Betty's POV:
I woke up and instantly felt horrible.
Not just because school is living hell...
But I felt like actual crap.
I had a really bad headache and I was feeling all nauseous.
I walked downstairs and my mom looked at me. "Why aren't you dressed for school Elizabeth?"
"I feel really sick today."
She looked at me and felt my forehead. "You weren't lying. You can stay home today."
"Thank you." I told her.
"Go back into bed. I'll make you some tea."
"Thanks mom."
She nodded as I went back upstairs and got into bed.
Only to get back up again...
I ran into the bathroom and threw up.
I haven't even eaten yet...but something came up.
What the hell was going on?!
Veronica's POV:
I went to Betty's so we could walk to school together.
As I got out of the car, I walked up to the Cooper's house.
I rang the doorbell and her mom was in sight.
"Hello Veronica." She said while giving me a smile.
"Good Morning Mrs. Cooper. Is Betty home?"
"Yeah. But she's sick so she won't be able to go to school today."
"Oh I'm sorry. Tell her I said I hope she feels better." I said and gave her a smile.
"Will do. Thanks for stopping by." She said and I nodded.
I walked back and saw Betty through her window laying in her bed.
I got out my phone and texted her.
V- hey r u ok?
I looked up and saw her grab for something, assuming it's her phone.
A few seconds later, I got a text back from her.
B- me throwing up and having a horrible headache? So much fun V!
I giggled a bit before sending her back a reply.
V- look out ur window.
I saw her come towards her window and she laughed before opening it.
I saw her hurriedly go back after a minute.
V- y u leave??
I saw her come back 5 minutes later.
B- I threw up...
V- hope u feel better
B- thx. Not to be a mom or anythin but u should head to school.
V- I will. See ya L8R B!
I turned my phone off and walked away towards school.
I hope she's okay.
Jughead's POV:
As I walked into school, I saw the halls full of people.
Regular popular girls gossiping about who knows what.
The jocks who pass by and may or may not shoved me into a locker once or twice a day.
But there's some people who are actually pretty nice.
I mean, Archie and I were best friends but now we're just...
Friends.
Veronica and I?
Friends.
Kevin and I?
I can't even start to describe that kid...
Betty and I?
Betty. I love her.
I loved her when I first laid eyes on her.
There was something about her that always drew my attention and whenever she walks by or talks to me she makes my heart beat faster.
If you didn't know, Betty and I are together.
She always come up to my locker everyday and we would always talk...but today was different.
I went to my locker and grabbed my books for my first class and she didn't show up.
I wondered where she was.
I saw Veronica at her locker talking to Archie.
Archie walked away a few seconds later and I went up to her. "Have you seen Betty?"
"Awww Romeo worried about Juliet?"
"Just answer my question Veronica." I said while rolling my eyes.
"She's sick Prince Charming."
"How do you know?"
"I stopped by her house so we could walk to school but she's sick...like throwing up sick...it's bad."
"I hope she's okay." I said.
"She will be...unless she's been doing something behind your back."
"She wouldn't-"
"You never know with Betty. Unless....u guys went there!"
I stayed silent.
"I knew I-"
I put my hand over her mouth. "There's a thing called silent celebration for a reason."
She rolled her eyes as she pushed my hand off her mouth.
Her smile turned into a shocked face. "Jughead..."
"What?" I ask.
Her eyes went wide. "Oh no!"
"What V?!"
"I-I-I'll tell you later. I need to text Betty asap!"
"Veron-"
She walked away before I could finish.
I sighed. "What the fuck is going on?!"
Betty's POV:
I stayed in bed while I was on my phone.
A message from V popped up:
V- BETTY!!!
B- VERONICA!!!
V- IM SERIOUS!! GO TO THE STORE RN!!
B- TF V! Y?!!
V- GO BUY A PREGNANCY TEST!!
B- ...ok
I followed her orders and went outside.
"What do you think your doing?" My mom asked.
"I need to go pick my medicine up from the store." I lied.
"Okay. Be careful." She said and I nodded before walking out.
I drove to the store and bought a test and came back.
