Sakura's POV
I watched as the Uchiha's face changed to a confused look, processing my question. "What do you mean?" He asked, sounding slightly offended. I laughed a little, trying to make my rudeness not sound so offensive.
"Well you've never talked to me before, we've gone to the same schools since... I don't even know when," I thought back to me admiring the raven-haired boy from a distance. I'd always had a crush on him, I wouldn't say I was in love with him, we never got to know each other.
"Really?" He said awfully loud, students turning away from their conversations or doing their work. I mouthed sorry to a few, but Sasuke seemed to careless. He was a lot like Naruto...
"Yeah," I nodded, trying not make eye contact. "It would make sense you wouldn't notice me, I'm not that noticeable." I smiled, turning to see his face scrunched up in a frown. "What?" I said, my smile fading. Way to go Sakura, fucking things up with a cute boy already.
"You shouldn't talk about yourself like that, I think you're very noticeable, I just was too blind to see an amazing person right in front of me," I could feel the same burning sensation in my cheeks again. A smile tugged at my lips, even though he still gave me the same annoyed frown.
"That's really sweet," I responded, his face slightly lightening up. I noticed the redheaded girl behind him, giving me the stank eye. I rolled my eyes, turning around swiftly. "You have a girlfriend?" I angrily added, my face scrunching up like his. I pouted, ignoring the Uchiha. He then began to laugh like an insane person, making me jump.
"K-Karin?" He gasped, "My g-girlfriend?" A few kids glanced at us again, as he gasped for air from his laughing. "I don't h-have a girlfriend," He added, trying to calm his laughs. I felt a ping of relief and excitement in my stomach, as I turned to look at the redfaced male. "Even if I did, it defiantly wouldn't be anyone like Karin," he sighed, cringing at the thought of the redhead. I muttered a giggle, as he slightly smirked. He put his hands behind his head, watching me with squinted eyes.
"What?" I asked, my blush reappearing on my cheeks. He leaned forward, poking my cheek with his long finger.
"You blush a lot," He said, before giving me a soft smile. I could feel my cheeks burn brighter before I poked his cheek back.
"Well, maybe you need to blush more," He rolled his eyes, moving back to his previous position.
My phone buzzed again in my purse, making me remember it had went off later and I never checked it. I pulled it out, dreading to see who was texting me.
2 new messages!
My phone brightly exclaimed on the small screen. I opened my inbox, seeing a text from an unknown.. And Sai... I paused, before opening the text.
Sai: Hey
"Who is Sai?" I jumped, shutting my phone with a swift move. I hadn't noticed the raven-haired boy leaning over my shoulder, reading what I was also reading. I glared at him, pushing him back into his seat. He rubbed his chest, giving me a pained look. "Ow, don't have to be so rough."
I rolled my eyes, returning back to my cell phone, "Don't read my texts, Baka," I reopened my phone, repeating the process of going to the inbox.
Unknown: Leave my Sasuke-kun alone!
I sighed, quickly glancing around the stuffed classroom. No one was looking at us anymore, not even Karin. It must have been her texting me right? Sasuke sighed, staring at me.
"What?" I said glancing at his bored expression.
"The bell is about to ring," he stated, making me roll my eyes. Yeah, sure, that's a good reason to stare at someone. "Who do have next hour?" He asked, immediately changing the subject.
I paused, my brain pulling up my schedule. "Umm... I have gym with Gai-Sensei," he cringed, then gave me a sympathetic look. "What? I like his classes... I mean the working out part, not the youthfulness part." He raised his eyebrow, giving me a weird look. "What?"
"How could you like Gai's classes? He makes you run like thirty laps just as a warm up," I shrugged my shoulders, feeling slightly insecure. I liked running, what was so bad about that? Isn't that was being an athletes all about?
The bell rang, the whole class rushing to escape the room. I packed my things, still slightly ticked Naruto had made me lose my math assignment. Now I have to redo the whole thing. "You're slow, Sa-ku-ra," the raven haired boy snickered, sounding out my name's syllables with a hiss. I rolled my eyes, walking towards the door, him trailing behind me.
"See you later then, Sasgay," I teased, as we walked our separate ways. What a weird day, being talked to by an Uchiha of all people. Who would think anyone would pay attention to me? Let alone practically the hottest guy in school? Well, I better stop boosting, he probably wants me to do his homework or something...

Sasuke's POV
"Teme," the bright blonde pouted, his body leaning over my desk from my left.
"Go throw a football or something, Naruto," I sighed, wishing the idiot football player would leave me be.
"I heard you were hitting up with my Sakura-chan."
"So she is yours? I don't recall seeing your name written anywhere on her." He grunted, moving to the seat in front of me. I looked at him, my face annoyed. His muscular body was tense, his teeth grinding loudly.
