'Mommy, mommy! Wake up, mommy!'
You opened your eyes to your three-year-old daughter, Luna, tugging at your arm and shouting at the top of her lungs.
'Quiet, sweetheart, you're going to wake the entire neighborhood!' You mumbled playfully as you sat up and yawned. You hated being woken up early every morning, but your daughter's ridiculous grin couldn't help but put you in a good mood. As soon as she saw that you were awake, she jumped on the bed and climbed over you to start doing the same thing to her father.
Chris was passed out on his stomach, both arms wrapped around your waist. Luna grabbed one of the arms around your waist and pulled, instantly jolting him awake.
'Mmh...?' He lifted his head to look at his daughter, hair covering most of his face and his eyes still half closed. Her big brown ones, on the other hand, were wide open and shining.
'Mommy! Daddy! Come on! We have to go outside right now, I saw a bird outside my window!'
'Oh? A bird?' You laughed as Chris rose to a sitting position and pushed his daughters hair out of his face. Your daughter had inherited his brown hair, and it was growing longer each day. 'Okay, go get your shoes and coat on. We can go see if it's still there.'
'Aye aye!' Luna jumped off the bed and bolted out of the room. Chris rubbed his eyes and yawned. 'Your daughter sure is something.'
'Yes, our daughter sure is something.' You chuckled.
'Mommy! Daddy!' Luna yelled as she burst through the bedroom door.
'Yes?'
'Are you coming?!'
'Oh, right. Bird. Outside. Important.' Chris said slowly as he laid his head back on the pillow.
'Daddy!'
Chris groaned.
'We have to go now!'
'Chris! Get up!'
'Okay, woman!'
Luna giggled as her dad pulled the covers off himself dramatically and stumbled to the closet to get some clothes out.
'Luna, your coat isn't even buttoned up properly. '
Luna turned her attention to you and shrugged her tiny shoulders.
'There was no time for that!'
'Sweetheart, I'm pretty sure the bird is still there.'
'That means she isn't sure!' Chris yelled rom the closet.
'Christopher!'
'What?' He asked as he came out in some old band sweatpants and a t-shirt.
'You could have kept your pajamas on for that.'
You mumbled as you finished with your daughters coat.
'I'm sorry, what was that?'
'Nothin'.'
'That's what I thought, dear wife.'
'C'mon!' Luna pushed Chris out of the bedroom door and downstairs.
'Wait for me!'
'Hurry up, mommy!'
Your daughter had a temper like her father, so you didn't really want to piss her off or make her upset.
You got dressed quickly and put on a old pair of jeans and a old Metallica shirt.
When you got downstairs, Chris and Luna were in the kitchen.
Chris had Luna on his shoulder and she was reaching for some cereal.
'What're you guys doing? I thought we were going outside.'
'We changed our minds.' Chris said as he sets Luna down in a dining room chair.
'What do you mean, "we changed our minds"?'
'You took to long, mommy.'
'Yeah.'
You glared at Chris and went back upstairs to change back into your pajamas.
When you came back, you saw Chris and Luna sitting down with cereal all over the place.
'Daddy! Give yourself a mustache!'
Chris laughed and drank the milk from his bowl.
When he set the bowl down, he had some milk on his upper lip, and lifted his eyebrows up at Luna.
Luna laughed at her fathers antics as you sat down.
Chris licked the milk off and turned to face you.
'Hey, wanna go outside?'
'Wha-?'
'YES!' Luna screamed as she bounced up and down in her chair.
'I wanna go outside! Let's go, now!'
'Hold up...you two wanna go outside? After I just changed back into my pjs because you said I was taking to long to get dressed when you wanted to go out?'
'...yeah?'
'Are you serious?'
'More serious then when Uncle Ricky lost his guitar right before they had a show.'
Chris snickered. 'That was funny.'
Okay, that was kinda funny.
No, it was really funny, because Ricky was running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
'You two can go out, I'll stay here.' You say as you take the bowls from your husband and daughter and rinse them out in the sink.
'But it's no fun without you, mommy!'
Chris looked at his daughter and faked a hurt expression, to which she simply shrugged.
'Mommy makes me food, and you can't cook.'
You laughed as Chris put a hand over his heart and opened his mouth.
'Close your mouth, husband, you'll catch flies.'
'Haha, but I can't be mad, your mom does feed us.' He says as he pulls Luna into his lap.
'This was an eventful morning.'
'It might be an eventful night too if you play your cards right.' You winked.
Chris' face lit up.
'Okay, kid! Let's go outside!' Chris says as he picks Luna up and runs out the front door. 'We won't be long, Y/N!'
'Bye mommy!'
'Bye, baby! Be safe!' You laughed.
It was sure to be an eventful night.

Okay, I know this isn't the Ricky imagine I was talking about, but I really wanted to write this.
The idea was in my head and I wanted to write it as soon as possible.
I'll have that Ricky imagine out soon, probably in the next couple of days.
