Hey guys! I'm back-- I had seriously BIG problems since someone was trying to hack into this account. I had to change passwords and stuff. Enjoy!

Bilbo.

My brother, the one who I have grown up with, the other half of me, the rock of my life. Was he gone? Tears filled my vision as people started murmuring and running around wondering what on earth happened and what in Shire's name are we suppose to do about it. Were we suppose to be looking for him? shouting help? But who in Middle Earth would help us? Gandalf? Gandalf! Alvena thought to herself.

Her head whirled around trying to seek any tall wizard running around or her short nephew. She couldn't help but let out a sob just by the thought of not seeing her brother anymore.

***

That was last night, Alvena was in for another adventure after her little run in with Frodo and Sam packing last night then Gandalf grabbed Alvena by the arm last night and dragged her into Bilbo's study and whispered to her "I need you to bring Frodo and Sam to Bree at the Prancing Pony. I'll meet you there but I need you to remember to not trust anyone, stay off the road and tell no one of who you really are." To be honest Alvena was scared the way Gandalf was acting.

She rather face Thranduil's wrath rather than facing what she was about to face, but once she knew Bilbo traveled to Rivendell without her knowing or coming along Alvena was furious she wanted to stomp all the way to Rivendell and slap Bilbo. "This is it." Sam said.

"This is what?" Frodo asked as they all stop to look at Sam. "If I take one more step this will be the farthest I have ever been from home." Sam said.

Alvena sighed to herself wondering what would of life been like if Bilbo and her never went on that adventure, for sure she'll be sad because if she never went she would have never met her two elven friends Legolas and Tauriel. Sadly she only had a few moments with Tauriel.

Now times were different especially Frodo told her of the story 'The one ring' and it chilled her to the bone, the world was about to change not only for her but for everyone. She still remembered when everything was different and more simpler.

"ALVENA!" Hyacinth Took yelled across the plains of the Shire. Pippin and Merry burst out laughing as Alvena sat up instantly from the grass as Pippin, Merry, Frodo and her were just smoking pipe and lying on the grass. "Let me guess you didn't do your chores?" Frodo asked as he propped himself up on his elbows. "They're not chores Frodo they are hobbies." Alvena said as she stood up and dust the grass off her trousers.

"ALVENA BAGGINS!" Hyacinth Took yelled even more loudly making all four of them flinch. "I don't know Alvena, your so called "hobbies" look dangerous the way you do them." Pippin said his fear rolling off his tongue.

"All I have to do is deliver mail and carry a few stuff... besides I am the unusual hobbit here." Alvena said with a smirk as she dashed off but she also heard Merry saying "A strange one too."

Alvena smiled at that memory until she heard Sam yell "Mr. Frodo! Mr. Frodo! Alvena!" Alvena whirled her head not noticing that she was standing in a corn field. Sam and Frodo out of her sight. "Frodo! Sam!" Alvena yelled frantically but as she found them she found four hobbits instead. "Frodo." Pippin beamed as he looked at the person who he slammed into "Merry-- It's Frodo Baggins." He looks behind him and saw Alvena smirking at them "And Alvena Baggins!"

"Frodo! Alvena!" Merry greeted them. "Get off him!" Sam said harshly as he lifted Merry away from Frodo. Merry and Pippin started picking up the vegetables that they dropped and Frodo looked at them and asked "What is the meaning of this?"

"They have been in Farmer Maggot's crops... again." Alvena said as if she already knew what they were doing which she did.

Pippin then started shoving vegetables in Sam's arms when suddenly a dog's bark could be heard in the distant and Farmer Maggot's distant yells. Merry started pushing Frodo into a run as Alvena started laughing as she pushed Pippin after Merry and Frodo leaving Sam behind.

"Don't know why he's so upset it's just a couple of carrots!!" Merry shouted as they all started running including Sam. "And a couple of cabbages-- oh! Don't forget the sack of potatoes we left there last week." Pippin shouted over the stomps of their feet sometimes just the loud stomps on the dirt ground or the crunch of the corn field crops.

"And the mushrooms from the week before." Pippin added again.

"Yes Pippin my point is he is clearly over-reacting." Merry stated. While Alvena and Pippin ran ahead both of them stopped just in time before they could tumble off the cliff. Merry and Frodo also stopped before they could bump into them but suddenly Sam slammed into Frodo and Merry making all of them go tumbling down the cliff.

