"How are you going to explain this to your harem?" Griff asks as I pull on my shirt and do my belt buckle. My face drops at the thought. I don't have a harem, do I?
"I don't have a harem." I state hopelessly knowing that although I've never had sex with any of them, I still technically have a harem. Griff's expression shows exactly this. "What have you done with Y/N?!" I hear Cara say from somewhere behind me, looking around I see her with a large kitchen knife against Giffin's throat. As I turn her eyes light up "Y/N!" She says gleefully wrapping me in about a dozen legs while her arms continue to hold the knife in Griff's direction.
"Cara, leave her alone, she's Griff. She'll be joinin-" My words stop as Cara tightens around me choking the air from my lungs. "C-cara!" I wheeze trying to claw her off me, my pathetic fingers doing little to her chitinous body.
"What do you meeeaaaannn?" She whispers in my ear, the knife straying way too close to important parts of my body. The way she extends the word 'mean' and the love hearts in her eyes unnerve me.
"If I was you, I'd let go of him." Griff states, clearly thinking this will help the situation. This gets Cara's attention, making her move the knife away from my friend downstairs. "If you cut that off how will he fertilise your eggs?" Griff says, has she dealt with centipedes before?
"You're right. How could I be so stupid?" Cara slaps her forehead dropping the knife to the floor. It embeds itself in the wood planks. "I'm Cara, who're you smarty pants." She reaches out her hand for a handshake.
"I'm Griff." She answers grabbing Cara's hand firmly before slamming her into the ceiling, flakes of plaster an paint raining from above. "If you go near Y/N or little Y/N again I won't be so forgiving." She threatens as Cara falls to the ground in a mess of legs.
"D-don't do t-that... I k-know Cara I-isn't t-the most a-agreeable p-person ever but no need to get v-violent." May says in an almost angry tone, helping Cara to her many feet. Griff leaves the room as if the house already belongs to her. If Myrda was here I'd think she did already own the house. Speaking of which I should probably mention that I'm alive, Although I am quite thirsty.
Shrugging my shoulders I go into the kitchen, looking in the fridge I see a distinct lack of what I came here for. "Y/N? You're back!" Kate yells upon seeing me, I hear her moving towards me but she stops, seeing my expression.
"W-who drank all the fucking orange juice?!" I growl holding the empty carton in my hand, my brow furrowed. "Y/N!" Myrda shouts walking into the room. "What's wrong?" She asks seeing my expression, then she notices the empty carton in my hand. "Oh." She realises. "I-it was one of Smith's friends. T-they're still in the living room." Myrda explains, Kate hiding slightly behind her.
"SMITH!!!!" I shout stamping towards the living room with the empty carton still in my hand. "What is this?!" I ask loudly upon entering the room, not realising the others on the room at first. Even when I do notice I pretend not to notice.
"It's an empty carton." She smirks, knowing full well that it annoys me even more.
"Who drank it?" Calming down I ask. In response Smith looks at someone sitting opposite her on the other side of the room. "Jean drank it." Smith answers drinking from a cup of coffee. Where did she get that from? "Who's Je-"
Before I can finish my sentence the person sitting opposite Smith stands up and starts speaking "I'm Jean." She states simply, her appearance makes it obvious that she's another non human. "Smith! What have I told you? I don't have the space for anyone else!" I say disdainfully.
"Is this a bad time?" Griff asks walking into the room from behind me, I rub the bridge of my nose. "You don't need me to give you anymore, you're doing a fine job yourself." Smith chuckles lightly.
"More what?" Griff questions stretching her arms and wings simultaneously. Smith looks inquisitively at me as if awaiting an answer, she soon realises that I won't give her one so decides to speak up. "Who're you?" Smith interrogates Griff.
"I'm Y/N's Girlfrie-"
"What!?" Several voices interrupt us from behind, turning around I can see five girls glaring at me while Nero holds them back, with her surprisingly strong frame. I sigh and turn to Smith "I suppose there's no point in hiding anything. I knew about non humans long before the rest of the world did. While staying in the USA I met Griffin, we became....acquainted before there were any laws about it. Then she kidnapped me yesterday." I explain in a way which should mean I don't get arrested.
"So you knew that us non humans existed but didn't tell anyone?" Jean asks as if I was talking to a wall. "Of course I didn't say anything." I reply.
"Why not?" She asks again as if I'm a complete idiot.
"I was afraid that they'd try to cut Griff open. You know like humans do to frogs in biology class." Jean freezes, my words finally making sense. Me and Griff had agreed for me not to tell anyone years ago, it seemed like the obvious thing to do, or not do depending on how you look at it.
"Well then. That's confusing, I don't think I can arrest you for that." Smith seems to ponder the thought for a while. "You wanted to arrest me?" I ask slightly annoyed.
Without answering me Smith leaves with Jean in tow and I realise I never addressed the Orange juice situation. I turn to face the others waiting for my punishment "You have a lot of explaining to do!" Cara's eyes change again, the others also look like they're waiting for some kind of answer, even Nero looks somewhat expectant.
"I have a better idea." Griff steps forward and whispers to the others, I can feel my pupils dilate in fear. My legs ready to bolt if necessary. Judging by the expressions on the faces of the others my worst fears are confirmed, but it's already too late. Both of the exits from the living room are blocked off and the window is closed.
Maybe I should just jump through it. They see me looking at the window and wait for me to make my choice. "Could we maybe talk about this?" I suggest stepping backwards towards the window slowly. "Talking comes later. Now you're going to explain in other ways." Kate smirks.
"Shit..."
