Alexander's POV***
The smell of dead fish clung to the streets like cobwebs to corners of a room. I cover my mouth with a handkerchief as I hastened toward the doorway of Frances Jennings.
I managed to slip inside his residence without notice, at least no one of importance.
"To what do I owe the pleasure, Mr. Horne?" Frances mocked, without looking up from his desk in his office.
"How did you know it was me?" I asked.
Frances smirked. "You shuffle you feet slightly when you walk." He muttered, "And the maid told me she saw you walking toward the house."
I felt my neck heating up from anger.
"You still haven't answered my question?" Frances prompted.
My fingers grazed the globe on his desk, my hand stopped on the North America. I smiled. "I need a favor, and you are the only one I could think of that could actually succeed at it."
Frances' eyes glittered with excitement. "Do tell?"
He always did love a challenge, I mused.
I grinned . "There is a girl I need out of the way...."

Lauren's POV
Despite going to bed early, I didn't get a wink of sleep. My stomach was in knots over this whole ordeal. i had finally been given a moment alone and all I did was worry over things I couldn't change or foresee.Which is typical of me, I suppose.
The sun was already up, so I knew it was morning already.
I sighed, time to get up and face the Bertram the quiz master.
"Good morning, Miss Benjamin." He looked too chipper and perky for my liking. My bloodshot eyes roved over his newest ensemble, grey pants with a wife beater and striped button up. To top it off he wore striped sock with a pair of red Nikes. Who dresses this man, Liberace and Emily the Strange?
