If I had of known that it would have turned out like this...Who am I kidding, I knew it would turn out like this. For once, even at the most crucial times of my youth, I still thought I was right about everything, giving my all at what came my way no matter how large it was. The look in her eyes was unmistakable, something that I could most definitely never erase. The sheer disgust, embarrassment, anger even, it was all readable upon her doll-like face.
Hearing footsteps, I raised my head to hear a news report playing in the background, its volume gradually increasing as the footsteps neared.

I was too exhausted to even answer Donnie, never mind to look at what he was interested in this time, probably some pointless invention that will never see the lights of day, only the dim UV's we had pinned up on nearly every wall.
'I was researching around the reporter that had been snooping around (name's) back garden to see if he found anything remotely important and-'
'I don't want to hear it Donnie. Leave.' My anger rose, I was normally able to control my inner urges but I guess that heartbreak really does the trick. Not bothering to look up to meet my brother's gaze, I waited through the stunned silence, probably at cause of my sudden outburst.
'So...You don't want to hear about what I found then, not even if it involves a certain (hair colour) leaving the country?'
I couldn't have heard him right, leaving? (name)...Leaving? Why was she leaving? She never told me about any tours, she said they were all done for the year until next August for their surprise comeback. Why would she leave?
Raising to my feet too quickly, I stumbled backwards slightly as my vision was clouded by those all too familiar black splodges.

I got up, brushing past Donnie's slumped shoulders and walked through the entrance to the lair, following the winding passageways through the sewers.

What was I supposed to do now, I've been out on the rooftops for so long and now the sun is up. I guess I'll have to just stay up here till it goes down again, hidden. That's where I belong, away from the sun, away from the eyes of the public. I wouldn't even listen if I was given' another choice. My phone was blowing up big time, I just couldn't bring myself to answer it, the only thing I'd get from that is an earful from captin' fearless.
I sat down against a roof vent, the curve actually covered me from the sun enough to cast a shadow over my body, maskin' what I was. What. I would give anything to be human, she was probably feeling sick with what I said.
Now I know what they were feeling when I watched those sickly love movies with Master Splinter, the break up in the rain, the emptiness. I don't even think I was too caught up about being rejected when I was telling her about my feelin's. I was too excited about the future..What I wouldn't give to hold her in my arms...Her skin on mine..
I rose my gaze to the now setting sun, had I been here that long? I slowly raised myself to my feet, I was exhausted, staggerin' slightly till I had a firm grasp on the vent. Pulling out my phone, Leonardo's name filled the screen, 56 calls...42 messages, and two voice mails. I even had emails, I figured that'd be from Donnie, like captin' fearless could write an email.
Just before I made the jump down to the street, I caught sight of one of those billboard TV lookin' things that they broadcast the news on, but what got me more was the photo that they were broadcasting. It was (name), dressed in my baggy hoodie that I gave her. Her hair was in a messy bun and she was shuffling towards what looked to be a private jet. Scooting closer to the edge of the building, I trained my concentration on the pixelated screen.

If I had of moved any closer to the edge, I woulda' been falling to my death sooner than I would have liked. That's it then, I've drove her off. I couldn't even remember makin' my way towards the sewers but before I could even realize, I was greeted by the familiar sticky stench of the pipes.

There was no way she was going to believe that, absolutely no way she was ever going to believe that. I have not regretted much in my life, but now I am wishing that I could invent a time traveling machine just to go back to that moment, make it like it was. What was I thinking, I am never going to get to the level of time transportation, I mean I struggled with a hover board. I am reaching way out of my depths, kind of like what I have done with (name).
Maybe that's why she was taking her time to reply, she thinks I'm dumb? Wait, there's a more logical explanation for this, how about the fact that I am a six foot freaking mutant turtle. Did I think that she was just going to skim over that part? Take it with a pinch of salt and everything would be fine in the morning, I probably disgusted her beyond belief. I mean look at me, not only am I a mutant but I was trying to woo a person that is adored by millions, to say she is out of my league is an understatement.
I huffed a sigh of frustration, once again burning myself on my soldering iron pen before ripping it all apart and starting again. A sudden notification bell sounded from one of my monitors, mainly the one that I had created a data search on any news report that had anything to do with (name). She thanked me for it, its original use was to see if the guy that was rooting around in her trash found anything worthy of reporting, but what it showed me now was something that I would have never expected.

That's it then. Not even a goodbye, she didn't even text April at all, she's been here all day with the guys, frankly I think she was staying here to see if I was okay. She was the one that suggested texting name, mainly because she knew that I wouldn't say anything to her face.

My tears were blurring my vision, I had my board in my hand as I was trying to see where I was going. She could have just told me that she didn't want me, I guess she was just being nice. I bet she felt sorry for me, an animal, a monster. Something that she wouldn't be caught dead with never mind being in a relationship with. I wiped my eyes on my hoodie again for what felt like the 100th time before the hidden doors in front of me opened. I was met with five worried pairs of eyes, staring straight at me, the rejected cry baby.
Behind them the TV was playing full blast, they looked as if I had disrupted them as they turned their attention back to the stark white screen, a male voice sounded from the speakers, so much so that I had no choice but to listen.
