A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.

Her eyes stayed glued to the rising object, and (f/n) could feel her heart pounding rapidly in her chest. She wanted to move and run out of the bathroom, but the covered floor would surely prevent her from doing that. One slip or one mistake and she could end up with several knives in her. Frankly, her will to live was still present, and she didn't wish to bleed out to death in an escape attempt.

Still, the knife that was coming ever closer to the top of the shower wasn't giving her much promise either. So when the knife was at the top of the shower, matters only became worse. It hovered in the air on the other side of the bathtub. A second passed, and it dropped.

A large splash occurred, sending particles of water onto her and into her hair. Her scream sounded in the bathroom, as she pulled her knees even nearer to her chest. Now, though, she couldn't move them back any further. Additionally, she was pressed up against the back of the tub. There was nowhere to go that wouldn't prove dangerous.

Another knife soon rose into the air, carrying out the same motions as the last. She didn't want to see it fall into the bathtub with her; she didn't want to acknowledge its existence. So, she laid her face on her knees and shut her eyes tight. Its splash hit her as well. (F/n) made sure to keep her feet close, not desiring one of her toes to get caught in the next knife's descent.

At least she presumed there to be another one, and she was proven right by another spray of water impacting her face and hair. This process continued until she felt something prick her left big toe, and a slight pain follow. She opened her eyes and stared at her left foot. One of the knives, in the now small pile of them, had slid off of the pile and pressed into her skin a bit.

The red liquid dispersed into the water, a small stream of it flowing into the bath water. Another knife dropped onto the pile, and this caused another knife to slip off. It slid along the porcelain base and went to hit her left foot again. She moved her foot in time, but only because she had stood up. There was more room between the knives and her now, but that would only last so long. Besides, her back was still pressed up against the back shower wall.

Looking to her left, she could see that there were openings on the bathroom floor now. Still, if she slipped, she could land onto one of the knives that remained on the tiles. Her wet feet and injured toe wouldn't make the escape easier. Then again, did she really want to stay in the tub full of knives? No, she desired to get out of the bathroom and bandage up her toe. Mainly, she just wished to leave the current room and go into another.

Focusing back on the pile of knives in the bathtub, she saw another one drop into the pile. Sooner or later, they would cover the base of the tub. It was like watching an hourglass. Sadly, she wasn't just dealing with dropping sand.

Taking a deep breath and exhaling, she reached her left hand out and gripped the shower door. She ripped it open, and a loud bang resonated in the space. (F/n) wanted to run out, but she probably would've slipped had she tried to do so. Thus, annoyingly, she carefully took her first steps onto the bathroom tiles. After that, she quickened her pace and headed for the exit. Surprisingly enough, nothing happened, but she kept up her guard. The being could just be waiting to attack when she least expected it.

When her feet hit the hallway carpet, however, she was stunned. The thing hadn't stopped her in the slightest, but she didn't want to see those knives anymore. So, she shut the bathroom door and went off into the kitchen for a band-aid. Not shockingly, the knives in the kitchen were gone. Why, though, had the entity made no move to stop her? She could still hear water splashing in the bathroom. It was unnerving and confusing.

In case the situation changed, though, she hurried to tend to the cut on her toe. Once it was bandaged, she made her way to her room, but after she had grabbed some snacks. Unfortunately, she didn't get far, as the bathroom door was thrown open. Startled, she nearly dropped the bags of food.

Deciding not to wait around for the thing to make another move, she darted for her room. A chill ran across her left arm before she was pushed backwards by a wave of air. She regained her balance but felt an immense coldness wrap around her. (F/n)'s backside received the brunt of it, as did her midsection. Small tickles of freezing air brushed against her left ear.

She refused to stand around, though. (F/n) stepped forward, and the cold against her midsection grew. Fighting against the increasing frigid sensation, she took more steps towards her room. Eventually, the feeling vanished, and she now bolted into her bedroom.

