I woke up naturally the next morning. Our room was vacated by our friends and Sebastian's spot was also empty yet warm causing me to conclude he hadn't left too long ago.
I stood up walking into the bathroom showering, brushing my teeth and dried my hair. Once I was finished I walked into our closet choosing a casual black pleated skirt, eggplant purple sweater and a white infinity scarf as the weather was beginning to cool down.
After I was dressed I went downstairs and greeted the pack members. I sat down and talked to them for a while before I realized that I haven't seen any of our friends nor my mate since I woke up.
I shrugged it of and grabbed a cup of coffee heading up to my new office to get started on my work.
I began looking at wedding dresses drawing parts of them that I liked. I also looked up the basics of a wedding dress. Once I had everything I needed I began combining everything into one beautiful unique dress.
As I was drawing someone knocked on my door before entering.
"Hey what are you doing?" Emily asked as Sebastian and our friends walked in
I looked at me computer minimizing all of the tabs and closed my sketch book "Nothing where have you all been?" I asked
"We just went... uh" Jace said
"For a run" Evan supplied
I looked at Sebastian who was looking at my sketch book. "Is that what I think it is?" He asked
"Maybe" I shrugged
"What is it?" Katie asked
I glanced at Evan trying to gage his mood before looking back at the girls "I have to design my wedding dress"
"Like draw it for someone to make?" Emily asked
I nodded "Pretty much"
"Cool can I see it?" Evan said
Everyone looked at him shocked by his enthusiasm "What's your angle?" Sebastian asked
"I'm happy for my future sister in law geez guys I'm not entirely bad" he said
"Well regardless I'm not done with it yet" I said
"Well we'll leave you alone and go to the mall or something" Sebastian said
I nodded "See you guys later"
They all left my office and I quickly finished sketching my dress before deciding to make Taniah one too.
Her dress was very easy to design and within 20 minutes I was finished. I looked over my shoulder feeling my sister's presence almost as if she was looking at my sketches. She walked over to the door of my office and stood there seemingly wanting me to follow her.
She lead me through the pack house until we reached the huge doors of the library. I opened them walking in and the slammed shut behind me.
I followed my sister over to the shelves and stopped abruptly when she stopped in front of a shelf. I looked at it to see all books on the power of magic.
A specific book called Ghosting caught my eye and I opened it. To a random page.
"Bringing a spirit back to life" I read
"You want me to bring you back to life?" I asked
The page turned and I read that only the next moon goddess could do it. "I am the next moon goddess" I told her
She did a duh gesture
I took a breath as the words warning that I could possibly die caught my eye "I could die trying this" I told her
She just looked at me and I took a breath "ok I'll do it, it's my fault you're dead the least I could do is try and bring you back"
I sat down at the table reading the book from beginning to end. I searched the shelves pulling more books that had this topic and after I finished reading I looked up at my sister.
I opened the original book that told me how to do it and read over the instructions once again. I quickly wrote a note to Sebastian just in case I died explaining what happened and why I was doing this. When I finished I set it on the table along with my engagement ring and took my sister's hand with one of mine.
I used all of my powers just as the book told me too and before my eyes my sister began to appear. I began to get a headache but afraid to stop I kept going until the instructions ended.
In front of me laid my sister. Her eyes were closed and she looked to be sleeping. Wiping the blood that was now pouring from my nose I attempted to shake her awake before darkness clouded my vision and I passed out next to her.
I woke up to the sound of yelling and an incessant beeping noise. I groaned blinking my eyes open and seeing Sebastian arguing with Evan while my friends all looked shocked and scared.
"Shut the hell up! Both of you!" My voice yelled except I didn't say anything
"What the actual fuck?" I said sitting up
Sebastian and Evan stopped arguing looking between me and someone else before stepping out of the way allowing me to see my... clone?
Memories from this morning came back and my eyes widened "It worked?!" I asked
"Woah" Amilliana said
"Who's who?" Sebastian and Evan asked us
"How long have we been asleep?" Me and Millie asked at the same time
"What?" We both said "Stop!" We continued "no you stop!" Again we jinxed "ugh!" We both said falling back onto the hospital bed
"That's was weirdly amazing" Emily said walking over to me
"You couldn't at least try and kill yourself after the wedding? Geez Amber I have dreams of becoming a maid of honor and you will not ruin that" she joked sarcastically
"How do you know that's Amber?" Sebastian said before I could say anything
"Because they look different" Emily said
"How?" Evan asked "They could be clones"
"Yeah well we're not" Amilliana and I said at the same time in the same tone
"Please stop doing that" Sebastian said
"We're not trying to!" We both said
"Amilliana" Evan called
We both looked at him but I didn't say anything. Millie looked at me as if that were my name and I frowned "I'm Amber she's Amilliana" I said
"No I'm Amber!" Millie said
"No your not why are you doing that?" I asked her
"Why are you doing that?" She asked me
"Sebastian which is which?" Alex asked
"I don't kn-" he paused as I ran my fingers through my hair
"That's Amber" he said walking over to me
"How do you know?" I asked
"You do that all the time" he said kissing me causing sparks to shoot through my body
Evan walked over to Amilliana hugging her. She immediately pushed him off of her glaring at him "Get away from me" she said
"Why what did I do?" He asked
"You were mean to my sister when I was dead" she said walking over to me and pulling me away from Sebastian "I want to meet my niece"
"Is she back?" I asked Sebastian
"Yes but-" he didn't get to finish before Amilliana and I ran out of the hospital and into the house
We entered the living room and saw my daughter entertaining the pack member who looked at her lovingly.
