Dear Diary,
Today is definitely the best day of my life. A day I will never forget. My beautiful daughter, Adelaide, was born. She's gorgeous! I can't stop looking at her diamond blue eyes, they sparkle, her light brown hair is so soft. I suspect she was born with "it" too. God be with my little girl for as long as she lives. I love you Adelaide.

That was a page from my mother's diary that she kept. I have my life till I was 17 documented in those very pages. I loved my life back then. Now I'm stuck at age 17. But I'm not the only member in my family which was born like this.There are only 10 people like me and we form a group called The Ancestors. We formed this group a few years after the seventh member was born. It's called The Ancestors because each person is an ancestor of the Davies family way back to the 1500's when the first person was ever born immortal.

Her name is Margery, born 31st April 1556. The second oldest of us all is Miles, born 24th September 1599. After Miles, there is Mathilda, born 16th July 1616. Almost a century after, Henry was born on 21st December 1713. A few years later, before me, Luke was born on the 19th of February 1798. Then I was born in 1855. Then in 1910 on 23rd March, my best friend Jessie was born. In 1957, Tommy was born on the 25th January . Then Laura in 1996, on the 15th of May and finally the most recent, Victoria , born in 2009 on the 31st of November.
Our main goals aren't too complicated... but they're not easy to achieve. We have a special meeting place where each week we gather in that spot to figure out how to get out of this mess. Even though we are immortal that doesn't mean we don't experience pain or death. We're just reborn as the same person in that same spot we meet in each week. We figured we could get a lead since there's something very special about that spot. It's also the reason how we formed the group. During the war we were killed plenty of times so we always kept ending up there. We found each other like that and stuck together from that point on. We know how it is that we ended up living forever... but that's another story that I'd rather not speak about at this point in time, but you'll find out ;-). We also know how we can be mortal but the remedy isn't easy to access, or how to find for that matter. It's a portal... we don't know where it leads to, we just know that's the key to getting out of this nightmare.
