Oh and if you are making them related to some one...and you have them date their friend.
Boi my first thought after kissing someone wouldn't be "oh no bob will be mad"
Or making them the younger sibling
the older sibling doesn't control them
I've seen it where the younger sister is being told what to do by the older brother all the time and she has no control.
She can't date
Be late to something
Drive herself
Walk alone
Like why would you listen to your older sibling
And it's with characters who would be protective of their siblings but they wouldn't be a helicopter...like