"I want you to leave her alone, Uchiha. Sakura is a good girl, and I don't know if you noticed, but you're bad news," he spat, his face becoming red with anger. I smirked, turning to look at the grey haired teacher sitting at his wooden desk. He was suppose to be teaching us English, but told us to do whatever because he wanted to read his damn porno book. But maybe from reading so much porn is what made him good at English? Eh, who knows. Not like we were going to find out if he just kept reading it.
Naruto pushed on my chest, trying to regain my attention again. "Naruto, why don't you just leave me alone? Sakura probably doesn't care for either of us, anyways, I just wanted to get to know her as a friend. I just thought she... looked interesting," My gaze went back to the scruffy blonde, his face still full of anger. I was't just going to spill my plans out to him. I wanted to see why she was so upset the other day, it's not bad to be curious.
"You know that can't ever be true, you're fucking Sasuke Uchiha. Every girl in this whole flipping school practically likes you, even if you just want to be friends or not. Sakura just got dumped. She dated that douche bag Sai for a really long time, and he just played with her. You're pretty much the same case." I rolled my eyes, I was starting to get really irritated. Was I really that bad?
"And you would know, Naruto? You don't know shit, Sakura isn't anything more then a friend to you! She probably isn't even your friend! Stop getting jealous over nothing!" My voice started to rise, my body shifting towards the still angry Naruto.
"She's a friend in my eyes! I don't want her to get hurt!" Our faces were right next to each other, our glares trying to out beat each other. I felt a hand on top of my head, pulling me away from the blonde. I noticed Naruto was in the same situation.
"I'm trying to read, and you two won't be quiet. Do I have to move you two?" I looked at the man standing beside me. He had a black mask that covered most of his face, different rumors had always gone around that he was terribly deformed, or he was an alien and such. I just always thought he had really bad breath.
"He started it!" Naruto yelled, pointing at me. I glared at him, Kakashi rubbing his face.
"You're in high school and you try to pull that shit, Uzumaki?" I shout back, as he began to grind his teeth again.
"Watch you mouth," the grey headed man grunted, smacking both of us behind our heads. "Must I bring Lady Tsunade into this?" I rolled my eyes, noticing I had a nasty habit of doing so.
"Granny can't do shit!" Naruto yelled, receiving another smack upside the head. I began to chuckle, which ultimately ended in me getting a smack, too.
"Detention, after school," the masked man mumbled, walking back to his desk. My glare hadn't left Naruto, his not leaving me either.
"Well just great!" I whisper yelled at him, as he smirked a little at me.
"Serves you right Duck Butt!" He mumbled, folding his arms in victory, a smug smile covering his face.
"I hope you know you have detention, too." He shrugged, rotating around in his seat. I sighed, I hated detention but I knew Itachi would nag me if I skipped, probably grounding me from something. I began to pack my things, Naruto and me arguing had actually taken the whole hour, surprisingly. What a waste of time. Why was I letting this idiot get to me anyways?

Sakura's POV
The class erupted, lunch hour finally released. I sighed with relief, blowing my bangs out of my face with my mouth. School was so stressful. I packed my things, the class emptying far ahead of me.
"Sakura Haruno, please go to Tsunade's office. Sakura Haruno, please go to Tsunade's office," the intercom chanted, making me groan. I just wanted to get to my lunch, I was starving. I marched my way out of the class, Asuma-Sensei giving me a small wave on the way out. Kurenai-Sensei soon trailed into the room, shutting the door behind her. Gross.
The halls were already pretty much empty, a few people still at their lockers, some with friends. I sighed, turning a corner seeing a long haired boy arguing with TenTen. I sighed, knowing it was her on again, off again, boyfriend, Neji. I had never really got to know Neji, but I've known him just as long as Sasuke or Naruto, all I really know is what TenTen tells me. I let out an awkward cough, walking in between the two, feeling bad for them, mostly for TenTen. I've heard he is kind of a dick.
"O-oh sorry, Sakura," TenTen muttered, her cheeks red. She sounded embarrassed and it made me feel even worse. I gave a soft smile, nodding in her direction. I knew what it was like to argue with your boyfriend in public, Sai and me constantly were bickering about something. I felt a little ping of jealously, knowing now he would be bickering with someone else.
"Hey," I heard a familiar deep voice say from down the hall. I looked to see the owner of the voice, his face holding a soft smirk. I half waved in his direction, as I walked past him. "Wait," he called as I took a few steps in front of him. I heard shuffling, then he walked to my side, now his hands full of car keys and his backpack. "Wanna go somewhere to eat with me?" I blushed, an Uchiha asking me to eat somewhere to eat with him? I was about to say yes, before realizing I had to go meet Lady Tsunade.
Shit.
