(Sans P.O.V.)
I was at home in me and paps trailer feeding pap his spaghetti. He was talking about his day at the day care and how he was having fun with all his friends which makes me happy that he's having a good time with others. When I went and got the mail I saw there was a acceptance letter for me when I read it I saw I was accepted for the college job the lab that dad works at so that'll be interesting. Later I put Papy to bed and went to my bed and went to sleep
~Enter dream~
I was in the lab as a kid again. I must be reliving a memory in a dream again. I was walking around in the dark looking for a light source or a switch until I saw a glowing blue light coming from a giant test tube and inside was an angel that lived in the water. She looked like a kid my age and so I approached her. She looked startled at my presence but quickly got comfortable with me.
"Hi there kid what are you doing in here?"
"I have you know I'm your age and I live here."
She giggled which I thought it was a cute sound,
"What's your name?"
"Frisk"
"That's nice, my names sans."
She smiled brightly and I felt heat rise to my face because of it. For about an hour we talked and enjoyed ourselves until I heard a familiar older and calm voice,
"Sans..."
I turned and saw dad he had his hand out for me to grab and when Frisk saw him she jumped or pushed away from the glass and looked nervous almost scared. I wondered why. I grabbed his hand and he started moving towards the exit. I looked back and frisk was back at the glass and she looked sad, she put her hand on the glass as if asking for me to come back.
"Sans.... do not come back her again until your ready or older...-"
His eyes looked down at me,
"-understand."
"Yes."

~Exit Dream~
I woke up from the dream and see that I'm still in bed I look around and see papy still asleep. Lately I've been having that dream over and over each night and I don't know why. I still don't remember how I got to that lab but I remember it existed now and that girl... Frisk.... I have this feeling that I'll see her soon or something. I just..... I just want to see her again but this time not in a dream.
When morning came I made breakfast for the two of us and got pap ready for daycare. He held my hand as we walked to the day care and was jumping like he was playing hop scotch, at some moments he would pull my hand to speed me up to catch up to him and I'd chuckle each time he would,
"SO TODAY YOUR STARTING YOUR WORK AT THE LAB DAD WORKS AT?"
"Yep"
"I WISH I COULD BE THERE WITH YOU AND DAD!"
"Hey it's ok maybe someday you'll work in that lab with us and it'll be great."
"YEAH BECAUSE EVERYTHINGS GREAT WHEN THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS AROUND!"
"That's right!"
We got to the day care and I saw Tori waving to us. I let go of papys hand and he ran in to play with the other kids.
"Hey Tori."
"Hello Sans how is everything?"
"Good. How's things with Asgore?"
"Great! In fact *sniffle* we're going to have a little one!"
She cried happy tiers with a smile,
"That's great! I'm happy for you guys! Oh I almost forgot I got a job at the lab where my dad works."
"That's wonderful well I won't hold you up hope you have a good day sans!"
"Thanks"
I started heading towards the lab following the directions on my phone to the address. It's weird. The closer I got the more I felt my soul get warmer full of life but for what it's just a job......
Oh my god. When I got to the lab it looks exactly like the one from my dreams... which means.... I start running until I finally found it. There she was in the same test tube. She looked older but still young and.... beautiful,
"Frisk??"
She was floating through the tube with her eyes closed she looked she was relaxing until she heard me. Her eyes snapped open and looked at me. The moment she saw me she swam towards me but was stopped by the glass. She didn't slam into it but she stopped and put her hands on it,
"Sans!!!!"
She looked so happy. I'd give anything to keep her in that mood forever. Wait what am I saying... am I.... am I falling for her?? As I walked to her my soul started thumping louder and louder almost like a heart and was shaking like I was scared to trip and embarrass myself to death. When I got to the tube I placed my hand on its surface and she moved hers to where mine was mimicking my hands position. We smiled at each other then I heard alphys my dads lab assistant speak,
"Y-you must b-be t-the-e new g-guy."
"Don't worry alphys I know you stopped stuttering since you started dating Undyne."
Yeah. That's why she was stuttering people. Too embarrassed with everyone knowing she likes Undyne and let's say she still likes to keep impressions {that's how I made for just this one}.
