Jiya's pov:
Life has been full of bliss for me in this three months. I can never imagine my life better than this. It's all because of my love, my life, my husband Maan.
Being only child of my parents I never knew how it feels to have siblings but now I have two sisters and one brother and it feels too good. Zaan, Maahi and Aliya have become my siblings.
Yes it's shocking but After Aliya returned from her friend's marriage She is changed person. She talked with me nicely now we have become close. Maahi also become part of our life. Mostly we go on outings. It's really fun. I have come to know many things from them.
Maan agreed for me on doing MBA. Me and Aliya both cleared the test and now applied for colleges. Hope we both get selected in same college.
Recently she told me that she want to share a secret with me. She has a boyfriend and she wants me to meet him and then convince Ammi and Maan. I agreed. She was quite sure that I will like him.
Zaan and Maahi are always fighting. Sometimes I feel like they both have some unknown bond. I want them to get together. I thought of talking to Maan about it then I thought Maahi is still young. Let's wait for a while.
Adeel my dear friend is on cloud9. He is in love with some girl from years but she rejected him but now they both are in love. Now he want me to help him as he helped me to make Maan jealous. Not to make her Jealous but to convince her parents.
Ammi had been helping me in becoming a good house wife. I am learning cooking from her since three months and today first time I am cooking food alone for all. All Maan's favorite dishes. I am little nervous but I am trying my best.
Salina called me yesterday and told me that she is coming to India tomorrow and she wants to meet me. I thought of inviting her to home but I have to talk with Maan about this.
I am not feeling good these days. I feel nauseous. I get tired easily. Sometimes I feel like crying without any reason. My mood swings are becoming worse. Maan noticed this but I told him that I might be suffering from flu. Now feel like it's something else. I am suspecting that I might be pregnant but I don't want to tell anyone before confirming because last time I thought I was pregnant and I told everyone but then test result was negative. Everyone was very disappointed. I felt really bad seeing their sad faces so this time I don't want to repeat same mistake.
Everyone came and sat for dinner and I set the table.
I asked Ammi, Maahi and Aliya to not tell Maan that I prepared food and they agreed.
Maan looked at the dishes and said, "Biryani, kheer, gajar ka haluwa. Wow all my favorites. Is today something special that I forgot?"
He ate first bite and I was anxiously waiting for his response.
His eyes widened then he looked at Ammi and said, "It's delicious Ammi but it tastes different from usual Who prepared this?"
Ammi said, "Guess"
Maan said, "Aliya?"
Ammi shook her head in no.
Maan said, "Maahi?"
Ammi said, "No"
Maan said, "Then who? Have someone sent it?"
Ammi said, "Don't you think you missed someone?"
Maan kept a face as if he is thinking then he said, "Who? Zaan? But he was with me in office."
I am getting irritated now. He took everyone name except mine.
Ammi said, "Not Zaan idiot. Think once again"
Maan then looked at me and said, "Don't tell me it's Jiya."
Ammi said, "Yes. It's Jiya. It's tasty na. I know my student is too good. I succeeded as master. I am so happy"
Maan said, "Now if I think about it. I think salt is less. Masala is also less. Oil is also less. It feels more like fried rice compared to Biryani."
I glared at him. How dare he? I worked so hard for him but he tried to find faults instead of encouraging me.
I took plate from infront of him and said, "Then don't eat it. We will order Biryani for you from outside."
Maan looked shocked and he tried to take plate from my hands but I didn't allow him then he said,"Oh come on. I am hungry. I can manage with this today. "
I said," No you are not getting a spoon of food I made. I will order for you. It will be here in 30 minutes. Till then you can manage."
Maan looked at Ammi.
Ammi said, "I am not interferring between husband and wife"
He stood up and left from there.
I can see Ammi getting worried but I sighed her that I will take care of him.
In this three months I have seen different sides of Maan. He teases me. Gets angry with me. Scolds me. It seems like he is more comfortable with me noe. Before I have seen only his care and love but now I can see different shades of him. He is also kid from inside. He plays pranks on me. Trick me but when I cry he can't tolerate.
It's like every day I am seeing a new side of him. He is like a puzzle Which will take a life time for me to solve and I am loving and curious to know more about him.
Zaan said, "Food is really nice Jiya."
Aliya said, "Yes it's very tasty"
Maahi said, "It's too good"
Ammi said, "I am proud of you. It's too delicious"
After everyone left for their room. I took food for Maan.
