Next Day.
I let out another yawn as I grabbed my bag from my chair. I came late last night then I expected.
I gotta act like I've had an amazing sleep and I'm fine. That is going to be so hard if I'm yawning every single fucking minute.
I opened my bedroom door and walked downstairs. I heard talking by the living room door. I stood by the door my ear pressed against I found a the portable ladder outside."Carter spoke. Fuck." Didn't even know we owned one."
"One of the neighbours might dropped into the yard by accident?"Doug suggested.
"That was in the shed the other day."Aiden said "It was by my tool rack."
"Well we don't actually need it do we?"Bryce asked. "We don't need anymore siblings breaking legs or arms."
I opened the door and walked in. All four of my brothers looked at me.
"Feeling better?"Aiden asked sincerely. "You don't have to go to school if you don't feel too good."
"I'm okay."I replied "Thanks though."
"Was it your burns hurting last night?"Doug asked as he gave me warm smile.
"It's fine Doug. Thanks for asking though."
"Well Brekkie is inside."Carter said "Eat if you can."
"Eat and take a aspirin."Bryce added.
I nodded. I walked into the kitchen to see Finn spoon feeding Heath and he wasn't opening his mouth at all.
Finn had the spoon filled with fuirt loops. "Here comes the train choo choo. It wants to enter the tunnel."
I bursted out in laughter. Finn looked like a Mother trying to feed its kid.
"I can feed my-"He got cut off by Finn entering the spoon in the tunnel. Heath let out a cough and all the fuirt loops with milk was spat on Finn's tshirt.
Finn looked at his tshirt. "Oh fuck! I have to change now."
Finn got up and left the kitchen. I got a bowl and filled it with cereal and milk. I sat by Heath.
Evan walked in he looked at me "Feeling better?"
I nodded. "Yes."
Heath looked at me confused. "What was wrong?"
"I was ill last night I'm fine now."
Heath nodded. I saw a plate of meatloaf,mash and carrots with cling flim wrapped around it. Shot. They left food for me last night now they are going to know i wasn't I'll.
Grayson walked in he looked at the plate he turned to us.
Evan took a sip of his coffee. "You didn't eat your food last night?"Grayson asked as he looked at me.
Evan looked at me weirdly. "I-I didn't want to."I quickly replied.
"Did you even have your medicine last night?"Evan asked.
Oh fuck! I'm in fucking trouble before I could answer all my brothers were in the kitchen.
"She didn't have her meds last night nor her food."Grayson said as he folded his arms against his chest.
"What? You know food and your meds are important for your health."Aiden said sternly.
"I kn-"
Bryce cut me off. "You know that your meds need to be taken. If you don't have it at that time then serious things could happen. Or have happened in this case."
"How could of you forgotten?"Carter said with a sigh. "You know how important they are."
"Ivy. You might of done some serious damage to yourself."Douglas added.
"Look I do have a life."I snapped at them. "I've forgotten maybe I actually wanted to go sleep okay! Maybe have some sort of sleep let my dreams drift on. I was ill. "
"Even still they have to be taken. You can't forget them."Finn said.
"It was a mistake guys."Evan defended me "Leave it. She'll get late to school."
"She can't go."Aiden said with a sigh "She has to go to the doctors to see if there is any sign of infections."
"I understand what you guys are on but she can't miss school. What about her SATS?"Heath said.
"You promise me on that day Aiden."My eyes brimmed with tears "That my burns will not hold me back from what I want to do. And I will be able to live my life. That it wouldn't dictate me in life."
"You are. I just don't want to see you in that hospital again hooked up to all those machines again."Aiden said.
"Look it's better to catch it now other than later."Bryce said.
"This does not feel like I'm living my life."
Carter let out a sigh. "The quicker we do this the quicker it'll be over with."
"Can I at least just go to my English lesson?"I asked as I bit my lip. "I just need to grab my project sheet then I'll go."
"Fine."Aiden said. "I'll take the morning off we'll go now."
"I'm off to the hospital for my training as well."Bryce said "I could be the one to stick the needles in you if you want."
"How's that supposed to make her feel any less scared?"Evan rolled his eyes at Bryce.
I turned to Evan. "Come with me please?"
"Sure? "
I nodded "You can sing me Heaven."
Evan let out a groan. "Fine."

Evan, Bryce and Aiden were in the car waiting for me. I just got my project sheet.
I walked to my locker and did my combation. I opened my locker door to see a paper heart but folded.
I picked it up and opened it.
Heyyyy..... Had fun last night I hope you did too. Second date? Tomorrow at 7? I'll wait in the same place

I smiled. I pulled out my Spanish book and hid the note in there. I closed my locker door to see Zoey there.
She looked at me "Ready for Maths?"
"Hospital more like it."
"Why?"
"Did something stupid and I have to get it check out. See ya tomorrow."
She let out a sigh and nodded "Get better then."
I left the school building I walked into the car park and saw Aiden's car only to see Cole, Finn and Grayson stood by it talking to Aiden,Evan and Bryce.
I tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear and walked to the car.
Cole looked up and stopped in mid-senstance when he saw me. "Hey Ivy."
"Hi."I said with a smile on my face.
Finn put his arm around Cole's shoulder. "Good luck sissy."
I rolled my eyes at him. "Thank you. It'll be nothing."
I walked to the car door and opened the door. I sat at the backseat with Evan. I closed the door and Aiden drove off.
