'Yes Savanna, I love you!' He repeated
I couldn't believe it. I don't want to believe it. This is so weird and confusing.
'I just broke up with Anthony, I'm still not ready' I replied
'I would wait. I would wait for a week. I would wait for a month. I would wait for a year, Savanna. I would wait to love you' Ryan said trying to hold me hand
'Ryan...' I said 'I can't promise something like that. I don't want you to wait for nothing'
'Just try Savanna' He said
Why does this happen to me? Every single morning something happens. Ugh! The bell rang, just in time when I needed it to ring.
'Theres the bell. I've got I get to registration' I said
'Yes, you do. Bye' He said
I smiled and wave good bye to him. I went to registration and waited for it to finish. I don't want registration to end. At least it's much more peaceful here. No drama, no insecurities and no heart breaks. After Miss Johnson took the register she welcomed a new boy in our class
'Everybody, I would like you to meet David Smith, he's from America and I would like you to treat him as well as you treat others and how you treated Savanna' She said
David took a seat near me, he looked at me and I gave him a smile. "Wow, he's cute" I whispered to myself. Oh what am I thinking?! I just went through a horrible break up and now I'm thinking 'bout stuff like that. Plus, what are you going to do about Ryan? Ugh. The bell just rang, I've got double history next. I walk outside the class and David was walking behind me. He came near and tried to talk to me.
'You're Savanna, right?' He asked
'Yes, how did you know?' I asked
'Lucky guess, mainly because of your accent' He answered
'Oh yes. I don't have a British accent. I'm from Canada' I explained
'I've heard, they told me to look for you. I came from Massachusetts' He replied
'Massachusetts. That's cool' I said
'Sorry to disturb you but where is this?' He asked then handed me his timetable
'Oh, you've got History with Mr Hudson, you're with me' I answered
'Do you mind if I follow you?' He asked
'Of course, why not? We can also get to know each other' I answered
He smiled at me and while walking we continued on talking. David turned out to be a really nice guy, he likes baseball and he plays loads of computer games. Sporty and geeky. He's also good in school, he learned history fast. I think he did some early revision. It's break time and I brang David to the library.
'Now the library is open in the morning, from 6 and it closes at 6 in the night. So you can go here when you're bored.' I explained
'Oh. Great.' He answered 'I'll just go find myself a book to read' he added then continued to the history stall
He is so interested in History. I find that, cute. Wait no Savanna! stop fantasizing over him! You are so going to be bloody crushed!
'So, who's the hot new kid?' Grace asked
'Hey! Didn't see you there. His name is David Smith. He's a nice guy' I answered
'Hot!!' Grace said staring at him
David looked at us and smiled. We smiled back and he continued to look for an interesting book. Suddenly the 'Circle of Vanessa' came out of no where and started talking to him and flirting with him. It seems like they are having a conversation then David was starting to point at me. What could they possibly be talking about? After a couple of minutes David left the 'Circle of Vanessa' and sat next to me
'So I see you met them' I said
'Yup, they aren't the nicest people here, are they?' He asked
'How come?' I asked
'They told me not to hang out with you because you're fake' He answered
'What did you say?' I asked
'You're the nicest girl I've ever met. And I think they are just insecure' He said looking at me
'Really? You think so?' I asked
He nodded 'I know I've only known you for 3 hours but you've been extremely nice to me' He explained
'Aww!' I said, I couldn't believe it. I didn't know that there was still good enough guys here rather than Ryan.
The bell starts to ring and we have to head to drama, I drop David off to Media Studies and me and Grace rush off to Drama. As usual drama is so boring. I pick David up and proceed to have lunch. Then we went to the library. David again rushes off to the history stall.
'Mm-mm-mm, one hot sugar!' Grace said in a sexified tone
I bursts out of laughter because her tone was hilarious 'What the heck?'
We both started to burst out in laughter 'But no, look at him' she said
I looked at him then answered 'He is hot, I might develop a crush on him. Nobody knows' I said
'Hey! Leave him to me!' Grace said with a ridiculously weird tone
'What's with your tone?' I asked
Grace looked at me and she was giving me the "I don't know, I'm crazy" face. We both bursted out laughing. After lunch we had a double lesson of Maths. Gosh, Maths is so boring. Well, at least school is finally over.
It has been three weeks since we've met David. He turned out to be a fantastic guy. He liked to watch Disney movies which I found totally cute. He owns a blog. He likes to walk around and he is a gamer. Not to mention that he's totally HOT! Okay, I admit it I've got a crush on him. On the other hand, let's talk about Anthony and Ryan. Anthony is so pathetic. I think karma took care of him. Natasha has been flirting with the 'All stars' in front of him. Like seriously, she was pulling Toby then putting her arms around him. Then he pulls Taylor and hugs him. Then she asks them questions that are out of this world ridiculous. Well, it's his problem. He left me for a tramp so he has to pay the price. Meanwhile, Ryan has noticed that we've been hanging around with David a lot and he's not so happy about it. Well, it would hurt for sure but I don't love him. He's just a.......friend. Okay, now back to reality. It's Tuesday lunch and we're hanging out in the library.
'Grace, I think I like him' I told Grace
'You do?!' She asked
'Yup!' I answered
'Thats fantastic, maybe he can help you get over you know who' She said
'You think so?' I asked
'Of course, just admit it to him' Grace said
'Oh no no no no! It's too fast. Remember the 3 month rule?' I said
'3 month rule more than 2 weeks before rule' She said
'The what?' I asked
'Anthony was in love with Natasha 2 weeks before you broke up' She explained
'Whatevs' I said
'None but seriously just tell him' She said
'Alright, here goes nothing' I said
I stood up and was walking near him, is everything going too fast? No, stop thinking bout this. Just tell him "David, I like you" yeah, something like that. I finally reached him and he looked at me then smiled.
'Hello Savanna! What's up?' He asked
'Nothing much, you?' I answered
'Same, so do you need anything?' He asked
'Actually, I wanted to tell you something' I answered
'Okay, shoot me it' He said
'David...I kinda have a crush on you' I confessed
David laughed then gave me a hug. Then he looked into my eyes and held one of my hand.
'Are you for real, Savanna?' he asked
I nodded then smiled, maybe he likes me too. He hugged me and held my hand. Was that a yes?
'So?' I asked
'I've got a confession to make too' he answered
'Alright?' I asked
'I should have told you this earlier' He explained
'Yes?' I asked
'Too avoid all of this' He said still holding my hand
'What is it?' I asked for the nth time
'I'm gay' He said, I pulled my hand a way and I was just staring at him. OMG!
