His father was killed
He cried out for justice
A lawyer made him believed
that the truth will be unveiled
But poor Juan dela Cruz,
he waited 'til his hair turned gray
And now,
the verdict is still out of sight
The witness will soon to die
The accused is enjoying his life,
but the so-called justice
remained to be JUST-TIIS.
This poem is a hyperbole of our country's legal system.