"U-uh," I spat, as he raised one of his perfect eyebrows. "I have to go meet Lady Tsunade, maybe if you wait a few minutes?" I sighed, feeling bad. Ugh, she would probably keep me in there forever. He nodded, then I began to speed walk towards the small office a few halls down.
--
"Sakura! You're late!" I rubbed my temples, looking at the large breasted woman, yelling at me from behind her desk.
"Yes, Tsunade-sama, my dearest apologies," I mumbled as she grunted.
"I won't be able to attend the tournament this Saturday, I have a meeting in the morning," Tsunade-Sama was my volleyball coach, yes, but she was also the Hokage- or principal of the school. To tell you the truth, she was such a lazy drunk, I don't know how in the hell she keeps her job. "I expect you to keep a close eye on the girls, but you are old of enough it won't be hard, right, captin?" I nodded, grabbing my books from the table beside me. "You are dismissed," she nodded, turning her chair to face the large window that hovered over the school campus.
"Thank you, Tsunade-sama," I mumbled, before slipping out the door. Our secretary gave me a small wave and a hello, making me almost drop my stuff trying to wave back. I rushed quickly out, trying to find Sasuke. I ran past a few halls, then spotted him still by his locker. I could see Karin gripping his shirt, as he pushed her away, a disgusted look covering his face.
I paused, trying to listen their conversation. The doors to the hall were hiding me, perfectly, just barely in earshot.
"Whose pinkie?" She begged, tears in her eyes.
"None of your business, Karin," he mumbled, trying to get her away from him.
"But I love you Sasuke-kun!" She shouted, as he was finally freed. He heaved a sigh, sliding on his sunglasses. He began to walk towards my hideout, as I panicked, sliding down the wall. I could hear his footsteps growing closer, when they stopped right next to the door.
I held my breath, my cheeks turning red. "Are you ready?" He asked, his voice annoyed. I could feel my cheeks flame up, as I waved awkwardly.
"U-Uh, I just need to run out to my locker," I said, trying not to act like he caught me in the act of eavesdropping.
"Hurry up, Haruno," he said, turning down the next hall, not bothering to wait for me. I picked up my books in a panicked scramble, running up next to his slim figure. "If you don't hurry up, we won't get back on time, ya know," he grumbled, sticking his hands in his pant pockets. Is he moody or is it just me?
"I-I know, I just have to p-put my stuff away," I glanced at him, his face not showing anything. I rushed to my locker, stuffing my things into it before slamming it shut. Sasuke was already walking out the back entrance, leading to the student parking zone. "W-wait!" I yelled, trying to chase after him without tripping and flashing my panties everywhere.
"Hn," he muttered when I caught up to him. My purse hung off my shoulder, bumping into my hip ever so often. He took his right hand out of his pocket, revealing his keys. He clicked a button, as a beep could be heard a few feet away.
"Where exactly are you taking me, Uchiha?" I questioned, following him to his red jaguar. I let out a little gasp at how attractive the car was, slightly jealous. I wish my family was rich, we are just middle class. Sasuke threw open his door, swiftly moving in, dumping his backpack in the seats behind him. I couldn't see much of the interior, because the windows were tinted.
I opened the red door, carefully, trying not to disrupt it's beauty. The inside was just as beautiful as the outside. Mostly everything was black, including the leather seats that appeared like they had never been sat on. I wondered if he had heated seats? I pushed the thought away, wondering why I would think something so silly.
"How could you afford this? I thought your brother was in college? Isn't tuition really expensive around here?" I immediately asked, as slid into the passenger seat, I could already feel my legs sticking to it's smooth fabric.
"My parents left a lot of money, and our company to us. One of our relatives runs it now, but we get most of the money." He quickly replied as if he got asked it millions of times, shifting the gears to pull out. I let out a sigh, still extremely jealous. Not like I even had my driver's license, so I guess it didn't matter.
"You never answered my question, earlier," I mumbled, as he sped out of the parking lot, dodging other student's cars. He ignored me, again, making me a little annoyed.
Why do I like him again?

Naruto's POV
I let out annoyed sigh, waiting for the light to turn green. Hinata sat awkwardly in my passenger seat, blushing like a mad woman. What was her deal? None of our other friends could come out with us to lunch, so I decided to just take her. I realized I never had just hung out with Hinata, usually someone would tag along. Maybe it was too hot in my car?
I switched on the air conditioning, hearing a familiar rawr of certain red car, running a red light beside me. I saw a flash of pink through his dark windows and I knew Sasuke was taking Sakura somewhere. Probably to rape her or something...
"Goddamn it, you perv Uchiha!" I shouted, making Hinata jump. I pulled out into the next lane, speeding behind him, making my little Hyundai go as fast as it could handle. Why was he so interested in Sakura all of a sudden? Ugh, he is such a prick. All he is going to do is hurt her, he is taking advantage of someone who is already hurting.
