"Give me that!" Jack takes back his blaster.
"Mummy. I want my mummy" he fiddles with some buttons and uses his blaster to repair the hole in the wall.
"Digital rewind. Nice switch."
"It's from the groves of Villengard. I thought it was appropriate" {Y/N} shrugs.
"There's really a banana grove in the heart of Villengard and you did that?" Jack says.
"Bananas are good" she replies, that's when the wall starts to crack "come on!" she turns ready to run down another hall but there are patients slowly advancing towards them.
"Mummy. Mummy. Mummy."
"It's keeping us here till it can get at us" {Y/N} says.
"It's controlling them?" Jack asks.
"It is them. It's every living thing in this hospital" the Doctor says.
"Okay. This can function as a sonic blaster, a sonic cannon, and as a triple-enfolded sonic disrupter. Doc, what you got?"
"I've got a sonic, er. Oh, never mind."
"What?"
"It's sonic, okay? Let's leave it at that."
"Disrupter? Cannon? What?"
"It's sonic! Totally sonic! I am soniced up!"
"A sonic what?!"
"Screwdriver!" the little boy breaks through the wall and Rose grabs Jack's blaster and points it to the floor, sending the four falling to the ward below, Jack quickly stands and repairs the hole in the ceiling.
"Doctor, {Y/N} are you okay?" Rose asks.
"Could've used a warning" the Doctor replies standing up.
"Oh, the gratitude, how about you {Y/N}?"
"Oh, I'm ok, thanks" Rose smiles and helps her stand.
"Who has a sonic screwdriver?"
"We do" the Doctor gestures to {Y/N} and himself.
"Lights" Rose whispers, looking around.
"Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks, ooo, this could be a little more sonic?"
"What, you've never been bored?"
"There's got to be a light switch."
"Never had a long night? Never had a lot of cabinets to put up?" that's when some patients sit up in their beds.
"Mummy. Mummy."
"Door" Jack points his blaster at it but nothing happens "damn it!"
"Mummy."
"It's the special features. They really drain the battery."
"The battery?" {Y/N} pulls out her sonic and uses it on the door and pushes Jack, the Doctor and Rose inside before closing the door "that's so lame!"
"I was going to send for another one, but somebody's got to blow up the factory."
"Oh, I know. First day I met hers she blew my job up. That's practically how they communicate."
"Okay, that door should hold it for a bit" {Y/N} says.
"The door? The wall didn't stop it!" Jack shouts.
"Well, it's got to find us first! Come on, we're not done yet! Assets, assets!" {Y/N} waves her hands around.
"Well, I've got a banana, and in a pinch, you could put up some shelves" Jack says.
"Window" the Doctor says.
"Barred. Sheer drop outside. Seven stories" Jack says.
"And no other exits" Rose adds.
"Well, the assets conversation went in a flash, didn't it?"
"So, where'd you pick this one up, then?" the Doctor asks.
"She was hanging from a barrage balloon, I had an invisible spaceship. I never stood a chance" Jack replies.
"Ok. One, we've got to get out of here. Two, we can't get out of here. Have I missed anything?" {Y/N} asks.
"Yeah. Jack just disappeared" {Y/N} turns to see a confused Rose and a shocked Doctor "ok, so he's vanished into thin air. Why is it always the great looking ones who do that?"
"I'm making an effort not to be insulted" the Doctor says.
"I mean, men."
"Ok, thanks, that really helped."
"Rose? Doctor? {Y/N}? Can you hear me? I'm back on my ship" Jack's voice echoes from the radio "used the emergency teleport. Sorry I couldn't take you. It's security-keyed to my molecular structure. I'm working on it. Hang in there."
"How're you speaking to us?" the Doctor asks.
"Om-Com. I can call anything with a speaker grill."
"Now there's a coincidence."
"What is?"
"The child can Om-Com, too."
"He can?" Rose asks.
"Anything with a speaker grill. Even the Tardis phone" {Y/N} says.
"What, you mean the child can phone us?"
"And I can hear you. Coming to find you. Coming to find you."
"Can you hear that?" Jack asks.
"Loud and clear" the Doctor replies.
"I'll try to block out the signal. Least I can do."
"Coming to find you, mummy."
"Remember this one, Rose?" 'Moonlight Serenade' starts playing.
"Our song" Rose whispers smiling, a little while later Rose is relaxing in a wheelchair, {Y/N} is sitting on the floor with her legs crossed and eyes closed, while the Doctor is at the barred window using his sonic.
"What you doing?" Rose asks.
"Trying to set up a resonation pattern in the concrete, loosen the bars" the Doctor replies.
"You don't think he's coming back, do you?" Rose looks over at {Y/N} who shrugs, her eyes still closed.
"Wouldn't bet my life" she replies.
"Do you trust him?" Rose asks, {Y/N} opens her eyes and looks at Rose ready to speak but the Doctor beats her to it.
"Why do you?" he asks.
"He saved my life. Bloke-wise, that's up there with flossing. I trust him because he's like you. Except with dating and dancing. What?" she asks noticing the look on the Doctor's face.
"You just assume I'm..."
"What?"
"You just assume that I don't dance."
"What, are you telling me you do dance?"
"Nine hundred-year-old, me. I've been around a bit. I think you can assume at some point I've danced" {Y/N} laughs quietly.
"You? Have you danced {Y/N}?" {Y/N} nods at Rose's question.
"Believe it or not I've danced with him" Rose laughs and looks up at the Doctor.
"Doesn't the universe implode or something if you dance?"
"Well, I've got the moves but I wouldn't want to boast" Rose leans over and turns the volume up on the radio where 'Moonlight Serenade' still plays.
"You've got the moves? Show me your moves" Rose says grinning, {Y/N} shakes her head smiling.
"Rose, I'm trying to resonate concrete."
"Jack will be back. He'll get us out. So come on. The world doesn't end because the Doctor dances."
"That is true, Doctor, you should dance with her" {Y/N} says.
"But I'm trying to resonate concrete" {Y/N} crosses her arms as he gets down and walks towards Rose who has her hands out., the Doctor looks down at her palms and takes them gently.
"Barrage balloon?"
"What?"
"You were hanging from a barrage balloon."
"Oh, yeah. About two minutes after you left me. Thousands of feet above London, middle of a German air-raid, Union Jack all over my chest."
"We've travelled with a lot of people, but you're setting new records for jeopardy friendly."
"Is this you dancing? Because I've got notes."
"Hanging from a rope thousands feet above London. Not a cut, not a bruise."
"Yeah, I know. Captain Jack fixed me up."
"Oh, we're calling him Captain Jack now, are we?"
"Well, his name's Jack and he's a Captain."
"He's not really a Captain, Rose."
"Do you know what I think? I think you're experiencing Captain envy. You'll find your feet at the end of your legs. You may care to move them."
"If ever he was a Captain, he's been defrocked."
"Yeah? Shame I missed that."
