Jaeden and i have spent 2 hours sitting in his room discussing what we are going to do while our parents are gone, eating pizza, and playing random games.
"okay, so we already know that we have to switch between houses everyday because that is a tradition." I said.
"ya obviously." Jaeden replied.
"so what are we going to do today?" i asked.
"well, i was thinking we just chill and watch a movie or something. i mean we couldn't do anything on the list even if we wanted to because there isn't enough time." he replied.
"okay lets go downstairs." i said in a weird accent which made both of us laugh.
Jaeden got off of his chair and i hopped off his bed. i ran ahead of him and was about to walk downstairs when i felt a hand grab my wrist. i turned around to face Jaeden who had a smug face.
"what's wrong?" i questioned.
"you don't think i'm gonna let you pick the movie, right?" he chuckled.
last time we had a movie night i picked The fault in our stars. That resulted in me crying uncontrollably but Jaeden didn't like when i cried. it made him feel really bad even if he wasn't the one who caused me cry.
"well im gonna be the first one down so i will end u-" i was cut off by Jaeden swooping me up and carrying me bridal style. he picked me up, ran to his room, and threw me on his bed. He then continued to run downstairs.
"Jaeden im gonna kill you!"
i bolted out of his room and down the stairs. i was pretty fast considering the fact that i was on the cross country team when i went to school. i caught up with him and tackled him down. we were both laughing uncontrollably. i knew that Jaeden was stronger than me and he could simply break free. He did just that. he started to tickle me and i began laughing like a psychopath. i was grasping for air and he realized so he got off me, stood up, and held his hand out to help me up. he pulled me up and we made our way to his kitchen. Jaeden had a huge kitchen much like mine and he had speakers so that his mom could listen to music while cooking. He walked over to the speakers and turned them on before slowly turning to face me.
"first, want some sweet tunes?" he said in a deep voice.
i laughed and nodded in response. he turned back around and plugged the aux cord into his phone. he thought long and hard before what looked like an idea popped inside his head. he clicked on a song and turned the volume up. i paused before i realized what he was playing.
"OH MY GOD JAEDEN I LOVE THIS SONG!" i exclaimed.
"yeah i remembered." he chuckled.
He was playing "Chamber of reflection" by Mac Demarco, which was one of my FAVORITE if not FAVORITE songs ever. i started dancing around like a maniac. i didn't have to care what people were going to think of me, when i was around Jaeden. He never judged me or offended me (on purpose) and it was always fun to be around. we danced around and sang the lyrics until our throats hurt. the song was done and we both let out a fit of laughter. it was a perfect moment and nothing could ruin it...... so i thought. my phone went off from a notification, sombody had texted me. i opened it and saw that it was my boyfriend. Dylan and i have dated for 5 months now and it is amazing. he was such an amazing person to me. he was the only person who cared about me and how i felt other than Jaeden.
"who is it?" Jaeden asked.
"Its dylan!" i said cheerfully.
Jaeden frowned and and nodded. Jaeden didn't like Dylan. he thought that Dylan was just another one of those guys who uses girls. he never forced me out of the relationship though, because he knew that wouldn't be nice.
"im gonna grab the popcorn." he said before walking away.
i shrugged and then looked at the text.
Dylpickle: hey bb what are you doing?
YOU: nothing, im just hanging with Jaeden, why?
Dylpickle: oh uh hold on im getting another text
YOU: ok
Dylpickle: Hey Anna, i didn't expect Y/N to reply to the text. god shes so annoying. il break up with her soon. dw
YOU: fuq did you just say to me?
Dylpickle: Wait Y/N no i can explain. you weren't suppose to see that
YOU: no shit sherlock
YOU: i don't know why i ever trusted you. Jaeden was right. i hope you have fun with that hoe. bye bitch.
~Y/N HAS BLOCKED DYLAN BLAKE~
My heart was crushed. i felt so many emotions. i was mad, i was sad, i was confused, and i didnt know what to do. my eyes started to water and a burning tear rolled down my cheek.
"okay we have butter, white cheddar an-" Jaeden started before turning around and looking at me.
"J-Jaeden...." i said softly
"oh my god Y/N what happened?!" Jaeden asked concerned.
