I'm torn
In ways I don't truly understand.
Torn, yet whole again,
Why do I feel so empty? So cold?
Feeling homeless in my own home,
Inside my own body,
Inside my own head.
The monster rattles her chains and quakes the bars,
She growls at me? Growls at her? Growls at all of us...
And she wants is to escape but does she know where? Escape to do what? What does she want?
