When I woke up the next morning, I was soooo excited - more exited than getting my results back from school. I got up and during breakfast, Mum said "Hermione, you must say goodbye to your friends. It is nearly September 1, and tomorrow, your father and I will take you to get your school supplies".
"Okay Mum" I replied, before saying goodbye and meeting my friends. It was time -time to tell them that I'd be going to another school.
We always met in the library, but today I wanted to go somewhere.special. "Hey Katrina, Stephanie and Delequin" I said.
"Hey Hermione" they responded in unison.
"I see you three are still acting like triplets" I said with a laugh. I then continued "Anyway, I have something to tell you three, and I was wondering if perhaps we could go somewhere special?"
"Sure. Where do you have in mind?" asked Stephanie.
"You'll see" I replied. I then walked out of the library and headed towards my Nan and Pop's house with my friends following me. Once there, I said hi to Nan and Pop, and Nan gave us some mnm cookies. I then went to my treehouse, climbed up it, and gestured for Katrina, Stephanie and Delequin to follow.
"Wow", Delequin sighed, "This place is amazing".
"Welcome to my treehouse" I said, whilst handing out the cookies.
We ate our cookies in peace and after, Stephanie asked me "Can you make cookies as good as your Nan, cause these are delicious".
"Not as good, but good enough" I said with a slight chuckle.
"Anyway, what did you need to tell us?" Stephanie asked.
"Well... I'm...umm...moving schools" I said nervously.
"YOU'RE WHAT?!" they shouted
"Moving schools - to another boarding school".
"Why?" Katrina questioned
"Well it is a better educated school than the academy, and Mum and Dad want me to go. And I'm actually looking forward to it" I replied.
"Will we still see you over the summer holidays?" Katrina asked me.
"Definitely" I responded.
We then sat in my treehouse, reading and playing truth or dare, whilst eating cookies. We then headed home, after saying our thanks to my Nan and Pop.