"Oh thank god I don't know how long I'd last. But hey sans it's good to see you got the job!"
"Yeah thanks so what do we do exactly?"
"Well right now we're studying Frisk over there and see the development of her into a complete human being with a fully powered Determined soul. It's still a work in progress even after all these years because the human body and soul is still a big mystery."
"Ok. Makes sense since me and frisk met when we were kids-"
"YOU REMEMBER?!?!"
Frisk squeeze inside the tube with happiness,
"Of course. Why, did you think I forgot about you?"
I would be losing to myself if I told myself that.. it's just been so long and now I regret forgetting her...
"Well yeah cause it's been so long..."
Is she reading my thoughts?!
After some talking dad came in congratulating me on being able to work here and able to see Frisk again...
After that day I began my work on testing frisk,
We grew close became even better friends quickly,
We caught up with everything... I told about Papy and life after we met and things like college,
Her tests were coming up either average or above average so we were making progress,
There was also those real fun times where we'd have fun like messing with each other, and daring each other to do things that others would find very funny,
And as time went my little crush for evolved to love to the point where I have a difficult time not blushing in her presence....
But then the days came where she started failing the tests. We didn't tell her so she would force herself to overwork and try to pass them.
Alphys and dad slowly walked to me as I was going over things trying to find something that went wrong,
"Sans... we're sorry but... we have to start over which means.... she has to be put down-"
"NO!"
I interrupted Alphys who looked like she's about to say goodbye to a friend which is true her and frisk grew to be great friends..... But now as good as me and frisk. No one is taking my frisk... But that's not the point,
"Sans we can't keep her alive we don't have any more test tubes for her to be in and two human clones can't be in the same tube, one would contaminate the other and there won't be enough space-"
"I DON'T CARE!!! IM NOT LETTING YOU SEPARATE ME FROM HER AGAIN!!! NOT LIKE ALL THOSE YEARS WHERE YOU WOULDN'T LET ME COME BACK IN HERE BASICALLY BANNING ME FROM THIS LAB UNTIL NOW!!! I'VE BEEN AWAY FROM HER FOR SO LONG I EVEN FORGOT HER UNTIL ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE I STARTED WORKING HERE!!! Where she was.... in my.... dreams..... *sob* I couldn't live with myself when I realized I forgot her..."
"You love her don't you."
It was more a statement than a question. I nodded as I was looking down crying that they'll kill Frisk.... I don't care if they rip out my soul or kill me just not her... I felt dad put his hand on my shoulder and I glanced at it,
"Go home sans... and come back tomorrow and what needs to be done will be done..."
I yanked myself away from his hold despising him now for what a cold person he is. Tomorrow won't just be the first day with frisk disposed of, no it'll also be the day I quit.
The day came I walked into the lab with a little hope that they didn't actually do it. I see the familiar blue light radiating off the floor of the lab my hope rises and I quickly run to the test tube... but it plummeted seeing it filled with the familiar blue glowing liquid but... it was empty.... They actually did it... they actually killed her... Frisk is gone.... the one person I would ever truly love is GONE!!! I started tearing up until I heard a door open and I glance to see dad walk in with alphys by his side both smiling. Dad sees me and greets,
"Oh good morning sans. So you ready for today-"
"YOU BASTARD!!"
I summon a big Gaster blaster ready to burn the fucker to ash instead of dust. Alphys jumped quickly becoming scared and moved behind dad for protection which is good, peeking out enough to see what's going on. My left eye was ablaze in purple flame. Dads expression went from happy to cold and serious.
"Calm down sans-"
"NO I WILL NOT CALM DOWN!! YOU KILLED MY ONE TRUE LOVE AND ILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!!!"
I charged the blaster it's mouth opening to release the energy it had held up inside onto the two murderers in front of it. Until a voice stopped me,
"NOO STOOOP!!"
I snapped standing up straight and looked over to see Frisk balancing herself on the tube for support. She was wearing her usual attire such as white bra and white underwear {I just can't type panties... IT MAKES ME FEEL DIRTY OK!!}. How. How is this possible she doesn't have the body parts to be able to breath the air...
