Emily's POV.
"Turn." Rebekah commanded me.
I look at myself and cringe. My body didn't look good in the short, ruffly dress.
"I don't think this is the one." I say, turning towards my friends on the couch.
"Yeah, you should try on a long dress it looks better." Caroline commented.
"Yeah." I agreed.
Before I went into the dressing room, I saw Hayley walk out with a similar short dress, except it looked beautiful on her.
"That's the one." I told Hayley, before heading into my dressing room.
I picked up a long dress with diamonds covering all the top. I slip it on and put it on. I couldn't help, but laugh at myself.
"Who picked this out?" I asked, stepping out of the dressing room.
"You look very flashy." Hayley laughed.
"You might just overshadow me." Caroline added.
"It looked cute on the rack." Rebekah defended.
I twirl in the flashy dress.
"Pose." Caroline told me.
I made very dramatic and silly poses. I even dragged Rebekah and Hayley with me.
Caroline continued to take pictures, laughing as she went along.
"Ok, I'm gonna go try something else on." I decided.
The next dress was the one. I knew it as soon at I put it on.
"I love it!" I exclaim.
Murmurs of agreement flooded through my friends mouths.
"Ok, I need a picture of you three." Caroline said.
Hayley, Rebekah, and I stood together. All of us wearing our Brides Maids dresses.
"Beautiful." A voice called out from the front of the store.
I turned my glance and saw Kol standing there with a suite wrapped in a long plastic bag.
"I'm pretty sure that is the nicest thing you have ever said to me." Rebekah chuckled.
"I'm feeling kind today, what can I say?" Kol replied, sitting next to Caroline.
"What are you doing here?" Caroline asked.
"Visiting my friend." He said, looking over at me.
"I'll be out in a minute." I say, running to the dressing room.
It takes me a second to change before I'm out to where I was just standing.
"Do you need anything else?" I ask my cousin.
"No, have fun." Caroline hugged me goodbye.
I looked up at the sky and notice the dark sky.
"I hope it doesn't rain." I comment.
"I'm sure it won't." Kol replied, also looking up.
Just on time, rain droplets start falling.
"Well it's not that bad." Kol said.
The rain started pouring down hard.
I ran to the closes building, but of course it was closed. There was a small cover, but I was still getting really wet.
"Here." Kol pulled the plastic bag above our heads.
We huddled closely together to get under the cover.
"Are we going to wait it out?" Kol asks.
"Unless you want to go out in that." I said, looking up at him.
His normal face turned into a mischief filled grin.
"Don't even-" I started, but interrupted when Kol grabbed me by the waist.
The water pebbles fell hard against my body. I was getting soaked in water.
"Let me go." I demanded with a laugh.
He let me down, but kept his arms on my shoulders.
"You're crazy!" I screamed over the rain.
"It's one of my best features." Kol smiled.
I twirled around in the rain, laughing uncontrollably.
"May I have this dance, my lady?" Kol asked, holding out his hand.
"Yes you may, fine sir." I accepted.
Our hands meet each other and we move around, freely.
Kol twist home as I laugh uncontrollably.
"Quite the dancer mister." I complimented.
"Oh why thank you." He moves side to side.
He looks so relaxed, something I haven't seen in a long time. His eyes have open and a small smile on his face.
"What?" He asks.
"Nothing, you just look happy." I replied.
"Because of you Emily. I don't know if I tell you this enough, but your a great friend. I mean you can handle me." Kol confessesed.
We had stoped dancing by now. We were standing in front of each other as the water fell beside us.
"Kol, I don't have to deal with you. Your a good person and friend. You make me forget about all the complicated things in my life." I shout over the rain.
He smiles sadly at me. I knew he wasn't used to hearing things like this.
"Hey, I mean it." I assured him, moving closer to him.
He looked at me, seriously. I showed him a reassuring, small smile.
He suddenly leans closer to me. My heart starts racing when his eyes drag along my face in a way I've never seen from him.
I don't know why, but I closed the gab between us. His hands go around my waist and mine rub against his face.
My mind was racing with thoughts.
What am I doing? Kol is my best friend? I never felt this way about him before? What happens after this? Why don't I feel totally disgusted?
When we separate, I feel a wave of shame. We both back away from each other.
I run a hand through my hair and turned away from my best friend.
I don't feel this way about Kol. Then why did I kiss him? I'm such a horrible person. What about Elijah?
Kol's POV.
I just kissed Emily. My best friend and Elijah's girlfriend.
"Bloody hell." I muttered under my breath.
I ruined my friendship for what? One damn kiss? I mean it wasn't bad. Actually it was quite good. Shut up Kol.
I'm in love with Bonnie and even though we are not together I feel like I betrayed her.
