A/N: After that last one here's something a lot more happy... You and Bucky's wedding! (I'll leave it up to you to imagine how you look.)
You slowly walk down the aisle of the church, your fathers hand on the small of your back guiding you along. Through the intricate lace of your veil you can see him, standing at the end of the aisle, in the middle of the pews.
There is your fiancé, Bucky Barnes. He is facing the priest, his back turned to you but you know he looks handsome without having to see his face.
The beautiful wedding arch and stained glass window adorn the scene perfectly. As the classic music plays there was a quiet rustling when everyone begins to turn around and gasp at the sight of you.
Strangely, this isn't how you expected your wedding day to go. You always thought you'd be a nervous wreck and that nothing would go right, that it'd just be your typical, quiet, small wedding from the 1930's. But here you are, no knots in your stomach, everything running smoothly and when you were planning this day Bucky insisted that you only had the best of the best; in other words, it was big and beautiful and perfect. None of those worries you expected to have like tripping over your dress have even crossed your mind.
Finally, Bucky turns around, slowly shuffling on each foot. When he sees you his jaw drops to the floor. You will admit that when you looked in the mirror you did think you looked very pretty but the look in Bucky's eyes - a mix between pride, amazement and awe - makes you feel a new kind of way, a warmth in the pit of your stomach. And you wonder why you two ever doubted your love for each other.
Bucky himself looks handsome as hell. He looks good enough in his everyday get up let alone now that he's in a suit with styled back hair and clean shaven cheeks. You'll never get tired of looking at that face. You feel like the luckiest girl in the world, not only is he good looking but he has the personality to match it.
His suit is black and tailored perfectly around his shoulders, waist and legs. He wears a crisp white shirt underneath and a perfectly tied silver tie is done up around his neck. His hair is slicked back into smart waves with a single curl in the front. The silver tie bringing out his blue-grey eyes against his olive skin.
Your bridesmaids smile at you encouragingly and Steve who stands right next to Bucky claps him on the back. They exchange a quick goofy grin and you can see Steve wiggle his eyebrows causing Bucky to smirk.
Before you know it you are at the end of the aisle. All you want to do is hug and kiss Bucky already, the bouquet in your hands is probably the only thing reminding you not to do so.
You can't help the huge smile that tugs your lips up, one similar on Bucky's face but it's lopsided and goofy like usual. As he reaches out his hands you pass off your bouquet to your sister - the maid of honour - and clasp your hands in his. He looks down at them and squeezes slightly before smiling up at you even bigger.
"You look absolutely beautiful doll," you hear him whisper sweetly to you just as the priest starts to speak.
You don't really listen at the start, you're just too transfixed on Bucky and he the same with you. But when it comes to your vows, the ones you each personally made up, you know them off by heart to say them without looking at any notes or stumble over your words because they mean so much to you and are all true.
"I vow to stand by your side through everything you go through," Bucky says in a deep, loving, serious voice. "No matter what happens we will get through it together, because as a team we are unstoppable. I'm so lucky to have found the person who fits me absolutely perfectly, my soulmate. I love the fact that you are completely honest with me, I know I can always trust you. If you think what I'm doing is right you will support me, if you think I'm being a complete idiot you will tell that to me straight too."
You can't help but let out a small giggle. You haven't heard each other's vows yet.
"I can be myself around you. You are the most loving, loyal, affectionate, caring person I have ever met and I'm so lucky to call you mine. My life wouldn't be half as good as it is now if I didn't know you. I promise to do all that I can in return to treat you as well as you treat me because you deserve the whole world doll," he finishes, his voice soft and kind. "And I will always do everything it takes remind you that."
There is a chorus of "aw's" as he gives you a sheepish smile and blushes slightly.
"I love you," you mouth to him before starting to read your vows aloud.
"I vow to love you with passion in a way that shows you how much I truly care about you. I will be right there with you in everything you do. When you need help, I will help you, when you need support, I will support you. And I hope that I can show you so much love that the trust between us only grows stronger than it already is. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, you have helped me become the person I am today and I can't thank you enough for everything. So much so that if you ever need me to help you clean out the gutters I will do it - and you know how much I hate that," you say.
This earns a quiet laugh from the reception and Bucky. His shoulders rise and fall, his eyes crinkle in the corners and his nose scrunches up cutely, just the way you adore when he really laughs before turning to the crowd and raises his eyebrows, nodding in agreement.
You stifle an amused grin as you think about what is coming next, knowing that the person you are talking about will love it.
"And most importantly," you start, stressing the sarcasm, although you do truly mean it. "I vow to make sure Stevie will always be a part of what we have, because it wouldn't be the same without him."
You peer over Bucky's shoulder and smile cheekily at Steve who is throwing back his head.
"Yeah!" He laughs and pumps his fist in the air. "That's right."
Bucky laughs loudly and claps his hands together.
"Alright, alright, before this gets out of hand... I now pronounce you husband and wife." The priest chuckles. "You may kiss the bride."
It's a good thing you both know him personally or else he might not appreciate the disruption of the ceremony.
Bucky flips back your veil and doesn't hesitate to take his face in your hands, a palm on each cheek, before smashing his lips to yours in a passionate kiss. Naturally, you follow suit and snake your hands around his neck, curling your fingers through the fluffy hair at the base of his neck.

Gradually the din of the room quietens down as Steve clinks his fork against his glass.
"Okay so before I get to the sappy best man speech about how long I've known Bucky - believe me, it's a good one - there's one thing I'm dying to know," he says cockily.
You're glad to see him being so confident today, he hasn't been that way in a long time. But he's wearing a nice suit that actually fits and is done up all fancy and is getting all kinds of good attention, even from girls. You're happy for him.
"And what might that be?" Bucky quirks an eyebrow.
"(Y/N), you said that you will include me in everything-" he starts with a cunning look in his eyes.
"Woah woah woah!" you cut in. "I didn't say everything," you tease.
"How exactly will you do that?" Steve continues with a smirk.
"I suppose we can invite you round for dinner at least once a week," Bucky jokes and huffs, rolling his eyes as if it will be a chore.
"Once!?" Steve scoffs. "It better be a fancy meal."
"We will include desert," you chip in.
By now the whole audience is in stitches.
"Deal!" Steve shouts eagerly.
The reception goes well. The meals are delicious and the talk is all lighthearted and positive. When it comes to cutting the cake, Bucky smooshes the piece he is meant to feed you in your face causes you to shrieks and laugh.
"I'm sorry," he chuckles as he wipes it off and then gently presses his lips to yours. "I had to." He murmurs as he pulls away.
You roll your eyes and glare at him jokingly.
"Oh wait, I missed a spot." He grimaces as he wipes his finger across your cheek only for you to feel something cold and wet and you know that he's only wiped more icing onto your face.
"Ah! Bucky!" You wine and slap at his hand playfully before pressing your own piece of cake right into his nose causing him to step back and put his hands up laughing.
"Okay, okay, I'm sorry." He laughs.
"Hey if you two could stop gazing into each other's eyes and cut me my giant slice of cake that would be much appreciated thanks," Steve interrupts.
"Quiet you or you'll get it too," Bucky jokes and points a frosted finger at Steve.
