Chapter 8

Instinctively, I raise my pistol at him, but he gives me a knowing smirk that informs me clearly that  bullets aren't much of a concern of his.
His lips curl back into a smirk-like snarl, and growls "I'm going to kill you, you dirty bastard."
I try to cleverly come back at him, to tell him that he's wrong, that he's not going to touch me, but when I open my mouth no sound comes out.
He darts down to me at the speed of light and grabs me by the throat, cutting the blood and oxygen supply to my brain. I thrash at him wildly, but I can't... I can't stop this. I'm dying.
I feel vomit rising in my throat but out can't come out because he's gripping my throat and I'm choking I'm choking I'm choking I'm dying I can't breathe
Darkness creeps into my vision... everything is going dark... I can't breathe...
I stop thrashing.
Slowly, my eyes close, and I embrace the darkness.