I went into my bathroom and peed on the stick.
I waited for my results to come out so I went on my phone for a bit.
I took a deep breathe before going into the bathroom and checking it.
You're not pregnant Betty.
You're not pregnant!!!
I went into the bathroom and picked it up.
I opened my eyes and looked at the results.
Oh my gosh...
"I'm-"
I heard my phone ring.
I picked it up and it was Jughead.
"Hey Jug." I answered.
"Hey Betts. V told me what happened. Are you okay?"
No. I'm not.
"Yeah! Why wouldn't I be?"
"Throwing up is a good thing Betty?"
"...it's not the best thing ever, but at least I don't have the flu or anything right?"
"Right."
"I'm okay Jug." I said reassuring him.
"I'm skipping..."
"Juggie no!"
"I need to make sure you're okay."
A smile came across my face.
He cares about me that much?
"Yes I do." He said.
"Was I thinking out loud?"
"Yeah." He said and I heard him laugh which made me as well.
"Okay. I'll see you in a bit."
"Okay. Love you!"
"Love you too!" I said before hanging up.
I hid the pregnancy test in my drawer, hoping he wouldn't find it.
I took a little cat nap since I was really tired.
I got woken up by a pair of lips on mine.
I giggled and opened up my eyes. "Now you're sick."
No he's not. Last time I recall, guys can't get pregnant...or can they?
"I don't care." He replied and kissed me again.
I kissed back more passionately and then his hand went up my thigh.
I smiled a bit while our lips were still connected.
His hands went up my shirt and his lips went to my neck, making me let out a moan.
I then snapped back into reality, almost forgetting my parents are still home.
"Jug." I muttered out while trying not to moan.
"Yeah?" He asked me stopping.
"My parents are home I don't want them to catch us." I replied and he laughed.
"So..." he said and was about to continue.
"So we'll continue later when my parents aren't home." I said and he sighed.
"Fine."
I laughed and then stopped laughing when my mind came across the pregnancy test.
Even if I did tell him, how would he react?
"Juggie?" I asked.
"Yeah Betts?" He asked while putting his arms around me, resulting in us cuddling.
I giggled.
This one thing could ruin everything we have...
Or make it better....
But it was a risk I had to take.
"Do you ever see us in the future together?"
"Yeah. I think about it all the time."
So far, so good.
"Do you ever think of us having kids?"
He laughed. "Yeah, I always imagined us having two little kids running around the house, us being a happy family."
I smiled. "What if I told you you weren't gonna get sick even though you kissed me?"
"I'd say you're crazy because there's a thing called germs in this world."
I laughed. "Okay...but what if I told you that not only us two are in this room?"
He looked at me. "Where are you getting at?"
I turned around and looked at him face to face.
I took his face into my hands and pulled him into a kiss. "Promise you won't leave me when I tell you this?"
"I would never leave you Juliet." He said while looking into my eyes.
I took a breath. "Okay."
I went into the bathroom and got the test and put it behind my back.
I came back out and he looked at me with a very curious face.
"Betts, what's going on?"
I felt tears forming in my eyes. "I-I'm pregnant."
I admitted and pulled the positive test out from behind my back.
There was silence in the room.
The tears started to fall out of my eyes. "I understand if you wanna leave."
I walked up to him, his eyes still looking into mine, as I passed the pregnancy test to him.
He looked down at it and then looked back up at me.
"Aren't you gonna say something?" I asked and let out a nervous laugh.
I looked down at my shoes as I waited for something to come out of his mouth.
"Betty..."
I looked back up into his eyes, him staring into mine.
He pulled me into a kiss and I kissed back.
He then pulled me into a hug while I was crying into his shoulder.
He rubbed my back and kept telling me it's okay and ssh so I could stop crying.
I got out of his embrace and then he wiped away my tears. "I would never leave you Juliet."
"I thought you would..."
"I wouldn't. I love you too much to ever do that and..."
He held my hand. "We can start a family like we both always wanted."
I smiled at him.
I placed my lips on his. "I love Jughead."
"I love you too Betty."
