"So do you want to be the one to tell Cisco about last night or should I" I asked Barry still laying in bed from the night before
"Well how about this...You can go to S.T.A.R labs and tell Cisco what we figured out and I will go to work and finish up some work. We can meet back here in an hour and a half" Barry suggests
"Perfect now come on we should get up and start getting ready for work" I tell him
"But i like it here in bed with you especially now" Barry says kissing me on the lips
"We will have all weekend to do this" I said separating from him
"Fine" Barry says finally giving in
We both got up and got ready for work, Barry kissed me goodbye and headed off to the police station. I drove on over to S.T.A.R labs to tell Cisco the big news.
S.T.A.R labs....
"Cisco i have big news"
"I thought you were leaving this afternoon?" Cisco questions
"I am but not before telling you what i figured out last night" I tell him grabbing his arm and pulling him in a different room
"Okay what is so important that you had to grab me and yank me into a different room"
I explained to Cisco everything i figured out last night. He was in shock same as Barry, But he made no sense of it all.
"Wow"
"I know. So do you know the plan for this weekend?" I asked once again making sure he doesn't forget
"I set up each of the recording devices and if we catch him admitting to it we will send it to the police, before doing that i will go over everything to see if i can find out anymore information" Cisco explains
"Okay good. So i will be heading out now...i will only be gone for 3 days and hopefully there will be not too many metas, please don't do anything stupid. Call me if anything happens"
"Caitlin you worry too much. Go. Have fun" Cisco says
"Bye Cisco" I says and I quickly walked down the hall
Barry was meeting me at my house with all of his stuff, I still have no idea where we are going but it will be absolutely amazing. You won't know by looking at him but he is very romantic. I decided to call Barry and tell him i was on my way home.
Ring Ring Ring
"Hello beautiful to what do i owe this pleasure" Barry says sweetly over the phone
"I just wanted to let you know I'm on my way home, when will you get there?" I ask him
"In about 30 minutes. i just need to pack. Then i will be there"
"You haven't pack yet!"
"Cait you forget I'm the fastest man alive. It won't take me that long to pack" Barry says stating the obvious
"Okay see you later"
"See you" Barry says before hanging up the phone
Barry's POV
"So you going tell me who you were talking to?" Iris asks catching me a bit off guard
"Iris what are you doing here?" I ask a bit irritated
"I came to apologize. I'm sorry that i looked through your phone. I didn't mean too i just wanted to know you were okay....you are never home. I was just worried" Iris says sympathetically
"It's fine Iris. I understand why you were so worried. I never call to tell you guys where i am and I'm not home very often. You just need to trust me and know that I'm okay. I just have a lot of stuff going on, I'm at S.T.A.R labs most of the time, i like to hang out with then"
"So you forgive me?" She asks
"Yeah" I say pulling her into a hug
"Well it seems you two are on good terms again, Barry i just came to tell you goodbye before you leave" Joe says making me and Iris separate
"Where are you going?" Iris asks
"Just a science conference. I will only be gone for 3 days, so no worry" I tell them both
"Well see you later. Come on Iris you have to get back to work, the news won't write itself" Joe says as they both walked out
I finished all of my packing in about 10 minutes, then i left straight for her house.
Caitlin's house...
"Cait you packed and ready because we have to get going" I yelled to a seemingly empty house
"Barry I'm almost done" Caitlin says yelling back from her room, soon I saw her run down the stairs
"Okay so you ready to go?" I asked taking both of our bags
"Yes absolutely" She finally says excitedly, we finally walk out and head for the car.
As I'm driving i looked over slightly to see Caitlin looking very impatient.
"Barry are we there yet?" She asks sweetly
"Cait i will give you the same answer as i did 2 minutes ago....we will get there when we get there"
"I don't even know where we are going, i understand you want it to be a surprise but i really wanna know. You never gave me any hints... What if i didn't bring the wrong stuff or..."
"Caitlin! We are almost there and trust me you will love it" I cut her off from speaking
"Okay"
After about 10 minutes of driving i pulled up to a hotel in Keystone City. I chose to take her to this 5 star hotel with restaurant and a beautiful view of the beach.
"Barry this is amazing, how much did this cost!" Caitlin says in awe
"Don't worry about that. Now come on let's go check out the place and get settled" I tell her taking the bags out of the trunk
We walked into the lobby and get the keys to our room. When we opened the door to our room i saw a large king size bed, a fireplace, and a back door leading out to the beach.
"Barry you have really out done yourself. This is so beautiful and romantic" Caitlin says pulling me in for a hug
"Thanks i knew you would love it"
"I love you"
"I love you to. Now what do you wanna do now that we are alone?" I ask, i see the red appear on her face
"I think i have an idea" She says before kissing me passionately
As i am kissing her i forget all about Central City. No metas, No Wells, and No flash. Just me and Caitlin.
At S.T.A.R labs...
Cisco's POV
Barry and Caitlin are both gone. I find it weird how they both left the same weekend, it's probably just a coincidence. It was kinda weird to be in the same room as a murderer, when he leaves i will set up each of the recording devices in the cortex and the time vault. I have made them small enough where they can't be seen. I still can't believe what Caitlin told me, i couldn't believe he would go through all of this just to become the fastest speedster.
"Cisco I'm going to head out for the day, you don't need to be here" Wells says getting my attention
"I will leave in a bit i just wanna make sure there are no metas. It will be kinda hard to do anything with Barry not being here"
"Yeah what would we do with out him" Wells remarks starting to leave the room
"I bet you think about that all the time" I mumbled to myself
"Did you say something Cisco?" Wells asks turning back around
"Nope. Not a thing. See you later"
He finally leaves. Thank god. Now i can actually start planting these devices.
A few hours later...
Caitlin's POV
I'm still laying in bed with Barry. So far we haven't left the hotel room but we are planning on going to the beach pretty soon.
"How do you think Cisco is doing?" Barry asks as i am laying on his chest
"I'm sure he is fine. Now come on it's our vacation and i don't want to worry about anything that's going on over there. Now you said you wanted to go to the beach...it's a beautiful night"
"Yes it is. Now how about you go get your swimsuit on and we can head out" Barry suggests
"Okay" I says before heading in the bathroom to change
I grab my brand new bikini out of my suitcase. I got it especially for this trip, it was red...Barry's favorite color. I'm sure he will love it. As I'm changing i hear Barry's phone go off, who would be calling this late?
Barry's POV
Ring Ring Ring
"Hello?"
"Okay so i have set up all of the devices exactly where Caitlin said to put them. Now all we have to do is wait a few days" Cisco explains
"That's great...you know it's kinda late maybe you should..." I start to say but i soon get cut off
"Who are you talking to?" Caitlin asks
"Barry do you have girl in there with you?" Cisco asks suggestively
"No. There is no one here i really gotta go. Bye" I quickly said then hanged up the phone
"Barry I'm so sorry, do you think he knew it was me?" Caitlin asks worryingly
"No. He didn't suspect a thing" I reassured her, i placed both hands on her cheeks a kissed her on the forehead
"Now come on, let's go take a walk on the beach" I tell her grabbing her hand and leading her out the back door
"This is amazing"
"I know. You look stunning in that red bikini by the way" I say leaning in for a kiss
"This is the perfect trip ever" Caitlin says pulling me along the beach
"Yea it is"
