The bus was quiet. Few people were on board, and most were asleep or on their phones. Still, Sans kept a protective arm around a dozing Frisk.
When Mt. Ebott came into view, Sans nudged Frisk. "Hey. We're almost there."
She gripped his hand when they got off the bus. His magic roared up and they teleported.
They landed in the house. Sans turned on the lights as Frisk sat on the couch.
"I'll go get us some Grillby's." He said, disappearing. Frisk sighed, then walked upstairs.
She stepped into Sans' room looking around. He had been insisting she not strain herself, but Frisk set to work. When he got back a few minutes later with two greasy bags, the socks had been put away and the bed had been made.
"Hey. You cleaned."
"I wanted to."
"Thanks."
Frisk nodded, sitting in Sans' lap. They ate and he turned on the TV.
"Famous superstar Mettaton has been seen with a new boyfriend: Deputy Papyrus Snowdin."
"Huh." Sans commented. He glanced down at his lap. Frisk had fallen asleep.
Made sense: it was one in the morning. He kissed her forehead.
"I love you."
