I heard a firm knock. Tinignan ko ung bintana namin. It's sunrise. Tinignan ko yung clock sa may desk.
5:48 am
And I'm on my bed. Last memory I had was, I was in dad's car on the way home after the intrams and everything went blank. I must've slept on the way.
"Hindi mo man lang ba kami ihahatid ng dad mo sa airport?"
It was mom. And I was struck by what she said. Airport? Ihahatid? Why?
"Nakalimutan mo na ata, Maris"
Oo nga pala noh! I was caught off guard. Ngayon pala flight nila mom sa London.
I immediately stood up.
"How about school?"
"It's okay to be late once in a while, right?"
Bad influence, mom. Bad influence.
"I'll just take a quick shower."
"Okay"
Narinig kong nagfade ang mga yapak ni mom. I immediately took my towel and rushed to the bathroom.
I'll bet you're wondering why pupunta sila mom sa London. My mom and dad are trying to establish a business in London. At kapag sinwerte sila, doon na kami maninirahan. Pero patatapusin pa daw muna nila ako at ni kuya sa pag-aaral.
Ay siya nga pala, nakalimutan ko rin iintroduce ang kuya ko. Siya nga pala si Kuya Mackenzie Andrew C. Razon, 19 years old, 3rd year college and is my legal guardian from now on, I guess. Everyone calls him Drew except me, I call him Mackie/Kuya Mackie or just simply Kuya. He's a martial artist and is a blackbelter in judo and taekwondo. I learned to be a badass because of him. You know, bad influence of brothers.
I started drying my hair when I remembered something. Hinalukay ko sa trunk ko yung ginamit kong purse kahapon. And I found that piece of paper, my call parent slip. What should I do? I mean like, what's wrong with defending yourself? What's wrong to have revenge on somebody that embarrassed you in front of the whole school campus? Fucking hate this life!
I slid the piece of paper in my bag. And yes, naka-uniform na ako para diretso na ako sa school. And I thought of a brilliant, a really really brilliant idea!
8:04 am
(At the airport)
They waved goodbye, slowly fading until our eyes can't meet theirs. I'm gonna miss them.
Oh shut up the fucking words, An! Who are you kidding? It'll be more fun if they'll be away for a couple of years, right? Hay naku, demonyita talaga ako!
"Hoi, babae! Ayaw mo bang pumasok? Sige, iwan na lang kita dyan ha! Bye!"

Pumunta na kami sa saksakyan and buckled up. On the way....
"Ummm...Sya nga pala kuya, may sasabihin ako sa iyong importante."
"Bout what?", he said while he kicked to the curb.
"About school..."
"What about school?"
Shet! The moment of truth....
"I did something bad."
8: 33 am
We parked by the school lot and went out slowly walking towards the school entrance. My heart is pounding like crazy. I am so dead....
We reached the guidance counselor's office. We sat down and waited.
"Mr. Razon? Am I right? You're her older brother?"
"Yes."
"Haven't I seen you before? Were you a student here?"
"Yes, ma'am"
"And I guess you were well aware of what your sister did last night?"
"No, ma'am. I guess not."
The guidance counselor raised her eyebrow and glared at me. WTF?!
"Well, she just umm.. How do I put this? Binugbog niya ang isang host kahapon and she insulted some band who participated at yesterday's Rock fest. That's it!"
Lumingon sa akin yung mokong kong kapatid.
"I'd never thought you'd be that violent, An."
The fuck, Kuya?! You taught me how to be violent O_o
"I'm really sorry. Pagpasensyahan niyo na po 'tong kapatid ko. Medyo nagrerebelde lang po 'to. Kids these days..."
"Well, I understand. Pero make sure this will never happen again. Ms. Razon?"
"Yes, ma'am."
Umalis na kami at tumambay sa may fountain.
"Is something wrong with you?! You taught me to fight back when I'm being mistreated and pay them back triple what they've done! You're telling me na nagrerebelde ako?!"
"Relax, is my acting that good?! Of course, naiintindihan ko sitwasyon mo! Bakit? Ano bang ginawa sayo ng mga yun!"
"Hay naku, kuya! Wag na! Baka magiskandalo ka pa dito! Go home!"
Pilit ko siyang pinagtulakan palabas.
"Oh, yun pala si An! An!"
Narinig ko ang boses ni Jean. Lumingon ako sa kanila at nakita kong patakbo silang pumunta sa amin. Kasama rin nila yung ate ni Shai.
"Kuya mo?" tanong ni Ali.
"Oo, si Kuya Mackie." I informed.
My brother death glared me.
"How many times have I told you...NOT TO CALL ME MACKIE! I hate it."
He turned his back around me.
"Alright, alright. Calm down. Kuya DREW!"
"I'm going home." He said
"You gonna fetch me?" I asked
"No!" He demanded at nangbelat pa siya! Tss...Jerk!
"How old is he?" tanong ni Ate Shaica.
"19..."
"I think I've met him before. Nag-graduate ba siya dito?"
"Oo"
"Ah kaya pala. Anyways, Aira mauna na ako ha!" sabi ni Ate Shaica and she waved goodbye habang patakbo sa staircase."
"Why the hell does she call you Aira?" tanong ko.
"Trip ng buhay..." sagot ni Shai
"LOL"
"Siya nga pala Shai. Siguro naman kilala mo kung sino mga nanalo kahapon noh! Magkwento ka naman. Bwiset kasi 'tong si An eh!" sabi ni Ali.
"Sorry naman po!" I said.

