It was 3pm when Steve and Bucky woke up the same time, still holding eachother and recieving the same amount of pins and needles in both their arms for holding on to tight. This however didnt worry them.
Steve was still upset about the whole apartment being trashed and the pictures that were destroyed, Bucky could see how upset he was and Gave him a Hug when he woke.
"Its gonna be alright Stevie, at least none of us got hurt, were got eachother and thats all that matters aye."
"Yea....yeaa your right i'm a complete idiot.Also hows your arm?" Steve asked
"Your not an idiot. And my arm has no feeling what so ever to it, its complety dead haha." Bucky said moving the hair out of his face
"Your a little poop." he added
"Is that what i am?" Steve grined getting up out of bed
"Yeap and we should eat something.... oh yea the plates.....are smashed." Bucky frowned
Steve Picked up his phone
"Its fineee..... we can go out and eat.... wait i don't think that might be happeneing." He sighed
"What do you mean i'm starving." Bucky goaned
"Well poohead we have to go to Stark tower ive got 7 missed calls and 3 angry texts from Nat.We have to go to sort out your arm and why you keep fainting randomly. Well get something to eat on the way."
They both got changed into the clothes that were wearable and headed off to Tonys. They Picked up some Maccas along the way. Bucky wanted a Happy Meal and Steve got a Cheese Burger meal. They Fought over the Toy.
"Finally your here took you long enough! now we know where the archive Base is but we will have to wait here for furthur orders before we can go kick ass." Clint said
"Thanks good news, Wheres stark?" Steve asked
The rest of them Pointed at the lab across the hallway.
Bucky and Steve walked over, they both knocked and entered.
"Aaaa Capsicle you finally made it."
The room was filled with unfinished inventions. Their were wires and tools lying around on the benchs. Tony was in the corner of the room fixing his suit.
"Right Barnes all you have to do is sit on this chair and well get this arm back together. Capsicle do you mind waiting outside?."
"Yea.... okay..." Steve said unsteady he gave Bucky a slight nodding, indicating that it was gonna be alright
Steve walked out and Tony started to get his tools. Their was uneasy silence between them since yesterday. Bucky put that behind him and spoke up.
"Now take your shirt up i need to see the arm clearer."
Bucky did as Tony asked He took his seat on the chair.
"Do you know what your doing?" Bucky asked
"Of course, im not stupid." Tony said
"Are you only fixing me because you have a thing for Steve?" Bucky questioned smiling
There was no reply
Tony moved his tools over near his feet and started operating on Buckys arm.
"Please tell me, i wont tell him." Bucky said
"Okay fine! I sort of am... and sort of not .... before you weren't here.....i sort of gave him a hard time.... so yea sorry and i need to concentrate." Tony mumbled fiddling around his arm
Bucky laughed
"Can you stop moving please, im trying to upgrade your arm." Tony said in a nice way

"Hows your arm?" Tony asks happy about his accomplishment.
Bucky moves his arm around. Clutching his fist and moving each finger.
"Its so light and it feels really good.Thank you Stark." Bucky smiled
"Can i ask you something?" Bucky asked
"Alright then, but if your going to talk about Rogers i'm not gonna answer." Tony said crossing his arms.
"Is their anyway you could restore my memory? i mean surely you have something that can help me, you must have at least some technology nowadaya to do things like this?"
"I dont know i have never done any memory restoring so i wouldn't do anything just to be on safe side. If it fails gramps wouldn't forgive me and he'll be a mess again. i'll also never forgive myself for Hurting you, your also....steves....best friend."
"Please can you at least try, ill pay you if you want and ill...."
"Look if it stuffs up you could die, and i only need to check why you keep fainting and thats it, you came here to get your arm fixed and a check up, I'm sorry im not doing any memory restoring today." Tony said
"Tony, you dont understand if you restore my memory, ill remember all the things i used to do with Stevie, I can stop pretending to know the things we used to do. Plus i could help find the achive base."
"Please!.... Tony!"Bucky pleaded
"I'm telling you, its really dangerous, i only use this machine on my suits to store and remember things from missions i dont think it should be used on humans."
"Please Tony, i want....anything to be like the Old Bucky i used to be, For Steve?"
Tony didnt answer and turned to the tools and started packing them up.
Bucky sensed that he wasnt going to start a conversation so he walked out
"Thank you for the arm up grade, i think ill go find a doctor that can help me fiqure my fainting problem, i dont wait to waste any of your time. Thank you though."
Bucky was about to walk untill Tony hesitated and yelled out
"Wait!"
"Yes Stark?"
"I just need to make a few adjustments, ill do it but you cant tell anyone yet.But dont get your hopes up, it might not work so be patient. I also think i can make the machine detect why you keep fainting." Tony said "Dont metion this to anyone just yet." Tony added
"I'll make sure of it, Thank you Stark, youre not as bad as people say you are." Bucky said
Tony smilied as Bucky walked out
"Bucky! Hows your arm?" Natasha asked touching the metal and flicking it and making a hard sound
" Its so much better, its so much lighter so its not straining my Back." Bucky replying happily
"Did you get your check up?" Clint asked
"Ummm...... he said he had to fix something...he told me ill get my check up when his done."
"Well brother, sit with us as we talk and drink and wait for orders." Thor said putting his arm Bucky

"Bucky, you can have your check up now." Tony said pecking out from the door
While they waited, The Avengers all talked and watched a movie. They has also ordered a Crappy Pizza hut Pizza which made Bucky tell everyone about their great pizza He and Steve shared the other day. No one really listened and just kept talking or trying to watch the movie.
"Are you ready? Remember you could die from this, i made a safe switch in case anything happens." Tony said pointing at the switch.
