Rain Drop

Falling

          My entire world came crashing down just as the rain did. I read our texts over to just make sure I wasn't having a nightmare.                                                
          "Chad: Hey its chad Alexis is in the hospital
          Me: What? why? 
          Chad:She tried to od on our moms sleeping meds
           Me: What hospital?
          Chad: Our Lady of the Lake off of Juban Park
          Me: I'm on my way."
          If she dies, I would die with her. I lost her once but I will NEVER lose her again. We were bestfriends. For the longest time I thought I was in love with her and we WERE soulmates; just as bestfriends. I put on the thin-leathered jacket, which she had given me for my 17th birthday, grabbed my keys, and then went out into the rain. I could feel the tears welming into my eyes as I went towards the door. I stepped out and felt the rain hitting my face and shoulders. I didn't know whether or not I was crying. That's what I loved about the rain; the fact I couldn't tell. Maybe I could tell, but just didn't want to realize. I have to see her. Maybe she'd wake up. I can't lose her. I can't lose MY Alexis.
