Bellamy's growing so fast.
"Sis" Mj called me while I watch my son play.
"Oh sis kumusta?" As of now isang taon na silang kasal ni Dave and I'm happy for them. Nakakatuwa lang talaga na sila ang nagkatuluyan.
My business is fully handled by Ash by now. Umuwi sila ng buong family nila dito sa Pinas for good. Kasi namimiss na raw ni Tita Kyla ang Pilipinas.
I'm good friends with the whole family but to one person.
We broke up three years ago matapos yung insidente with Laureen.
Napag desisyunan ni Ash na saluhin yung responsibilidad ng Kuya Elli n'ya sa business namin. And he said yes without hesistation sa proposal ni Ash.
He left like that.
No reason on why he suddenly wants to break up with me. I asked him if it was because of my choices.
Sabi n'ya naiintidihan n'ya na kailangan kong piliin ang anak ko at all cost.
He even said I should make the choice if I think it's right. He said he loves us.
But all those words meant nothing when he said nothing but let's stop this shit I'm tired.
Ganon lang, he left me hanging ng ganon lang. I had enough of people leaving me kaya siguro hindi ko s'ya hinabol. Hindi rin ako nagmakaawa sa kanya.
Pero hindi naman ako masamang tao na idadamay ang pamilya n'ya. They're nothing but nice to me. Lalo na yung mga kapatid n'ya. I grew so close with Abraham and Gabriel.
And of course Ash.
As for Elliot. He's somewhere we all don't know. Madalas s'yang out of town, we barely see him but when we do he's all quiet and cold.
S'ya pa yung may gana na maging ganon. I tried to ignore him all these years but I couldn't. Kaya minsan I stalk his SNS and I saw nothing.
"I'm good, kayo?" I replied.
"He's back, again, nandito s'ya all of a sudden and he's talking to Dave" she revealed. Parang he-who-must-not-be-named ang peg ni Elli. Everyone's so careful in naming him in front of me.
Ang sabi ko naman sa kanila na okay lang ako. And I am really fine.
If ayaw na n'ya talaga edi ayaw. Hindi na ako mag-mamakaawa ulit sa isang tao. I've had enough with Greg. Naubos na n'ya kaya wala na akong nagamit kay Elli.
"I don't care Mj, let him be" I said tired of him.
"Kahit na ikaw pinag-uusapan nila?" I admit I'm a bit shock, after three years he suddenly wants to talk about me? Why?
"I'm eavesdropping right now" she whispered, she's a lawyer for crying out loud.
"Mj, seriously?" I said whispering to, baka kasi naka loud speaker pa s'ya!
"Omg omg you won't believe what I just heard!" Sabi n'ya, I'm now starting to get curious.
"Ano?" I said impatiently
"Laureen's going to transfer in a mental institution" she said.
She's been in prison for three years now, natuluyan na pala s'ya. I don't know kung maaawa ako or ano.
Kidnapping and attempted murder yung mga naging grounds n'ya.
S'ya mismo yung bumaril kay Elli noon.
That day still haunts me until now.
"So ano naman kinalaman ko doon?" Tanong ko kay Mj. I heard her sigh.
"Sis, Elli's going to with her sa states kasi gusto ng parents ni Laureen na doon s'ya i-transfer" so what? Magsama sila, for all I care.
"Sabi ko nga hayaan na natin s'ya. Kung gusto n'ya samahan si Laureen go walang pipigil" sa totoo lang I stopped hoping na he'll comeback to me a year ago. I'm so done.
He's been ignoring me for three years kaya sanay naman ako na parang hindi nag-eexist sa buhay n'ya. And I think I should do the same.
Ni hindi nga n'ya makumusta si Bellamy.
"I know you resent him for breaking up with you, pero don't you think the fact na hindi ka n'ya mabigyan ng rason kasi sa totoo lang may mabigat na rason at alam n'ya pag nalaman mo pipigilan mo s'ya?" If he really trust and love me then he should know that I am willing to take anything for him.
Mas maganda nga sana kung may rason kung bakit n'ya ako iniwan so that naka-move on sana ako ng mabilis.
So that I know what I did, para alam ko kung saan ako nagkulang at nagkamali.
Ni hindi man lang kami umabot ng isang buwan pero ganito na kalalim yung sugat na iniwan n'ya.
"Whatever the reason was, I'm not interested anymore" I lied, I still need his reason.
"You know what, you're not a good liar, tsaka baka nakakalimutan mo, I'm a lawyer, I know when someone's lying through the tone of the voice" I stick to my lie, kahit na alam kong di s'ya maniniwala.
After ng pag-uusap namin na 'yon, pinaliguan ko na si Bellamy, we will be visiting Tita Kyla, sabi n'ya kasi namimiss na n'ya si Bellamy.
They love my son as their own. Kasi syempre alam naman nila na binigay ni Elli yung name n'ya. And of course sabi nga ni Ash how can they resist Bellamy's charm. Napaka-cute na bata daw and he brings joy to all of them.
Nakakalungkot lang talaga na natiis ni Elli si Bellamy. Sometimes I feel sorry for my son, kasi for the second time nawalan s'ya ng tatay. I wish I can explain everything to him na hindi s'ya masasaktan paglaki n'ya.
Kaya rin siguro sobrang close n'ya ngayon kay Gab, one of the triplets, s'ya kasi yung mas kamukha ni Elli.
Si Abe naman kasi laging out of the country din because of business.
The triplets are so different in many ways.
Nang makarating kami kila Tita, Bellamy suddenly cries! Medyo nagpanic ako kasi kanina naman okay s'ya tahimik nga lang.
Tapos nagbubuo-buo yung pawis n'ya na malamig and then omg he blows!
Agad ko s'ya ibinaba ng sasakyan and let him vomit. Omg! I saw Ash running towards us.
"What happened?" She asked
"I don't know Ash, okay naman s'ya kanina" he kept on crying while blowing.
Ash called Tita Kyla.
"Get back in the car" Elli said, sumunod naman ako, he drove as fast as he can. I keep on glancing at him while rubbing the back of my child.
Sila Ash naka convoy sa amin.
Tumigil si Bellamy sa pagsusuka nang makarating kami sa Hospital. Pero he's still crying. Medyo namumutla na rin s'ya.
My heart's pounding.
One, because Bellamy's sick.
Two, because Elli's here.
Three, he held my waist and slowly rubbed it. As if he's comforting me like before.
The doctor said, it's stomach flu and it'll last 12 to 24 hrs, kaya pwede naman namin s'yang iuwi and binagyan lang kami ng ilang medications.
"Baby narinig mo 'yon you'll be going home, thanks for being brave" I said to him, he giggles when I pinched his cheek.
I saw Elli talking to Ash tapos bigla silang lumapit at kinuha n'ya si Bellamy sakin "Mom and I will take care of him" I nodded, nauna sila umalis naiwan kami ni Elli.
"What?" I asked. Of course may dahilan kung bakit nagpaiwan kami.
"Sa car tayo" so I followed suit.
"What now?" I asked impatiently pagkaupong-pagkaupo namin sa sasakyan.
He sighed looking straight sa windshield.
"Let's go home, Bellamy and I need to rest" kung buntong hininga lang naman ang gagawin n'ya edi umuwi nalang kami.
"I'm sorry" he finally said.
"Sorry for what?" I shot back.
"For everything" I nodded.
"Okay" I simply said.
"No it's not okay" he hissed.
