“Bonnie! Someone is at the door and wants to see you!” Pa yelled in a loving voice but was obviously using his stern voice. I rushed down the stairs regretting waiting that few moments to pick up my room.
“OkayPa!” I walked into the kitchen; Pa turned a smiled at me.
“Beautiful, sweetie,” he closed his eyes, “I didn’t know you knew Officer Jones?”
PA knew him, so I guess he wasn’t a complete stranger. “Yeah, how do you?”
“He was there at the peace signing, he was on the stage and made sure no one touched you.”
I couldn’t see him but I smiled, “Protective are we?”
I grabbed my sunglasses and started for the door, but no before Pa grabbed my arm. “Bonnie, be extremely careful of what you do, and who you talk to, D.C is much more different than home. Remember if anyone tries to touch you run and hit the button on your phone.”
I nodded, knowing the severity of my social state. “OkayPa, I promise,” I whispered.
“Come home by 8:00, baby,” he smirked, “Love you, see you later,” he hugged my shoulders.
“Night Pa,” I kissed his cheek, I stepping into the view of Lox.
He looked completely different. His hair that was lying down was now in a modern up in the front with a dramatic side part, very clean cut. He had on a snug black shirt and straight legged jean, and a pair of mud boots. I could barely see a small chain around his neck.
“Hey,” I said, while him looking up and down my body. Unlike the intruder, /lox was only a half a foot taller than me.
“You look great, princess,” he smiled.
“You can dress up yourself,” I said slyly.
He smirked and moved back so I could get through the door, we walked to his car, which was a brand new Audi. I slid in the seat and, watched as he kept looking at me from the diver’s side. “What? Is something wrong?”
He shook hid head and smiled, “No, I was just thinking of how I could get used to you in my car more.”
I blushed then remembered something while driving. “Lox?”
“Hmm?”
“He, he came back,” I said looking away. Ashamed I didn’t tell him on the phone.
“What?” He slammed on breaks.
“I said, ‘he came back,’ as in I actual looked, and saw him, talked to him.”
Lox rested his head on the steering wheel, and sighed. “I want you to tell me what he looked like, and why did you talk to him?”
“He was tall, like a good foot taller than me now,” I gestured to the heels. “A he had dark hair in his face…and he said he wasn’t my fan, but my enemy, and I asked him what he wanted,” I gulped, “he said me.”
Lox starred at me and his jaw hardened. “We have to go to the station and get this report done. We’ll go after that,” he looked over at me, “You know you don’t seem to get too overwhelmed at these things?”
“I do, I just hide it. I’ve heard scarier things before.”
He nodded and began driving. Minutes later we pulled into a humongous police station. Lox got and I went to follow following him up the steps. “Come on.” He helped me up to the lobby and pulled me along passing the front desk.
Women sat there and glanced over at Lox, “Loxland, I thought you where off, and is that...” he cut her short, “Yes.”
He slammed open a door that said detective bureau, and called out, “Three!”
I saw in the corner a man stood, locking on to Lox and me. It was Detective Lowndes, and he cocked his head at the sight of us.
“Lox, what are you doing here? Oh hello Bonnie.”
“Her little stalker came back. She confronted him.” Lox nearly yelled.
“What do you mean,” Lowndes began getting frantic.
Lox began saying what I said then they both looked at me. “What?” I said. I didn’t know, all I wanted to do was getting out of the house.
“Anything else?” Lowndes asked.
“Not really, I mean I just wanted to you know get out of the house. I mean he did steal a pair of my pa…” I trailed of before finishing. They both starred at me, deciphering what I said. Until recognition flashed in Lox’s eyes and he pressed his lips in a line to hide his smile. Lowndes gasped and began laughing.
I hit his chest. “It’s not funny,” I hissed.
“Where they lacey? Or, or, a fun color?!” Lox laughed.
My face went hard. And I said something that threw them box off guard. “Yes, yellow lace boxer shorts, and they had a matching bra. If you want it as crime evidence? Do I need to report it?”
They stopped and straightened up, “Well I think we should go, right Bonnie?” Lox laughed nervously. I nodded and Lowndes began to go back to his desk.