"F-Frisk?"
I started tearing up. Saddened that I miss her so much that there's now an illusion here messing with me,
"Yes sans its me.. Now stop your starting to s-scare me..."
She said. I find myself listening to her and dispelling the Gaster blaster and letting my tears go free and loose. I started crying as I walked to her and she calmed me down with soothing words along to way to where I was in front of her hiccuping a little,
"P-prove it..."
"What?😑"
She said making blank face she does sometimes when something ridiculous is told to her,
"Y-yeah prove I-it."
"😑"
She continued making that face as she grabbed a metal mop that was next to her and pulled it to where it was standing straight and let it go letting it flop onto the floor making clatter sounds. I wide eyed at her actions and I heard dad sigh,
"You know you didn't have to do that you could've just touched or hugged him."
"Well he'd probably think his sense of touch is lying to him Wing Ding."
"Its mr.Wing Ding to you you lady."
He mumbled getting all grumpy. But if he can see and talk to her then SHES ALIVE!!! I was gonna tackle her in a hug but then a question popped in my head,
"Wait how are outside the test tube and alive?"
"I'll answer that.-"
Alphys said finally joining the conversation,
"We had her go under surgery inside the test tube though we lowered the amount Liquid oxygen {I'm just gonna call it that... IT SOUNDS SCIENCEY OK!!!} to where we could do the work and not have our vision clouded with bloo- YOU KNOW WHAT FORGET THAT!! Anyways we then did some organ replacement and all that nasty stuff and now she has lungs."
"Don't we have a hospital room here where liquid oxygen can be pumped into her as you do this?"
"*sigh* That's being funded for right now-"
Dad said as he rubbed the sides of his would have been nose bridge and voice full of irritation,
"Which by the way you should say thank you to alphys she had to go through the slow annoying process of scuba gear."
"Oh no don't thank me thank Gaster he's the one that proposed this arrangement."
"Well thank you to both of you but dad why did you do that?"
"Why? Well it's simple really *chickle* you two are connected. I was able so see what you two as kids couldn't.... your souls were connecting linking as they were made to. And that only happens when soulmates meet. I knew that she would be basically the most important person in your life that if is taken... no on would ever be the same or like her or even compete with her."
He said with a happy/proud smile,
"What makes you so sure?"
"Experience my son... Experience."
When he said the last word a lone tear went down his face........ mom.........
"....ok."
"Also we'll continue to use Frisk for research on humans and well now that she has lungs. We'll be doing outside the tubes."
"But didn't she fail the resent tests?"
"Well I may have gotten even more distracted by something (or someone) than before so I didn't really try. Heh heh 😅. Also there's things I want to talk about with sans here.... alone..."
Frisk said making a hand gesture for alphys and dad to leave the room. They nodded and left,
"You know. I heard everything you guys said yesterday and today before I showed up. And there's a couple things I want to say to you. 1: thank you for defending me, 2:-"
She raised a fist and started lightly beating my chest with it. She wasn't strong and was actually fragile since she just started using her body strength for something other than swimming. I playfully played along and acted as if I was really getting hurt and chuckling at the same time,
"Liar,-"
"Ow ow ow *chuckle* ow."
"and 3:-"
She moved towards me stumbling and falling into me. I lightly catch her careful not to hurt her and I couldn't resist,
"Can't help but 'fall' for me huh?"
"Yep. I just can't help it...
She moved up sliding her arms up my chest and wrapped them around my neck and connected her lips to my teeth. S-SHE LIKES ME ?!?! YES!!!!! I flinched and blushed like crazy but eased into it and closed my eyes sockets and wrapped my bones arms around her waist pulling her closer. She felt so soft both skin and lips and smelled so nice. Thank god she doesn't have to go back into that tube or I'd loose my mind not being able to hold and kiss her again.... after what felt like ages we pulled apart panting a little and I finally said it,
"I love you Frisk"
"I love you too Sans"
"*fanfirls and screeches insanely*!!!!!"
We both sighed at the same time and spoke in unison,
"DAMN IT ALPHYS!!!!!!!!!!!"