"What did we do?" Emily asked with a sigh. "It didn't mean anything to you, right?"
"No." I answered.
"Then why?"
"I'm sorry Emily, I shouldn't have."
"It's both of our faults. We were just lonely or."
"I can't loose you, Emily. As a friend."
"You aren't. It was mistake." Emily assured me.
"A mistake we can't tell anyone." I told her.
She nodded in agreement.
My phone buzzed and I looked down. My brother was calling.
"I have to go." I told Emily.
"It's fine, go ahead." She replied, walking off.
I head to the corner where I was going to meet my brothers.
"I would have taken a car, but that is your choice of course." Klaus jokes about me being soaking wet.
"You know I never do what I'm suppose to." I spoke, but it sounded weak.
Elijah grabs my arm, gently and looks at me in confusion.
"Are you ok, brother." He asks, seriously.
I wanted to tell him. I wanted to tell someone, but I couldn't. Especially not him. We had now just began to get along.
"Let's see." I held out my phone. " still handsome? Yup I'm good."
Elijah looked at me for a second before letting go of me.
"Now onto more important matters, why am I here?" Klaus asks us.
We ignore him and walked into the building. There Marcel is waiting.
"Come on, I got a private room." Marcel smirked.
"Bachelor party? Elijah don't you think this is a bit presumptuous? I mean we are thousand year old vampires." Klaus asked his older brother.
"Well Niklaus, if you don't want to be apart of this then Kol and I will gladly enjoy it ourselves." Elijah told his brother.
"I didn't say I wasn't joining." Klaus smacked Elijah's back.
Hopefully this will get my mind off of everything.
Caroline's POV.
"Can I open my eyes now?" I asked every two minutes.
"Not yet!" Rebekah exclaimed.
Rebekah continued to lead me to an unknown location.
"Please don't kill me." I joked.
"I would get a dagger in my back by Nik if I did such a thing. Trust me, I don't want to back in a box." Rebekah replied, honestly.
I laughed, because that was probably true.
"Ok, take off your mask." Rebekah told me.
I ripped it off, quickly. I saw Emily and Hayley sitting on a long table with party hats and noisemakers.
"Surprise." Hayley and Emily shouted, blowing their noisemakers.
"Aww thank guys." I gushed.
"We might have a small party, but we have many drinks and gifts." Rebekah told me.
I turned around and saw a pile of gifts next to an almost as big supply of liquor. Anything you could wish for.
"And great entertainment." Hayley added.
On cue a male stripper dressed in a police uniform came out.
"Oh my gosh guys. You are the best." I thank them.
I pull them all in for a large group hug.
"Is she always like this?" Hayley asked.
"Yeah, you get used to it." Emily answered.
We all laughed and separated ways.
"Let's open a drink." I shout earning a cheer from the girls.
Rebekah opens a random bottle and hands us each one. I take a sip of mine and immediately overwhelmed.
"What is this?" I ask Rebekah.
She looks at the bottle then says,
"It's Balkan 176 vodka. Here let my switch you." Rebekah said.
I quickly and agreed. I take of my new drink and am definitely more satisfied.
"You are the bride, right?" The police officer asks.
"Yes, but your serves are need elsewhere." I say, pointing to Hayley.
"I don't know if I should be offended or grateful." Hayley chuckled.

"Cake!" I drunkly yelled.
"I want cake too...and icecrrrream...and sprinkles." Emily added, laying on the floor.
"Where's Hayley." Rebekah asked.
"With Mr. Sexy no pants." Emily blurted out making me and Rebekah giggle.
"I still want cake. I'm gonna order some." I said, getting up.
I pick up my phone and dial the first number on my phone.
Phone conversation
Caroline: Helllloooo.
Klaus: Caroline?
Caroline: *giggle* Yup.
Klaus: Are you drunk?
Caroline: Never.
Klaus: Mhm. Now why did you call.
Caroline: I want cake.
Klaus: you'll get some at our wedding tomorrow.
Caroline: Oh yeah, we're getting married tomorrow.
Klaus: I do hope so
Caroline: You don't need to worry. I love you.
Klaus: I love you too.
Caroline: Now I must go and get cake.
Klaus: Very well, be safe.
Caroline: No promises.
End of phone conversations
I enter back in the room and lay next to Emily and Rebekah.
"Where's the cake?" Emily asked.
I was about to answer when Hayley walked in the room.
"Right here, miss drunk." Hayley said, handing both Emily and me a piece of cake.
Hayley then lays on the other side of Rebekah.
I turn toward my friends that felt more like family now.
"I love you guys." I whispered.
"I love you too." They murmured back.
Im getting married tomorrow.
I'm getting married tomorrow.
And I couldn't be happier.