We Went to the care, and drove silently until we turned into a less populated part of the city.
I notice Lox kept looking at me. After a while it finally started to aggravate me. “What is something wrong?” I turned to him.
His face reddened but he smiled, “Oh, I was just imagining you with those yellow boxers,” he laughed, “While straddling me.”
I frowned, “What no bra?”
“Nope, not necessary.”
I laughed. “Not happening.”
“We’ll see princess.”
I turned away smiling. “We could, I don’t know, get to know each other, just a thought?”
“Na, have you heard?” he turned to me, “First you meet, then sex, then marriage, then get to know you!”
I laughed. And he smiled as he pulled into a dirt road. The Audi was bumping around. A small red barn came into view, surrounding it where little houses. We got closer and he turned into the long driveway.
“What are we doing?” I asked.
Lox sighed and glanced down at my shoes. “Your going t have to change.”
“What?” I had looked forever for this outfit.
“Don’t worry you can borrow a pair of my sister’s shorts later, come on.” Lox swung out and walked over to my door. I got myself out and we walked to the barn house to a truck.
He opened it and got in, then motioned for me to get in. I hesitated and got in. It was a piece of crap, honestly it really was. We rode into the would and out to a dock, that lead into the ocean.
There sat a sailboat. “Whoa…”
He helped me up onto the deck and we began preparing to go sailing. “Ever been sailing?” Lox asked while untying the boat.
I shook my head and took a seat as the boat trusted foreword.
“Your going to love this!” he hurried to the wheel and turned it so we where heading to the ocean.
We where about a mile from shore and jus cruising. I was hanging over the rail in the back and skimming the water with the tips of my fingers.
I guess Lox turned. “Whoa, hey, hey, don’t do that I don’t want you to fall!” He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me up easily.
“Oh, sorry.”
He pursed he lips and looked at me. He lead me to the wheel and gripped my hand to the prongs, “Okay let me show you this,” he hands braced above mine, he stood closely behind me, closing me in. “This wheel controls a rutter in the back, which enables the boat to turn.” We turned right then left. “You try now…” He let go of the wheel but rested his his hands on my hips. I was turning it with a bit difficulty.
“Gosh, this is so cool!” I cheered.
“I bet it is,” Lox laughed.
Lox sent me over to the seats while he steered. Soon enough I saw a small loggish thing coming out of the water and while next to it, Lox brought down the sail and tad up the boat. I didn’t understand because we where in the middle of no where.
“Lox, what are we doing?” I asked. I looked to where another boat was, sitting there a black figure sitting on the front of the speed boat.
Lox walked over and sat next to me. “Happy 4th of July.”
Before I could say anything huge blinding fireworks lit up the dark sky. My eyes where wide, truth be told, I was actually terrified by fireworks. I turned into Lox’s chest, earning me a confused look.
“Bonnie? Are you okay?” he leaned back to cup my face.
I shook my head.
“Are you scared of firework?” there was a tiny hint of amusement in his voice. I nodded. “I’m sorry if I knew I would’ve chosen something different,” he hugged me.
I lifted p but stayed underneath his arms. “Oh, no this is great. It’s fine.” Another explosion went of and I jumped. Lox let out a low laugh.
“It’s not that bad.”
“Really?” he asked.
“Really.”

I yawned and rolled over. When I saw Lox silently sleeping on the sailboat’s couch I smiled. He looked so peaceful. Last night nothing really happened, except that Lox helped me over my fear, we didn’t even kiss.
Wait. Eight o’ clock echoed in my mind. But it had to be 11:00 the next morning.
I’d stayed on the boat, the whole night.
“Lox!” I jumped up and shook him, “Lox!”
He rolled over, “WH-at?”
“It’s morning,” I hissed.
He looked confused for a second but then jumped up. “You, you where suppose to go home, I’m late!”
We ran upstairs and Lox made some adjustments and the sail boat literally turned it into a speed boat. I held onto the seat and closed my eyes.
We ran out onto the dock, and something flashed in the corner of my eye, an all too familiar flash. I stopped and turned to see a man with a camera slapping a high five with another.
“Come on Bonnie, give it up!” he laughed.