They all turned towards us when we walked in and their eyes widened.
"Mommy!?" Taniah said happy to see us but not knowing which one of us she belonged to
I squatted down and picked her up "I missed you my princess" I said kissing her cheeks
She giggled before her eyes found Amilliana again "who's that?" She asked
"This is your auntie Millie she's my twin sister" I said
Taniah reach her arms over to her and I gave her to Millie to hold. Sebastian walked in and kissed Millie's cheek while Evan wrapped his arms around me.
Millie and I immediately elbowed each other's mates in the stomachs and slapped our mates causing the pack members to laugh.
"I'm Amber!" I yelled at Sebastian
"For the love of god please change outfits or do something so that I can tell you apart" Sebastian said
Millie's eyes changed to the brown my eyes used to be. "This is my natural eye color and I usually wear my hair up" she said
"Let's get make overs" I suggested Millie grabbed my hand pulling me towards our room and I followed her before stopping and poking my head back in the room
"Em I think I'm going to need a maid of honor's opinion" I said knowing Emily was probably plotting Millie's death by now
She beamed hugging me tightly "I knew you wouldn't forget about me!" She said childishly
"I need to meet everyone officially!" Millie said motioning for the other girls to come too
"You both are so similar it's scary" Katie said
"You're Katie Jason's mate I've been dying to tell you you're child is freaking amazing!" Millie said
"My child?" Katie asked
"Yes since your child is living but not born I could talk to and see it before" Millie said "I apologize for calling it an 'it' but I don't know if you know the gender or if you want to know" she added
"JACE!" Katie screamed
We all stopped walking as we heard the guys running towards us with Jace leading them. He took Katie into his arms searching her for injuries and looking for danger than putting his ear to her stomach before sighing and looking back up at her "What is it babe?"
"She met our baby" Katie told him excitedly
Jace looked at Millie suspiciously "This baby?" He asked
Millie nodded looking at me "would she be my niece too or no since 'technically' I wasn't there but I was" she said
"I don't know we're going to have to figure that one out" I told her
"Millie!" Katie called
We both looked at Katie and I frowned knowing I'm not Millie but instinctively responding to her name.
"The gender!" Katie said
"Oh she's one sassy little girl" Millie said
Katie squealed jumping up and down happily and the rest of us gave them their privacy.
Us girls went up to Sebastian's and I room and laid brainstormed on ways to make Millie and I look different.
After a while of coming up with nothing except changing our clothes and hair the guys came in.
"Hey" Sebastian said looking between Millie and I before walking over and sitting next to me
"Wait how can you tell them apart?" Millie asked me looking at Sebastian and Evan
"Evan always has that stupid grin on his face" I said
"Wow thanks sis" he said
"So anyway we came for a reason" Sebastian said
"And what would that be?" Millie said taking the words right out of my mouth
"Well our wedding is in 2 days and the dress designers need to measure you, oh and if you want your sister in the bridal party she has to get measured too" Sebastian said
"Oh ok what time did- wait 2 days!" I said looking at Sebastian
He nodded "Half of the important guests have already arrived and the other half are coming today. We've been telling them you were under the weather but-"
"I am not prepared for this, did the designers even look at the sketches yet?" I asked him
"I wouldn't know Emily forbade me from looking at them" he said
"The dress is already made they estimated your size based off of other dresses in your closet but they want to be sure" Emily said
"So that means I was out for 2 weeks?" I asked
"And 3 days while none of us could tell you 2 apart" Evan said
"And why would you risk your life that close to the wedding? I almost lost it when I read the letter and saw you in the floor" he said
"Correction he did lose it which is why the library is under construction" Chad said
"Sorry but I did kill her, the least I could do was try" I said
Sebastian sighed shaking his head "Actually Amber, Millie tried to kill you and the moon goddess punished her" Isiah said
"What?" I asked
"Surprise!" Millie said before trapping us in a bubble and running off
I froze in shock before popping the bubble and running after her.
She ran outside and I stomped on the ground making a hole appear in front of her. She fell and I tackled her before she could get up. I saw her attempting to make it rain and held my hand up making the water pause in mid air.
"Millie how could you!" I yelled at her
"We were kids!" She yelled back flipping me over so she was now on top of me
I used the wind to throw her off of me and fell to the ground exhausted "I shared my powers with you?" I asked feeling weaker
She nodded "But your still stronger and you'll still be the next moon goddess since the current one hates me"
I glared at her "Millie you didn't tell me that!"
"Would it really have changed your decision?" She asked
"No but still that's important information!" I said
She quickly made it rain on me before I could stop it and I did it back before shifting into Bri who was way past pissed.
Millie shifted into a smaller grey wolf and bared her neck in submission thinking I would attack her.
I shook the water off of me and shifted back fully clothed while she was naked. Evan gave her his shirt and after she put it on we just stared at each other.
"I don't know how I feel about this" I said
I myself wasn't all that angry but Bri was fuming wanting to kill her.
"I love you!" Millie said hugging me
"Ew get off you're still wet" I said
"Woah your wolf is pissed!" Millie said jumping away from me
"How do you know?" I asked
"Well before Bri chose you you had another wolf, my wolf's twin. Bri essentially killed her and took you but the connection remains. It's like I can feel it" she said
Sebastian wrapped his arms around me calming Bri. Bri flashed her eyes at Millie in warning and Evan stood in front of her protectively.
