the act of rising out
of the appealing darkness
requires an amount of strength
that every being with skin and bones
is able to accomplish
and you must never think
that you can't
that you're too weak
whoever you are,
you
are
strong
enough.
it doesn't matter if you have thin bones
it doesn't matter if you have thick bones
it doesn't matter how many scars decorate your skin
it doesn't matter how corrupted your mind is
you
are
strong
enough
and you will get through
and you'll rise out of the inky darkness
with a radiant heart
and colorful bursts of joy
and the sun will welcome you
with arms of comfort and happiness
because you are loved
and you matter