Alvena heard their shouts as they fell down the small cliff luckily Alvena landed on her bottom and quickly stood up while the four hobbits landed harshly in a very uncomfortable manner. Alvena saw Pippin just a few inches away from poop. "That was close." Pippin exclaimed in relief while Alvena chuckled at his expression. "I think I've broken something." Merry groaned as he reached under himself and got a broken carrot.

Alvena rolled her eyes and told them all "Come on! Up on your bottoms! We must keep going!"

"Trust a Brandybuck and a Took." Sam complained as he glared at the other two hobbits who had a sheepish smile upon their faces. "What? That was just a detour... a shortcut." Merry said proudly.

"Shortcut to what?" Suddenly as Alvena searched for her young nephew who was no where to be found, Pippin and Merry shouted "Mushrooms!" As all three of them raced over to it picking it up greedily. Alvena spotted Frodo staring at the road as if it held some sort of evil lying ahead.

"Frodo? Are you all right?" Alvena asked but Frodo replied with "We should get off the road." Alvena confused was about to say something when suddenly a harsh gush of wind blew and a distant piercing scream could be heard.

"Get off the road now!" Alvena shouted as she pushed Frodo to hide behind a huge root of a tree. Alvena whispered harshly to the others "Hush!!" As they suddenly heard stomping of horse feet. Alvena's heart was increasing with each step the horse took. She had never been this scared in a very long time. Then Alvena flinched as she heard armored feet hit the ground and then she saw an armored hand at the top of the root as if the person was trying to smell the air. Alvena then squirmed along with all of them when suddenly there was small spiders and centipedes crawling on their shoulders. Alvena put a hand to her mouth trying her best not to scream as a centipede crawled down her leg.

Right as Alvena couldn't take it anymore she grabbed a blanket from Merry's arms and tossed it on the other side of the forest making the person or whatever was trying to search for them dash away while letting out a piercing scream. Once the person was gone Alvena and Sam grabbed Frodo and started running once they were down a small hill and thought they were safe Pippin asked "What was that?"

Frodo was breathing heavily as he stared at the ring in his hands finally realizing how this small thing that may seem like a piece of jewelry can bring such immense danger.

For hours they have been running but Alvena knew something bad was gonna happen as darkness fell and the sun was nowhere to be seen. "Anything?" Pippin asked as all of them hid behind trees trying to be stealthy if that is even possible for clumsy hobbits.

"Nothing." Frodo replied. Through out the whole running Alvena stood beside Frodo not letting him out of her sight.

"What is going on?" Pippin asked confused on why they were trying to stay out of sight.

"That black rider was looking for something." Merry spoke while approaching Frodo "Or someone, Frodo?"

"Get down!" Pippin exclaimed. All of them hiding in the bushes watching right above the hill as a black rider rode on a pitch black horse with horrifying red eyes. They watched as the black rider rode away. "I have to leave the Shire." Frodo said softly. "Alvena, Sam, and I must get to Bree."

"Alright, Buckleberry ferry, Follow me!" Merry said as everyone started following Merry but as soon as they started running the Black rider suddenly appeared out of nowhere. "Frodo!" Alvena shouted frantically.

"Run!" Pippin shouted.

"This way follow me!" Merry shouted. Frodo stumbled a bit but luckily Alvena helped him. They then went over a wooden fence and as Alvena jumped over it with ease she chuckled as she heard Merry groan. "Show off." he mumbled under his breath.

Alvena and Frodo were lagging behind. The other three hobbits were already on the ferry untying the ropes. "Frodo! Alvena!" Sam shouted.

"Run!" Pippin added. Alvena's heart was beating at a new speed of rate. The boat was already floating in the water that's when Alvena picked Frodo up and tossed him to the boat. Sam caught Frodo as they both fell on the boat harshly but Alvena dived in the water hoping her dive made the ferry float faster so the Black rider couldn't jump on the ferry.

"Alvena!" Frodo shouted. Alvena resurfaced as she went to the ferry, and they helped Alvena on to the boat. Alvena was shock to see the Black rider stop abruptly as if it was scared of water. "How far till the nearest crossing?" Alvena asked.

