chapter 35: final revenge.

Hindi ko alam kung pano ako napapayag ng ate ko pumunta dito sa dating game na to. I have a meeting with the Young's corporation with in two days and I have to prepare but then here I am. buti na lang at may mask ang mga tao dito. I don't have to risk my integrity because I goined this lame game.
Its already 8 in the evening. and 20 minutes left before the event start nag sign up na ako Ian ang name ko nagyon. and I didn't bother writing my surname, I don't want someone to take advantage of me because of I being one of the prominent bachelors in the country. I wore my white mask as I enter the club.

"OK participants, welcome to the first ever Dating Cupid in this club " masiglang intro ng host. pinagmamasdan ko ang mga tao yung iba kasi nagcostume pa ng anghel.
"OK participants please go to your respected seats. " agad naman akong umupo kung san ako na assign.
"please get the strings placed in your table. those na nakakuha ng black ang lilipat ng table while those lucky ones na nakakuha ng white will remain sitting down. the rotation would be in clockwise direction. every 10 mins ang rotation. if ang table na napuntahan mo ay ka same gender mo, find a table na vaccant. OK are you all ready to find your destiny?" so I'm lucky to just sit down. great it save me from tiresome sh*t.
"YESSSSSS!" sabi naman ng mga participants . Hindi na ako nagabala pang sumagot ininom ko na lang ang brandy na aking hawak.
"he-hello?" hiyang sabi ng unang babaeng na umupo sa table ko.
"um." tumango lang ako. wala naman akong interest dito.
"ahh. a-ako Pala si Fi-Fiona."
"k" walang Gana kong sabi.
"ummm... ikaw?" Hindi ko na siya sinagot tinuro ko lang sa aking name tag.
"ahh. Ian." pshh she's boring
"switch" wow naubos ang 10 mins ko dun?
after 40 mins na halos ganun ang nagyari. umalis na ako agad ng club.
habang ako'y pababa ng club ay biglang akong nakabanga
"aray!" aniya nito. I guess kasali siya sa dating program na to cuz she's wearing an angel costume.
"so-sorry miss" pagpapaumanhin ko habang tinutulungan ko siyang tumayo.
"arghhh!"
"are you alright?" d*mn what a stupid question! obviously she's not.
"i-i sprained my ankle!" she shouted as she raised her head. I was left dumbfounded after seeing an angel looking at me.
"ahhhhh!" she shouted in pain. and with that bumalik ako sa katinuan.
"let me help you" with that kinarga ko siya in a bridal style palabas ng club. at pinaupo ko siya sa bench katapat ng puno na malapit sa aking sasakyan.
"stay here, I'll get my first aid kit." tumango na lang ito. agad ko namang kinuha ang first aid kit at binalikan ko siya.
I placed an ointment tapos nilagayan ko ito ng bandage. I always bring first aid kit in case kung may manyari sa akin after ng judo class ko. yes, kumuha ako ng ganung class upang Hindi na maulit ang nakaraan.
"hey! hey!" aniya nito, sabay snap ng kanyang fingers.
"um"
"you were spacing out. "
" yeah sorry about that. you were saying?"
"what's your name you look familiar."
"how could you say that when you can't see my face" I teased
"No, your voice. its like I heard it somewhere."

"witwiw" napalingon naman ako agad. I saw 7 low profiled gangsters. there's two types of gangsters one is those professional which is like Mayumi's. the other one is yung mga ganito, yung basag ulo lang ang alam, kung baga jejemon lang ang peg aka pa cool. [ a//n: according po ito sa my wife is a gangster xD ]
"chix, pare oh, ganda ng legs. witwiw" sabi nung isa sa parang leader ata nila.
"mga pare wala naman sanang bastusan. pwede?" sabi ko sa mga kumag na to. habang tinago ko sa likuran ko yung babae.
"pakialam namin! kilala mo ba kami? ha!" sabi naman nung nasa left nung nagsalita kanina.
"pakialam ko ba sa inyo. para kilananin " sagot ko naman.
"aba't matapang ka!" aniya nito habang yung mga kasamahan nito ay nilabas ang mga padel Nila at mga bakal na pamalo.
hinubad ko ang coat ko, at binuksan ko ang dalawang buttones ng aking polo at niluwagan ko ang aking necktie. I put myself in the defence position. agad din naman nila akong pinalibutan. unang humapas ang leader Nila na nasa harap ko agad ko naman itong inilagan at hinablot ang padel ng lalaking nasa kanan niya. siniko ko ang kanyang jaw para mahilo siya at tuluyang maagaw ang padel niya. sinabayan ko na rin ng pagsipa sa lider na agad naman nasubsub sa sahig. inilagan ko nanaman ang paghampas ng bakal sa akin sabay sipa na tumama bakal kaya ito tumilapon sa isa pang lalaki na nasa harap. agad naman ako buwelo Ibaba ang paa Kong Galing sa pag sipa kaya yung lalaking nasa likod ko ay natamaan sa kanyang jaw kaya ito natumba. 4 down 3 to go. pumwesto ulit ako into defense position.
ng bigla may nagdatingan na mga bodyguard. at agad pinagaaresto ang mga kumag na gangsters.
"young lady" Aniya ng isang bodyguard habang papunta ito sa babaeng anghel. "are you alright?"
"yes, I am thanks Gorge, please don't tell this ever happened to my parents" she said calmly.
"yes, milady" sabi nito sabay bow. tinulungan naman nitong ibang guards yung babaeng anghel na tumayo. habang yung George ata ay naglakad papunta sa akin.
"thank you for helping our young lady" aniya nito sabay bow.
"walang anu man." sagot ko.
"please tell us if you need anything"
"No, don't I didn't do those things for a reward in return" I smiled "till we meet again next time" I smiled as I head to my car.
"thanks Ian" she smiled as she entered their car as well. I smiled. in return as I enter my car.
>>after two days<<
I am on my way to Mr & Ms Young's beach resort in Subic. its already 8 in the morning I have to face them 3 in the afternoon. I still got time para magpahinga and maghada as well.
after 15 minutes nakapagcheck in na rin ako. I prepared all the things needed in the presentation and my clothes as well. I went to the balcony para magpahangin and makapagrelax ng konti, at para ma lessen na rin ang kaba ko para mamaya.
ang ganda talaga ng tanawin dito. white sand beach, cool breeze and mesmerizing coconut trees to put everything on top. its a beach resort but its currently close because Mr. & Mrs. Young will come. kaya peaceful na peaceful ngayon.

