[The next morning, Ambrosia Bellemore]
"Wake up or I'll squeeze a bottle ketchup in your mouth." I hear someone say.
What a queer alarm tune.
"There's a huge cockroach on your pillow, Ambrosia. It's staring at you with it's huge beady eyes."
I know it's eyes would bleed out after staring at me so much.
"Ambrosia, I ordered pizza."
My eyes fly open. I rip off the blanket covering me and sit up, swinging my legs over the side and..
Snap.
"Holymotherofgod." I holler.
"Ha. I knew you'd fall for it." The voice says proudly.
"You didn't have to cake the whole floor with rattraps, Frey." I complain, massaging my sore thumb.
"You weren't waking up."
"I didn't want to wake up."
"It's afternoon."
"It's sunday."
"I thought we could do some yoga together." Freida groans.
"I thought I could sleep in peace, alone." I grumble as I get off my bed and..
Snap! Snap!
"Holy shi-! clean up the damn room!" I shriek and stomp into the bathroom, trying to avoid the traps, which ultimately made me look like a frog thrown into boiling water.
Once safe in the bathroom, I stare into the mirror at my reflection, noticing how strikingly similar my features were to that of a troll.
"Me hungry. Me need food." I grumble under my breath and chuckle, my blue eyes shining with a light that I'd never seen in them before.
"There's something wrong with you, Ambrosia. Smiling without reason like that, you're definitely going crazy." I mumble under my breath, imitating my mother when she lectured me for hours on end.
But I knew exactly what was wrong with me. It revolved around a particular man who had given me the most entertaining twenty four hours of my life, and a bottle of very expensive wine.
"It's the rum. It's just because of the rum."

[The next morning, Calum Achorn]
"Hello? Are you in there? Did some alien possess your body? If you can't speak, give me some sign. A wink for yes and a shake for no. Come on, are you alright?"
I blink.
"Why are you blinking? What does that mean? Is the alien messing with your body?"
Where am I?
"In the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit, I condemn you back to the planet you came from!"
"Timothy, shut up!"
"Oh, it worked! Oh thank goodness, you're all right! Are you okay? Is the alien gone?"
"What?"
"Of course! You don't remember, do you? Well, an alien took possession of your body! You couldn't blink, move or talk. I finally managed to force it out of your body and..."
"I was sleeping, Timothy." I say with a shake of my head.
"Why were you sleeping here?" He asks incredulously.
"Where..?" I trail off. I was in my office.
How?
"And why were you cuddling with these shoes?" He asks, pointing at the ruby red heels.
Holy shit.
I stared at the heels for a solid minute, trying to recollect how we'd ended up together.
"Stop staring like you're in love with it." Timothy snapped.
"Oh shit, I fell asleep in my office." I groan, massaging my sore neck.
"It's the alien." I hear Timothy mumbles under his breath. I didn't have the strength to glare at him.
"What day is it?"
"Sunday."
"Oh, come on." I groan.
"Why don't you head home? The office is empty."
"Then why are you here?"
"I..I forgot something in my office." He twiddles him thumbs, smiling sheepishly.
"Green? What is it?"
"Calum, I think..I think I'm in love."
"You think?" I scoff, running a hand through my messy brown hair.
"This time, I'm sure of it."
"You said that last time too, Tim. I bet you even bought a ring."
"Which I'd forgotten in my office." He sighs. "But this isn't like before. There was no spark last time.." He says in a dreamy voice.
I roll my eyes.
"Your veins don't run with electricity, Green."
He gives me a look that says 'duh'.
"There wasn't music when our eyes clashed."
"I told you to hire some musicians to accompany you last time." I point out. He glares at me.
"My heart didn't beat frantically at the sight of her."
"Excessive increase in heart rate can result in death, Green." I say in a monotonous tone.
"Will you shut up?"
"You don't tell your employer to shut up, Green."
"Oh come on!"
"What?"
"I'm going to propose to her tomorrow night. The least you could do is show some support." He sighs dramatically.
"Take her to a nice restaurant."
"She's in Sydney. I'll be flying over there in...an hour." He says, checking his watch.
"You flew all the way here to get back the ring?" I ask in disbelief.
He shrugs.
"Love makes us do strange things." He says airily.
I stare at the heels I'd been cuddling with in my sleep.
Grunt.
"Your new assistant will be coming tomorrow, Green. Be nice to her, please." Timothy says and walks out.
"Sure, sure."
I stare at the heels again after he's gone.
"You heels from the Underworld, I must destroy you."
"Did the alien possess you body again, Achorn?" Timothy shouts from the next cabin.
"I'm surrounded by idiots." I mumble, gesturing to one of my bodyguards to bring my car and take me home.

Hola!
I just wanted to say that since my exams are about to arrive, I might not update any of my books until 23rd September, 2017.
But I'll be back with a bang after that, since I'll have my holidays and lots of free time to write!
Thank you, ciao.