I looked at Lox, tears welling up in my eyes. We knew we couldn’t stop it.
Then Lox snapped.
“You are fucking sickos! Do you two not care about her life? Do you want to ruin it? Apparently, a girl can’t make one mistake without the whole entire world scolding her!” he through his hands up, and the camera man took picture. “Ya’ll could go to hell, okay?”
The writer smiled, “Why ‘Loxland’, aren’t you an officer?”
Lox starred at them, “Fuck you very much, motherfucking dick. As for you ‘Camera man’, I hope you’re sorry.”
I grabbed his arm and tugged him, “Come on, no use.”
The cameraman smiled, “Why isn’t that cute? She’s defending him,” Snap, “Thanks for the promotion, ‘Princess,’”
While riding down the rode, we realized it was about 5 in the morning; Lox gripped my hand while I cried. The afternoon new that we knew that would be us.
“I-I-I’m s-sorry, Lo-ox!” I sobbed.
Lox rubbed my back as he turned into my nationhood, “Hey, it’s not your fault. That actually was a private dock, the story will get into the paper, but they’ll get arrested.”
“I ruined the Peterson family name! I ruined PA!” I yelled. Lox pulled over a few houses away from mine and pulled me into a hug.
“Bonnie, listen, it’s not your fault. It’s mine,” he stoked my hair. “It was my careless mistake, okay? I forgot to bring you home...”
I didn’t agree, it was my self.
He pulled up to the house; he stepped out and surveyed the area, and ran around to get me up. We jogged to the door, and I opened it.
“Bye Lox-“he cut me off, “You are not going through this alone.”
I nodded and let him in, “Pa!?” I called nervously and felt new tears sting my eyes.
“Bonnie!?” I heard him yell and come down the stairs.
He came down his face looking somewhere between grateful and enraged. “Your finally home.” He brought me in a tight hug.
“Why whereat you home last night?” he gripped me.
“Me, me, me and Lo- Officer Jones, fell asleep on, on a boat.”
That’s when he noticed Lox. Pa let go of me and stepped up to Lox. “You.”
“Pa, stop, it was my fault!” I yelled.
“Oh, did he tell you it was,” his voice rose, “did he make you stay?”
“No. He didn’t we just kind of did.”
His face got redder, and he turned to Lox. “Did you fucking have sex with her?!” he pointed me.
Both our faces twisted in a sort of discus, and then a tad bit of amusement. “No!” we said.
Pa rested his hands on the counter. “Okay…” he calmed in seconds. “I’m sorry for yelling at you two. Your just kids, you wanted some fun. Just please tell me if something happened, I need to know.”
I guess Lox wasn’t used to an easy going dad. “Well, the people from the news caught us, on the dock.” I said
Pa looked up, “Do not think this was your fault, Bonnie. Bonnie, stop, stop crying,” he got up and hugged me. “Bonnie we can get through this, okay? Just be more careful.”
Lox interjected, “Actually what they did was illegal… they’re going to get in a lot of trouble. But we will still be in the paper.”
Pa laughed, “Well let’s see what story is made?”
I smiled but Lox was a bit creeped out.
Pa smirked, “Come on boy, want any breakfast? We are going to see what stories a spun.”
We ate breakfast and Lox and I went upstairs for a tour. At the end we ended up in my room. We watch some T.V.
Around about 2:00 Pa called us and we began to get up. We walked down the hall and while passing a room, Lox pinned me to the wall.
“What-“
He cut off my words with a kiss. His arms looped around my waist. Softly, very softly he lifted me up a bit. I left my hand splayed on his chest and tangled my fingers in his hair. His lips where heated as the moved with hunger on mine. His kiss got deeper, his tongue grazed my lips and I tipped my head back, and let out a moan like sigh. He laughed and kissed one by one up my shoulder. He came to my lips and grazed his tongue again and I granted entry. His fingers drew circles on my back.
We stopped to breathe and I put my chin on his shoulder, because I was crushed between Lox and the wall. I looked through the window of the room in front of me.
There, on a branch, sat the intruder. His mouth pressed into a hard line. He watched me for a seconded and stood, and then jumped all three levels to the ground.