"Okay i'm ready."
The machine looked Eactly like the Brainwashing chair he had back in Pierces lab. It was like getting a brain washing all over again.
Bucky steadily sat in the chair carefully. His heart beating a Million miles a minute. Ajustting his hand in the cuff. His head looking at the ceiling.
"Okay i'm going just do your check up first because thats more important."
Tony pressed a few buttons on the panel that was connected the machine Bucky was sitting in.
"I'm going to do a super quick check up so do you mind if i could scan your brain and go directly to the source."
"Wait... what with my Brain?"Bucky said confused
"Can i do like a X-ray, like scan it so i can go directly to the source of the problem." Saying it again
"Oh right yea, go ahead."
Tony tapped a few buttons and a loud hum of rays scanned around his body before scanning his Brain.
"Okay, Basically it will take about 5mins untill i get any information. So relax a bit." Tony resurred him.
The minutes went by and the Moniter started Beeping.
"Anything?" Bucky asked anxious
" Oh...My... God...!" Tony gasphed put his hands over his mouth.
"What?! Tony whats Happened?!" Bucky said trying to get out of the chair.
"You... you... have a Mirco chip in your.... brain.. and thats... why you keep fainting because its meant to give you commands, they must of pretended to get rid of you and let Steve find you.This has happened to everytime you were alone with Steve Right?!"
Bucky nodded scared and his heart thumping loud and nearly coming out of his chest.
"Well... that means everytime it gave you a command, your mind tried to fight and get rid of it, you fainted because the would brain would shut down so you wouldn't follow the commands it was giving you. The Mircochip was probarly giving you commands without you even knowing when you were with Steve. The First time it would of succeeded was the when you stabbed yourself, you were actually meant to kill Steve."
"Is their anyway you could get it out?!I dont want it in my Brain all my life, I can't just leave steve like that i won't be able to....."
"Its okay i think i know how to get rid with it, but it would probarly take a while.Unless......"
Tony looked at his moniter and typed in a few things.
"But i don't understand, Why do i have it?"
Tony turned to him "You probarly have it because you firstly didn't elimate Steve when you had your chance, there probarly gave you this chip now to look like you murdered your best friend."
"Well can you operate me now?"
"Probarly, but what i think i can do is give you the memory boost and hopefully at the same time it, your memory would be stronger and your brain could dispose of it some how. But you will forever have it in your head." Tony said tapping the moniter flicking things around on the screen.
"Well i'm ready for my memory recovery!" Bucky said excitied.
"I'm still not sure about it, but of course will give it a go." Tony looked worried
Tony placed some patches on his head and cuffed his hands and legs on the chair. Bucky just looked at the ceiling.
"Ready?"
Bucky still looking at the ceiling nodded.
"Okay.....3.... 2....1..."
Tony tapped Green button on his Moniter.
A gasp came from Buckys mouth, his hands gripped onto the armrest.
"Its going to be okay Bucky."
"Sir, director Fury is on the line, Accept or decline?" JARVIS said
"Accept but dont let him see whats going on."
The call was accepted and Furys Face showed on the screen
Tony looked over at Bucky still gripping onto the arm rest, taking heavy deep breaths.
"Stark time to suit up, we give you clearence to go to the archive." Fury said
"Sure just give me a moment, do something for a friend, let the others know."
"Well hurry up, we need the Avengers to assemble right now.Fury out." The call ended
"Jarvis lock the door to this room, they don't need to know anything."
"Yes sir."
The door made a clicking noise as the door closed tightly.
*Bang Bang Bang*
"Stark, open up, we have a mission now. Do the check up later." Steve insisted
"No can do Capsicle, Bucky here needs more checking to be done go on without with me." Tony yelled making sure they all heard
"WHAT?! STARK OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW, WERE A TEAM! OPEN THIS DOOR THIS INSTANT!!" Natasha yelled
"If i stop now Bucky could never recover.Please this is my choice. Go now before its to late." Tony yelled louder
"Fine" Banner reply
"Come on guys lets suit up!" Clint added.
After they left they needed to have progress in the memory recovery.
"Are you okay? You know this only stage 1, it will get more painful just saying."
"Yea i know..... By the way.... Thank you... for not going to a.... important.... mission and trying to save me."
Tony said nothing, still looking at his moniter.
"Ready?"
Bucky nodded
Tony raised the bar on his.
"Arrrgghhhhhahhhhhhhhhahhhh." Bucky yelled, kicking and struggling to get out of his chair.
The moniter started flashing Red
"WARNING WARNING TO MUCH POWER"
it repeatedly flashed.
"ARRRRGHGHHHHGHHHAAAARGGGHHH!!!!!!" Bucky was kicking and his head and full of shock.
Tony couldn't take it anymore he pressed the Safety button.
"WARNING WARNING, HIGH RISK OF FAILURE WARNING WARNING" The computer beamed.
Tony was so scared the Button wouldn't work He pressed it a million times.
After nearly breaking the button,the machine stopped working and Bucky was unconious
"Bucky?! BUCKY??!! ARE YOU THEIR??!" Tony took his shoulder and shook him repeatedly
No answer Buckys eyes were closed.
"No! DON'T GIVE UP NOW!"
"48 Hour Countdown starting now." The computer beamed
"WHAT??!!"
Tony fiddled around on the keyboard,his hands shaking still looking at Bucky
"JARVIS STOP THE COUNTDOWN....NOW!!!"
"Command invaild, you must stop the Countdown via the brain."
"WHAT?!"
"Sir you a need a special incription to save him."
"WHAT IS THIS INCRIPTION?! TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET IT?! CAN I CRACK IT?!"
"Sir convieniently the file is hidden in the achive where the Avengers are now been located."
