Someday I will be dead
I doubt you'll cry or care.
Someday I will be dead
It won't hurt many, so never fear.
My funeral will be quiet
No one will shed a tear.
My grave will be a sight
No roses here no boquets there.
My heart is full of sorrow
Just thinking of that day.
Sometimes I get too morbid
hard to keep the tears at bay.
Maybe a bit of joy
This road has a bend.
Maybe this is God's ploy,
Perhaps it's the desired end.
Don't cry on my grave , oh no
For I know too well what'll grow.
I need not your tears
nor the carnations yellow.
Someday I will be dead

But it's not something you can't bear.