With the door banging shut, Drem remained in the hall. He supposed that the knives in the bathroom were enough, but he hadn't wanted her to move from the spot in the hallway. In fact he had even told her to stay put. Did she listen? No, she didn't. Regardless, he had calmed down.

Watching her terrified form in the bathroom was very therapeutic. The way she had huddled up in the back of the tub was exceptionally pleasing. She was so afraid that she had even closed her eyes. His little doe was probably trying to pretend that the situation before her didn't exist, that he wasn't there. Too bad for her, he wouldn't be going anywhere.

Presently, he would head into her room. He couldn't have her attempting to escape again. No, he would be more watchful and make sure that she followed him if he went to another location from this point on. With this plan set in his mind, he opened her room door and closed it behind him.

Instantly, her gaze fixed itself on where he was standing. A grin tugged at his lips, as he stared back at her. He kept his eyes on her until she looked back down at her book. After all he hadn't wanted to miss a single ounce of fear in her (e/c) eyes. It was still present, even as she read the text in her hands.

Each of her hands gripped the sides of the book, and her body shook a little. Glad to see that he was producing the proper effect, he headed further into the room and glanced to her snacks of chocolate covered popcorn and chocolate chip cookies. He took a seat next to her on the bed, and he noticed her tense up.

Keeping his focus off of her, he opened the bag of cookies and lifted one of them into the air. He had it hover right in front of her mouth. A caught off guard look crossed the little doe's countenance, as she just peered at the cookie. Drem moved it closer to her until it was touching her lips.

He rested his left hand on the back of her head, indicating for her to eat it. Clearly, she felt his icy touch, as she opened her mouth a tiny bit and went to take a bite. Before her teeth could sink into the snack, however, he flung the food item away from her and into the wall opposite them. The collision shattered the cookie into a multitude of crumbs.

His little doe frowned before she snatched the bag of cookies and placed them on her left side. A chuckle left his lips. Did she think that she could ruin his fun that easily? He blew the bag, after he closed it back up, across the bed and onto the floor. The bag of popcorn followed afterwards. Her eyes stayed on the two food items, but she made no motion to move. So, he gave her a nudge forward and tossed her book across the room as well.

Picking herself up on the bed, she sat on her knees and scanned over the area. Still, she didn't move off of the piece of furniture. Drem this time stood up and kicked her off of the bed. She fell onto the floor and muttered a few quiet curses.

Jumping off the object, he walked over to her and stood next to her. Just as she was beginning to stand up, he knocked her back down. He proceeded to use his right foot to flip her onto her back. Drem pressed the same foot on her midsection to indicate to her to stay in place.

Bringing the bag of cookies back up into the air, he crunched it together and made sure that all the cookies were now just crumbs. He unraveled it afterwards and opened the bag. Only a few moments later, he tipped the bag over her and dumped all of the cookie pieces onto her form. She swatted at them, as they landed in her hair and some even into her mouth, which she had parted in slight surprise seconds before.

If she wanted to clean up, she would have to go back into the bathroom. He could only assume that she realized this by the horrified expression that grew on her face. Well, he did leave the knives in there, so she had every reason to still be wary of the area. This only worked in his benefit, for she would wish to go into the bathroom less. His worrying, about violating her privacy at certain times, would be reduced.

"I'm not going back in there. Not anytime soon, anyway," the little doe muttered, standing up and brushing the crumbs off to the best of her ability.

Smiling at this, he answered, "All the better for me, little doe." It was pity, however, that he couldn't eat the crumbs off of her. There were some resting around her collarbone, and some had probably gone down her shirt when she had stood up.

Drem brought his right thumb up to his lips and bit on the fingernail. The idea of it being a possibility, though, infiltrated his mind, and he couldn't help but grin at it. If only he could lick even one crumb off her shoulder, he would be delighted. Tomorrow, however, would bring some new possibilities.