"Brandywine bridge, twenty miles." Merry said not taking his eyes off the black rider while he paddled. Alvena paled pure stalk white as she saw not only one black rider but three.

***

Finally they arrived at the gate of Bree, Alvena knocked as she shivered since all of them were drenched from the hard rain pouring down on them. A man opened a hole from the gate and asked rudely "What do you want?"

"Heading to the prancing pony." Alvena said as the man closed the hole and opened the gate shocked to see four hobbits surrounding her.

"Hobbits? Four hobbits? And an elf?" he asked with a confused expression as he shined the light upon their wet faces. "And what's more, out of the Shire by your talk. What business brings you to Bree?" he asked as he eyed each and everyone of them.

Alvena was about to correct him that she was in fact a hobbit as well but Frodo quickly covered her mouth with his hand and said "We wish to stay at the inn, our business is our own."

The man looked at them closely then sighed "It's my job to asks questions after nightfall. There's talk of strange folk abroad... can't be too careful."

Once they entered the building with the sign 'Prancing Pony' people stopped what they're doing or saying and stared at them as if they were from a different world. "Excuse me?" Alvena approached a man behind the bar, the man soon turn around and smiled at her and the hobbits "Good evening little masters and young lady. If you're seeking accommodation we've got some nice, cozy, hobbit sized rooms available ms...." Alvena's eyes widen forgetting that she wasn't allowed to give out her real name and this man was waiting for her to tell him her name.

Suddenly Frodo put an arm around Alvena's waist and pulled her closer to him and said "She is Mrs.Underhill and I am Mr.Underhill, her husband. I am sorry but she is shy." The man look hesitant to believe them but welcomed them. "Okay... Mr. and Mrs. Underhill." Alvena had an uncomfortable feeling she could hear the other three hobbits behind her holding their laughter and all she wanted to do was turn around and punch them like she always did when they got on her nerves.

Alvena then elbowed Frodo in the shoulders making him take his arm away from her waist then Frodo said "We're friends of Gandalf the grey, can you please inform him that we've arrived."

The man then looked puzzled "Gandalf.... Gandalf... Oh.... Oh yes! I remember now, elderly chap with a big grey beard and pointy hat?" the man asked. Frodo nodded with relief but was quickly erased when the man said "Not seen him for six months." Alvena's heart sunk like it was a rock sinking to the bottom of the ocean.

She was also scared that she and the hobbits have to now face those black riders alone without the wizard by them, the wizard who was the reason why she and Bilbo survived their first adventure. "What do we do now?" Sam asked. They then approached a table and Alvena's eyes darted to the men around her when suddenly one of the men caught her eye. He was wearing a hood covering his most of his face and he sat in the corner. A cold feeling ran down her spine.

Merry and Alvena went to the bar to get some ale. "What's that?" Pippin asked as his eyes almost popped out of his sockets.

"This my friend is a pint." Alvena said as Merry started drinking.

"It comes in pints? I'm getting one." Pippin said as he dashed off towards the bar to get one.

"You had a whole half already." Frodo shouted as he chuckled.

They all waited for Gandalf wondering if Gandalf ditched them or he's running late. When Alvena looked back at the hooded guy in the corner he was still staring at them she then grabbed the man she talked to earlier and asked "Excuse me, that guy over there. Who is he?" the man leaned nearer to Alvena and whispered for her and Frodo to hear "He's one of them Rangers. Dangerous folk they are. What his right name is I've never heard but around he's known as Strider."

Strider ey? Creepy name for a creepy man. Perfect! Just our luck. More creepy people. Alvena thought to herself.

When Alvena noticed Frodo playing with the blasted golden ring Alvena squeezed his hand and whispered "Don't play with that, you know who's after that and it reminds me of those creepy black riders." Frodo just smiled but it ended quickly when they heard Pippin shouted "Baggins? Sure, I know a Baggins. He's over there! Frodo Baggins." Frodo and Alvena's eyes widen in fear and Alvena thought how much she loves Pippin as a brother but can sometimes be a pain in the bottom.

"PIPPIN!" Alvena screeched. Frodo tried to run away but he tripped sending the ring up in the air and in the corner of Alvena's eye she saw Strider focused on Frodo like he was prey but when the ring slipped on Frodo's finger he disappeared. Alvena's eyes widen even more trying to rub her eyes to make sure she saw correctly. First Bilbo, now Frodo? Is this some kind of Baggins dark magic?