"Dylan... he- HE WAS CHEATING ON ME" i shouted.
that was it. i said it and i felt so much pain and anger. i couldn't help but breakdown in tears. Jaeden ran over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist before bringing me in the most sincere hug ive ever had. i wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tightly. i didn't want to let go. He made me feel... safe. he pulled away and put his hands on my shoulders. i looked up at his blue-green eyes. he wiped a tear away from my cheek with a soft expression.
"Y/N i want you to listen to me. You are such a beautiful and amazing person. you deserve to be treated like an absolute princess by everyone. you make everybody around you feel happy just from you presence. you have the most beautiful smile in the world that could light up any room. only a jerk like Dylan wouldn't realize how much of an amazing person you are. screw him, he doesn't deserve you. do you hear me?"
I didnt know what to do at that moment. Jaeden's words made me feel so warm. every word he said was said with care. he pulled me back into a hug before pulling away and grabbing a bowl of popcorn that was already made.
"now how about we go watch the office." Jaeden said softly.
i smiled and walked to his living room. Jaeden had this giant couch that looked like a bed. we used to sleep on it as kids because it made us feel like we were "camping". we were very weird children. i hopped on the couch and he sat beside me. he placed the bowl of popcorn onto the table in front of us before going on netflix and typing in "The office" and clicking on an episode. i snugged next to him and picked a hand full of popcorn before looking at him.
"thanks Jaeden." i said.
"anything for you Y/N, you are my best friend and will always be." he smiled back.
"to infinty?" i asked shyly.
"to infinity" he replied.
Jaeden looked back at the tv and started to laugh. Jaeden's words made me feel something. it felt funny like.... butterflies. did i like Jaeden? i brushed off the thought before shoving my handfull of popcorn in my mouth. a few episodes later, our popcorn was done and i was about to fall asleep. Jaeden set the bowl aside, turned off the tv and faced me, who was laying on his shoulder.
"Y/N? wake up" he whispered while softly nudging me.
"yeah?" i yawned.
"come lets go upstairs"
"okay just let m-" i was cut off by Jaeden wrapping his arm under me and carrying me up the stairs and into his room.
"thanks but you didnt have to" i chuckled.
"its ok, you are as light as a feather" he teased.
Jaeden walked over to his closet and pulled out a t shirt. and tossed it to me.
"here you can wear this. oh do you need any shorts?"
"no its ok, the ones im wearing are pretty comfy." i replied.
I went to the bathroom and changed into his shirt. it was baggy on me but i liked it. i was about to brush my teeth then i realized that this wasn't my bathroom.
"JAEDEN WHERE ARE YOUR EXTRA TOOTHBRUSHES!" i yelled through the door.
"LOOK IN THE CABINET ABOVE THE SINK!(Sadie Sink hehe)" he yelled back.
i finished brushing my teeth and put my hair into a messy bun with the hair tie that was on my wrist. i walked out the bathroom to see Jaeden shirtless wearing pajama bottoms. i awkwardly laughed at his skinny yet muscular body. he quickly put on his shirt before apologizing.
"sorry, i didnt know you were going to be so quick" he shyly said
"its ok jaeden, ive seen you shirtless before. remember when we went to the beach?" i chuckled.
"oh ya, ok then nevermind."
I made my way to his bed and got under the blanket. i dont know what obsession they had with furniture but every piece of furniture they had was gigantic. i can't complain though.i waited for him to brush his teeth and come back out. he was about to get a sleeping bag but i stopped him.
"hey Jaeden?"
"yeah Y/N?" he turned around.
"can you umm..... can you lay down with me?" i asked shyly.
he smiled his cute little smile and nodded before walking to his bed. i scooted over to make room, even though you could probably fit 5 people on the bed. he got under the blanket we faced each other and i couldn't help but get lost in his eyes. they were so beautiful.
"goodnight Jaeden." i said while yawining.
my eyes started to close and i was slowly falling into slumber.
"goodnight Y/N" Jaeden said before kissing my forehead and dozing off to sleep. i smiled uncontrollably before going to bed having Jaeden be the last thing on my mind.
