So in this topic, we will discuss about how can you say in japanese of what's your favorite things.

Suki(好き) is the Japanese word for Favorite, likes, or loves.

So once you ask, you can say "(name of whom you want to ask) -san/kun, suki na (favorite words, things,foods, etc..) nani/ nandesu ka?"

So this is the pattern.
(_____ san/kun, suki na ( fav. ) nani/nandesu ka?)

Example, I want to ask her/his favorite word so i'll say

言葉(ことば or コトバ) = Kotoba| Word

A: ______ san/kun , suki na kotoba wa nani/nan desu ka?

B: Suki na kotoba wa (your fav. word) desu.

A: 1)Ee, Sounanda? (Oh! Really?)
2) Ii ne! (It's Great
Or 3) Onaji (Same)

Example of scene:

A: John-kun, suki na kotoba wa nani?

B: Suki na kotoba wa Kawaii desu.

A: Ii ne!

These are the words that you may ask their favorites.

Food = Tabemono(食べ物)
Drink= Nomimono(飲み物)
Place= Basho(場所)
Sport= Supotsu (スポーツ)
Music= Ongaku (音楽)