"N-Naruto-kun, what's wrong?" Hinata asked, as she gripped on to the passenger door. I gave her a glance, but my eyes shot back to the red car speeding towards the Uchiha's house.
"Sasuke won't leave Sakura alone," I simply stated, not really explaining anything to her. She let out a whimper as I pumped on the brakes, sending us on a lung forward. I was still a few houses down, and I don't think either noticed me speeding after them.
"Are w-we not going to get any food?" The raven haired girl asked, totally oblivious to the heartbreak I was pushing through right now. I loved Sakura, but she just keeps pushing me away. Now that Sasuke's involved, I have no chance with her.
I watched as the two got out of his car, Sakura sporting her best smile at something he said.
She literally took my breathe away from her beauty. I slammed my fist on to the wheel, my teeth grinding. Hinata put her hand on my shoulder, reminding me she was there. She was such a good friend, she must know how I feel. Doesn't she like Kiba or something?
"N-Naruto-kun, are you okay? D-do you want me to d-drive?" She asked, rubbing my shoulder before returning it back to her small frame. I shook a no, putting my car into reverse. I tried ignoring the nagging pain in the back of my heart, but it still got me. I drove away from the house, deciding to make the best of the time I had with Hinata.
"Sorry about that," I said, feeling bad for how I treated Hinata. She let out a small cough, not replying. I guess I made things pretty awkward... "So I'm guessing we're getting ramen?" I asked, trying to change the subject, and break the awkward silence between us.
"Whatever you w-want Naruto-k-kun," she replied, I nodded, pulling into my favorite ramen shop. She reached for her purse, but I made her put it back down. "Nar-"
"I'll pay, Hinata," I said with a smile. I opened my door, walking inside with her small figure trailing quickly behind me. The smell of spices and cooking ramen noodles filled my lungs, my stomach grumbled loudly, making me laugh.
"Naruto!" Ichiraku called as I walked into his small shop. I smiled giving him a wave, his waitress also greeting me. "Is that your girlfriend you brought with you?" I glanced at Hinata, whose face was a deep red, she quickly shook her head. I shrugged my shoulders, sitting in a seat at the counter. "So will it be the usual, then?"
"Believe it!" I called, as he then took Hinata's choose of ramen. It was quiet for awhile between us, while we waited for our orders to come. I couldn't tell if it was awkward or just enjoying that we were there together.
"Why do y-you like S-Sakura-chan?" She whispered quietly, my head snapping towards her. She was looking at her shoes, fiddling with her fingers on her lap. I thought about it for awhile, the question processing through my mind.
"Well," I tried to pick my words carefully, not wanting to sound like an idiot. "There's a lot of reasons, I guess," I felt uncomfortable and unsatisfied with my answer, but I kind of didn't know why I liked her. She was always mean to me, even when she knew I liked her, but she was really sweet sometimes.
Hinata nodded, before she could say anything else back, our food was placed in front of us. I immediately started to eat, shoving as much as I could at once in my mouth. I hope Hinata doesn't mind that I eat like a pig, but I don't really think she's one to judge.
I gave her another glance, she ate her food slowly, savoring every bite. Her cheeks still hinted a blush, which complimented her olive skin. I noticed how pretty her eyes were, this whitish purplish that made her hair look even darker than it was. She was just as pretty as Sakura, maybe even more, but then again, I think she likes Kiba.
I looked at my almost empty bowl, eating the rest slowly. I pushed away the bowl, my stomach now full. Hinata had also finished, making me wonder how she had ate so fast when she looked like she was eating so slow. I flipped open my orange flip phone, the time reading 11:24. "We better leave, Hinata, we have to back by 11:45," she nodded, getting off of her chair.
I tossed her the keys, as I took out my wallet. I payed, leaving my wallet almost empty. Thanking Ichiraku, I walked out the door, it's bell ringing once again.
Hinata was sitting in the passenger seat, singing and dancing to something on the radio. I began to laugh, as I walked to the door. She still hadn't noticed me until I opened up the door. Her familiar red face reappeared as she immediately turned down the radio. "U-uh..." She began, looking out the windshield. I let out a chuckle, as her face seemed to become redder.
"You can be really cute sometimes, Hinata," I teased, pulling out of the small shop. She let out an awkward laugh, looking like she might faint. The rest of the drive consisted of small talk, but was mostly was just awkward silence.
When we reached the school, I could see Sakura and Sasuke walk into school together. I still felt the familiar ping of jealous return to me, it felt like when I was with Hinata before I totally forgot about how jealous I was. I glanced to the passenger seat, seeing Hinata was already out, running to the school.
"Wha?" I said, before hearing the tarty bell dinging loudly.
"Shiiiiit...."
