until our ankles are sore.

so we won’t have to leave the house for a week.
Let’s tattoo each others names on our asses,
and run on ice.
Let’s steal bowling shoes,
and make art out of dross.
Let’s unplug the phone lines,
and use only cups and string.
Let’s make a kingdom out of pillows,
and swing on chairs.
Let’s watch movies on mute,
so we can write our own script.
Let’s get lost in the sheets,
and write songs only we’ll hear.
Let’s fall asleep in parks,
and buy antique furniture.
Let’s open a coffee shop.
Let’s go to the airport,
without a destination in mind,
and buy the first two tickets on the next plane out.
Let’s paint artworks straight onto the wall,
instead of hanging canvases.
Let’s start friendships with foreign people,
and make our own clothes.
Let’s get lost in unfamiliar cities,
and not ask for assistance.
Let’s get used to the sound of traffic,
and buy only the most hideous sweaters.
Let’s watch foreign movies,
and drink as much coffee as possible.
Let’s talk to the homeless,
and teach each other new things.
Let’s dress a certain color depending on the day of the week.
Let’s sit on the edge of the cliffs,
and climb trees.
Let’s enjoy the things that are normally hated,
and let’s live hand-in-hand.
