The ship was damaged badly
The captain informed the passengers sadly
"I've called all the boats around through the radio link.
"We must get the lifeboats in the water;
"this ship is gonna sink."
In the midst of this like there was nothing left to lose
The pro-lifers argued with the right to choose.
"We're first on the lifeboats." Said the people from first class.
"More capitalist oppression," said another, "fucking kiss my ass!"
Another flashed a gun and a big wad of cash
Drunk, he came forward, offering everyone a drink.
Get the lifeboats in the water
This ship is gonna sink.
Racial minorities screamed, "they won't be boarded fair."
People's pets in lower hatches can't be left down there.
The religious insisted all should stop and pray.
"Pray while you lower lifeboats." A lot of others say.
"Make all this an issue now, and we won't survive the day."
"Trannies board with women," the queer said with a wink.
Just get the lifeboats in the water.

But no lifeboats were lowered.
The ship sank, and everybody drowned.
Crying, praying, screaming, choking was the only sound.
Through all this, someone screamed, "At last!"
Solving humanity's problems took too long,
And the ship had sunk too fast.
