"Who are you...again?" Hyun felt those very words pierce his already fragile heart. Had he heard correctly? Was his precious girlfriend actually asking who he was?
He laughed half-heartedly. "Honey...y-you can't be serious...!" His expression soon turned to one of despair and anguish. "You know who I am!"
She shook her head. "No, I don't recall. I'm sorry sir...but was I close to you?"
He broke. His heart was torn; shattered into pieces that couldn't be put backーpieces that'd ultimately fade awayーand left his heart empty. It felt as if his soul left the world; as if everything came crashing down.
His lip trembled and his hands clenched shut. No...this can't be happening! A chilling wave rushed down his spine as tears began to form.
Please...no more...