Parang nag so-slow mo ang aking paligid, I think I saw an angel passing by. She's currently sitting on the sand near the coconut tree on my right. I didn't saw her face kanina when she was walking because of her overly huge hat, but when she removed it, I could only see her back. she's wearing a white loose blouse paired with her shorts and flip flops. simple but it made her look stunning. I guess she's looking seriously in the beach. I got my phone in my pocket and went at the edge of the balcony, I positioned myself where in I could slightly see her beautiful face, angled my phone and *click*
I looked at my phone and I was left surprised after seeing the photo, I immediately looked at the girl and I saw her smiling sweetly to me.... I can't help but smile back.
I hope that this girl infront of me is real. she waved her hand and ran away.

i immidately jumped at the balcony.... I won't lose her again...

as I opened my eyes I felt the tears in my cheeks. it was just a dream... I'm still in the balcony, laying down on the lazy boy couch. I took my phone out from my pocket to check the time.
its already 2 in the afternoon, I have to prepare for the presentation. I stood up and cleared my mind, I went to comfort room and replenished myself. I must be focuse, stay focused.

I went to the Young's penthouse, the meeting will be held there. The doors were opened by their head buttler.
"Good day sir, come this way" he said after bowing. I just smiled and followed him. the house is so facinating and relaxing.
"this house was made, because it was meant for their daughter, their only daughter..." he paused.
"I saw their daughter once but she was wearing a mask... what do you mean by meant?" I asked curiously.
"as you can see sir, the ambiance expressed by this house is relaxing, its bound to make you feel a pinch of happiness and you'll tend to forget sadness." he's right, I really forgot all the nervousness I was feeling. "it was their daughter's wish, for them to remain happy and relaxed, becuse she can no longer do that to them."
"why?" I curiously asked. could their daughter be in comma, may sakit or worst, their daughter could have passed away
"I believe I no longer have the right to answer that.... come in, they're waiting inside." he smiled as he opened the door.
I'm amazed of what I'm seeing right now, ang ganda ng library ng mga Young, I left mesmerized by the beauty of the place. Nag space out ako panandalian pero bumalik na rin ako sa katinuan ng narinig ko si Mr. Young na nagsalita.
"I'm gland to finally meet you Mr. Lee" He seriosly said. he's on his early fifties I guess. he's good looking for his age, pwede nga siguro siyang mapagkamalang nasa 30's pa lang. but i can sense his agony despite his serious face.
"I'm honored to be hear Mr. Young" I said modestly as I reached for his hand.
"you may sit Mr. Lee" he said after we shaked our hands.
"thank you sir." I said as I sat down in the right chair infront of his desk. I saw a picture frame in the left part of his desk. I think he knew that I was staring at it.
"that's my family Mr. Lee" he said as he got the frame. "want to take a closer look?"
"If I may" I said shyly. he just smiled and handed me the picture frame.

nanlaki ang aking mga mata, I could not believe what I'm seeing right now.......
"that's my daughter, and I assumed you know her"
"yes Sir, kilala ko po si Mayumi"

" And do you accept. that she's gone?" he asked. that question has been asked to me a million times by the people around me. But after hearing her Father ask that, it feels like I was stabbed in the heart, Its like he's confirming that she's really gone. each day I hoped that she isn't but now it feels like all those hope vanished.
" to be honest...... I still don't" I smiled as I looked at her father's eyes.
She might be gone, but she haven't fled in my heart....