"So what's new?" tanong si Jean
"You'll never believe what I'm going to say..." I said
"What?" sabi ni Shai
"My parents just left for London this morning! So grateful! Kasi kung hindi, I'll be so dead..." I narrated
"Why?" tanong ni Ali
"Remember that stupid call parent slip?!" pagpapa-alala ko sa kanila
"Ooooohhhh, and your brother fixed it right?" tanong ni Jean
"Yup, I'm a genius!"
"Conceited ka, gurl...." sabi ni Jean
We laughed our asses off planning for ridiculous stuffs to do at our sembreak, when something too good went overboard....
"Psst, An! Si Kuya Gian yun ah! And I think he's heading this way! Kakausapin ka ata..." sabi ni Shai
Shet! Of all times...
"Oh no! Dude, he's with Skull Candy! No, he's ruining his pure reputation!" sabi ni Ali
Too good but went too overboard, told you....
He walked through the crowd like an angel with devils following him. Such an angelic face but onstage he has a demon's heart.
He stopped at our table and looked at me with his damn eyes.
"I'm relieved that your in good condition now. I was worried you'll not be able to go to school today. I have something to show you. I hope you'll come." he said
He handed me a card that read:

He went closer and whispered.
"Isn't it great breaking the rules once in awhile? Trust me. We're the kings of this school...." He said
"Well see you later then. Your friends can come too..." He then left after winking to say goodbye. And all I can do is smile like an idiot.
Later that night....
(On the phone)
Shai: An! Nasan ka na?! Akala ko ba pupunta ka muna sa bahay?! Dumeretso ka na ba sa school?!
An: Ano ka ba?! Hindi nga ako maka-alis dito sa bahay eh! Si kuya kasi! He's acting like a freaking guard dog!
Jean: Oh no! Worst case scenario, dude!
Ali: Best night of your life-RUINED!
An: Uuuyy! Wag naman kayong ganyan!
Jean: Awww...You're acting like Cinderella now! Can't go to the ball tonight, sweetie?
An: Seriously guys?! Nakukuha niyo pang magpatawa! This should be the best night of my life!
Shai: You have to figure something out An! And quick! Iintayin ka namin sa bahay...Bye
Then, she hang up the phone. Thanks guys! Grabe! Laking tulong...

Ang bad luck naman ni An! Kinukunsime niya ako dito sa pag-aalala! Ako kayang gagawin nung babaitang yun! HAY! Bahala na...
Basta hindi kami aalis nang wala siya.
At the Razon's Residence....
AN's POV
Mag-isip ka An! Paganahin mo yang utak mo! Hindi maaaring nakakulong lang ako dito!
This is so frustrating and annoying! Putragis namang buhay na 'to! Akala ko mas gaganda ang buhay ko kung wala sila daddy at mommy pero mukhang dadalhin pa ako nitong mokong kong kuya sa impyerno!

After about 5 minutes of continuous mind fucking, parang may biglang sumulpot na bumbilyang umilaw sa taas ng ulo ko.
*evil grin*
Kinuha ko ulit ang telepono at tinawagan ang isang malapit na kaibigan ko. Nagriring ang telepono at may sumagot.
"Hello, Reyes' Residence. Sino po ito?"
"Ate Elise? Si An to! Kelangan ko sana ng tulong mo eh...Pwede ba?"
Siya si Ate Elisabeth Joy Reyes. Siya lang naman ang super bait at malapang-beauty queen ang kagandahan na crush ng aking mokong na kapatid. They go to the same university and currently nililigawan siya ni kuya. I did some of my own research ^_^v
At alam ko na magbebenefit ako kapag kinaibigan ko siya. We're definitely like sisters. Simula noon, hindi alam ni kuya na dumadalaw ako sa bahay nila (sa may kabilang street) kapag nabuburyong na ako sa bahay.
Dumating na nga ang takdang panahon para magamit ko siya. BWUHAHAHA!!
(On the phone)
"Hello, Reyes' Residence. Sino po ito?"
"Ate Elise? Si An to! Kelangan ko sana ng tulong mo eh...Pwede ba?"
"Oo naman noh! Ano ba yun, lil' sis?"
"Ummm...tungkol kay kuya eh."
Napatigil siya parang biglang naputol yung linya.
"Ate Elise? Nanjan ka pa ba?"
"Ahh..E-ehh...Oo. Bakit? Ano bang maitutulong ko jan?"
"Kasi ganito yun. I was invited to this event in school. It's a congratulatory party or something. At ayaw pumayag ni kuya kasi daw baka ano daw mangyari sa amin dahil gabi na. He's treating me like a baby!"
"And? What do you want me to do?"
"Distract him!"
"Ha? Ano? Paano?"
"Simple. Just come to the house. He'll be shocked by that easily. I know my brother. And because of your mere presence in the house, makakalimutan niyang I exist. Makakalimutan niyang nandun ako sa room. At hindi niya alam sa mga pagkakataong yong nakatakas na ako sa bahay!"
"I dunno, An...It isn't the right thing to do."
I went silent and acted that i was crying.
"An? Are you crying? Oh, come on! Gaano ba kahalaga yang party na yan?"
"It should be the best night of my life! Kelangan kong pumunta dun! Please...I'm begging you."
"Sige na nga, basta huwag mo akong idadamay pag may nangyari sa iyo! Pinagsabihan kita!"
"Yaaaay! Thank you talaga!!!"
"I'll be there in about 5 minutes..."
"Sige! Bye..."
Binaba ko na yung phone at nag-ayos na! HAAAAAAY!!! Thank you, Lord :)
