We use closets like a coffin,
A sickly wooden prison,
And while us freak live inside,
On the inside we're living,
Inhale and exhale,
Like others tend to do,
Our hearts beat,
But they're different than you.
Your heart beats slow,
At at calm steady pace,
While when you get close,
Mine goes all over the place,
Fear keeps me trapped,
A fish out of water,
And lies keep me here,
"I'll always be your daughter".
Buried deeper and deeper,
As time drags on,
And my coffin with thicken,
More steady years gone,
My sound is muffled,
Every movement is light,
My eyes are open,
Coffin closed tight.