Alvena was searching for Frodo her heart hammering furiously in her chest but then Sam told her and the other two hobbits that he saw Strider bring Frodo upstairs and anger boiled from within Alvena. Suddenly Sam, Pippin, and Merry took a step back from Alvena fear itched on their faces. "Al.. Alvena you-- You're eyes are red." Pippin stuttered.

"Let's go!" Alvena barked as the hobbits grabbed something then Alvena marched upstairs ready to tear Strider's head off his cold shoulders.

Alvena kicked down the door ready to kill Strider with her bare hands but what happened was unexpected Strider drew his sword and pointed at Alvena and her so called "Army" behind her.

"Let him go or I'll have you long-shanks!" Sam threatened. Strider's grey eyes stared into Alvena amused to see red eyes. He then put his sword away knowing they weren't a threat no matter what they held. "You can no longer wait for the wizard. They're coming." he said.

"Who's coming?" Sam asked as Alvena still glared at Strider but her eyes were now back to normal.

***

While the hobbits were asleep Strider sat beside the window while Alvena sat at the edge of Frodo's bed. Alvena pulled her bandana off revealing her blood red hair. "Red headed elleth, You're from the red kingdom?" Strider asked.

Alvena sighed and said "That's what people are saying but I don't remember anything from my past since my mother took my memories away." While she played with the red jewel that her dear friend gave her.

She could feel his presence near her comforting her but her sweet day dream was suddenly interrupted by the piercing scream of the black riders. All four hobbits bolted up from their beds and Frodo asked the question everyone has been wanting to know "What are they?"

Strider faced them and replied "They were once men, great kings of men. Then Sauron the deceiver gave to them nine rings of power. Blinded by their greed, they took them without question. One by one, falling into darkness Now they are slaves to his will. They are the Nazgul, Ringwraiths. Neither living nor dead. At all times they feel the presence of the ring drawn to the power of the one. They will never stop hunting you."

Alvena gave a concerned glance at Frodo.

***

Alvena fell into a deep sleep with a dream once she and the rest including Strider reached an ancient ruins and they started camping. Alvena felt this was no simple usual dream,

Alvena was in a large castle with beautiful white marble floors and large golden pillars with red ribbons wrapped around each one. "Alvena!" a female voice called out Alvena turned around and saw a beautiful woman with red curly hair run towards her, her violet gown flowing behind her. "Alvena!" Alvena then jumped in her arms.

"We have to find your father." she said as she started running in some direction, Alvena could hear shouts and scream from the distance. The woman then bumped into a man with long raven black hair and bewitching red eyes "Rahl!!" The woman cried out tears running down her face. "We'll never make it." the woman cried again but the man put his fingers to her lips and put his head against hers. "We'll make it my love, so will Alvena." his voice smooth and pleasant. He put one hand on the woman's cheek and one on Alvenas' as he kissed the woman's lips and Alvena's head and said "Take the back gate, take her to the place I told you about. I'll hold them off."

Then Alvena was suddenly awaken by the shrieks of the the black riders. She then noticed the black riders were closing in on the four hobbits. Alvena quickly pushed herself up and grabbed her sword which was given by Arwen and stood in front of the hobbits and hissed "You have to go through me before you could touch them." Her eyes turning red.

"The... survivor... of the... red.. kingdom." one of the nazguls hissed as they stared at Alvena. They suddenly engaged into a sword fight then to Alvena's liking Strider came out of nowhere with a torch in his hand. Then Alvena heard Frodo shout in agony she turned around and saw a sword embedded into his shoulder.

"FRODO!" she shouted as tears automatically started falling from her eyes. Alvena dropped her sword and ran to Frodo, the nazguls were now running away. She checked Frodo as his skin was pale and his eyes were a light violet. "Frodo, don't leave me." Alvena cried out.

Everything around Alvena was blur she didn't even notice another woman's presence but once she took Frodo's body Alvena tried grabbing Frodo again but Strider held her.

She couldn't lose Frodo.

She just can't.

"We need to reach Rivendell now." Strider said once the woman and Frodo were gone, Alvena sighed and whispered to herself

"Here we go again."
