Prologue:
Run! My mind was screaming at me as I ran through the forest. Weaving past the trees at incredible speeds. I have to outrun them! The wolves were right on my tail. All the smaller animals from these woods scattered when they saw me coming. I thought to myself, haven't they ever seen a fourteen year old girl running for her life in the middle of a forest before? But when I looked down I didn't see my feet running... I saw paws. The paws of a wolf. I was so shocked that I skidded to a stop, ripping trails in the grass. Just that small mistake of stopping was enough time for the wolves to tackle me. Their teeth were like razors, slicing my skin open. That was the last thing I remembered before I was overcome by darkness.
