friend...this is going to deal with some heavy toxic relationship stuff, so...get ready (I had their names be similar to like water because brook and river...I'm funny, okay?)
Also! Ned Leeds deserves more love because he was such an amazing character (I love my Filipino-Hawaiian son, okay) and so I'm just so excited to write about him loving someone and finding love himself, okay? Okay.
Also...this is not a direct spin-off of Lonely Hearts, however Diana will make small cameos because there is a scene in Lonely Hearts where Adrian says a thing and if you think about it...it goes a lot deeper when tied in with this story, so just...yeah. But Diana and Peter both will barely be in this because this is focusing on Brooke and Ned, but if you see a blonde gal looking sad well...it's her.
【 This takes place in my Hero of Heroes series and while you don't need to have read the other fics in the series to understand what is going on, you can if you so wish as characters from this fic may appear in others and vice versa 】