When I entered room I saw him sitting on bed sulking.
When he saw me He turned his face to other side indicating he is angry.
I placed plate in front of him and said, "Please have food Maan."
Maan said, "I don't want to have."
I said, "I ordered it from your favorite place"
Maan said, "I said I am not hungry."
I said, "Please it will go waste."
Maan said, "No"
I took rice in spoon and placed it near his mouth and said, "Please. It's not good to say no to food
."
He sighed and took food in his mouth and said, "It's not from hotel"
I said, "It's made by your wife with love for her husband. You have to eat it."
He smiled and said, "It's too delicious. Out of world and I everyday want to have food made by you."
Now it's my turn to play.
I said, "No need to lie Maan. You already told what you feel about my food. I never gonna cook again."
He said, "I was just kidding. Please forgive your stupid husband."
I said, "No. There is nothing to forgive. I am not a good cook I know that"
He looked worried as he saw my sad face. I fell deeper for him whenever I see concern in his eyes for me. He just can't see me sad.
He said, "I am sorry. Please. It's really fantastic. Trust me. I swear I really love it."
I said, "Really?"
He said, "Yes"
Then he asked me, "Have you eaten your food?"
I shook my head in no.
He sighed and fed me but I suddenly felt nauseous and ran to washroom.
Maan came behind me. Holded my hair back and rubbed my back.
He said, "Are you okay?"
I said, "Yes"
But I suddenly felt dizzy and was about to fall down when Maan caught me and pick me up in his arms and laid me on bed.
He said,"You don't look good. I will call doctor "
I said," No. No. Nothing serious. I think I over did myself today. I will rest now. I will be fine by tomorrow. "
He said," If not Please let's go to doctor tomorrow. Don't cook for a while. Please take care of your health."
He lied beside me to sleep but I forced him to have food. After he had dinner. He did his night coarse then lied beside me and took me in his arms.
I never knew this will be my last time in his arms. If I would have known I would have never woken up.
Next day as usual I woke up. Switch on the heater. Pressed his clothes.
I looked at him who was sleeping peacefully on bed.
I slowly caressed his face. I never knew this will be my last time seeing him sleeping peacefully.
I woke him up, "Dear hubby. Please wake up Other wise you will be late"
He slowly opened his eyes and pulled me down to peck my lips
He said, "Good morning Sunshine."
I said, "Good morning. Now get up."
He got up and did his morning coarse then as usual I helped him to wear his tie Which was not an easy task as my sweet husband can't keep his hands off me and stand straight.
I have to talk to him about Salina.
I said, "Maan. Actually I talked with Salina and she is-"
His face hardened at the mention of her name and he said, "I don't want to hear anything about her. Please don't spoil my day by taking her name."
I sighed it will be bad idea to ask him so it's okay I will meet her outside.
I said, "Sorry. Please don't spoil your mood. I love you" I pecked his lips.
He smiled and said, "I can't be upset with you for long."
I wish it was true that he can't be upset with me for long bAut I never thought that a day will come when he will get angry with even mention of my name.
He kissed my forehead as he did everyday and said, "Bye sweet heart. See you in the evening. Love you"
I don't know why but I have a bad feeling I don't want to let him go but he left
Salina called me saying she landed.
I went to airport to meet her but she has not arrived even after 1 hour. I called her but her number is switched off.
Now I got call from her number. I lifted it immediately and said, "Where are you? I have been waiting for you for so long"
A voice came from other side, "Not more than me"
I was terrified by listening to him. It was Sameer.
He said, "Hi Jiya. Long time no see"
I said, "You? But T-this is Salina's n-"
Sameer said, "Yes it's her number. For now she is safe with me. If you want it to stay this way then you have to do as I say."
I said, "How can I trust you that she is actually with you."
He laughed and said, "Not so innocent like before. My Jiya"
I cringed when he said 'my'
I said,"I am not yours"
He said, "You will be soon. As for the proof Check your mobile. I just sent you a video. Don't even think of going to police. I will kill her then I will kill myself. You will only be responsible for her death."
I looked at the video. Salina is tied to chair. Sameer is standing beside her.
Tears started flowing from my eyes and I said, "Why are you doing this?"
He said, "I love you"
I said, "Please Sameer don't do this. You are not bad person. Please"
He said, "I know I am not bad. Whatever I am doing is for us so stop this melodrama and listen what you have to do if not then be ready to lose your friend. "
After hearing Whatever he said I felt like I will lose everything today.
