August's P.O.V.
So, after Chres convinced me to go see Yn...I decided to go. I'm gonna take his advice to not tell Yn about me cheating. But, I am gonna do the best I can to be there for her this time. I just arrived to the hospital and now i'm getting anxiety just being in here.
Aug- Um...I am August Alsina and i'm here to see Yn Ynl.
Nurse- Yes she's in room 130 just give her a knock and walk right in.
Aug- Thank you.
As I'm walking to the room every step I take is full of sadness and guilt. It's eating me alive but I'm trying to be strong.
I give a couple knocks and Yn doesn't say anything. I just walk in because Chres did say she wasn't talking to anyone.
When I look and see her I just break down. She's sound asleep but she looks like an angel. I missed her so much and the fact that I cheated on her I have to tell her...But is the time right?
After I wipe my tears I see that her eyes are open and she's looking directly at me.
Aug- Hey baby... How are you feeling.
She does nothing but shake her hand side to side to say she's okay.
I sit in the chair next to her and she gently points to a piece of paper with writing on it. The paper reads "For anyone visiting Yn Ynl she was given medicine that numbed her muscles so it's difficult to speak let alone move."
I nod my head in understanding.
Aug- I'm sorry I didn't visit you sooner. I couldn't handle the pain. But, I am okay and everything is well.
Yn-(nods her head)
Aug- Are you getting out tomorrow?
Yn-(nods her head yes)
Aug- Perfect, I can't wait for you to come home. Are you sure you're okay?
Yn-(nods her head yes with an assuring smile)
Aug- Okay...I know you wanna say so much but you can tomorrow when the meds wear off.
Chres's P.O.V.
Jordan- Wait so he cheated on her?!
Jordan and I are hanging at my house just chilling while his son is sleep in the other room.
Chres- Yes man I know.
Jordan- Is he gonna tell her?
Chres- I told him not to be(gco)
Jordan- Chres are you stupid?
Chres- Look man, Yn just lost her baby, she's under serious depression as it is. You know how much she loves August.
Jordan- Right she did tell me all she wanted was him to comfort her.
Chres- Exactly but, when she finds out i don't know what's gonna happen.
Jordan- Well, whatever happens happens for a reason.
Chres- Yeah man you're right.
Jordan- Yeah, um Chres can I ask you something?
Chres- What's up man?
Jordan- August has a criminal past did you know about that?
Chres- Um...He did years ago when he was young why?
Jordan- I'm just asking it's nothing man.
Chres- I mean he was a troubled kid way back when but after he met me he was on the good path.
Jordan- Ooohhh okay.
Next Week....
Jordan's P.O.V.
Yn has been out for awhile. She hasn't talked to me since my last visit at the hospital. But, I said I would give her space and that's what I intend to do.
Yn's P.O.V.
I'm running, running as fast as I can. I didn't know where I was going but I did know I can't stop running.
As I turned a corner I could hear the screeching of his tires. He's coming close. As I slow down with thoughts of defeat I see an ally and decided to hide behind a dumpster. I try and catch my breath and try not to breath as hard for him to hear me. I hear the car go farther past where I was resting and I sigh in a sense of relief. I gather my composure put a hood over my head and continue to walk regular in the night. I can't believe August would become so malicious.
Flash back:
The day I got out.....
Yn- August what happened to our home?
August- Baby I'm sorry I got carried away. I was, angry and depressed.
Yn- It's okay, we can fix it in the morning.
I walk upstairs into Lucas's room. The one room unhinged. I start to look around and see that Jordan was right of how Lucas was the mother son bond I have been looking for and even though my unborn child is not physically with me, he knows his momma will never stop thinking about him in her heart.
August- Baby are you okay?
Yn- I think I'll lay in here for awhile.
August nods his head and gives me the alone time in Lucas's room. A few minutes later I soon found myself sound asleep.
The next day was August's party celebrating on our photo shoot making the cover of one of the most popular dance magazine in the world.
I was getting dressed and everything when I came across someone's charm bracelet on the floor in my bathroom.
I pick it up and it had 2 dolphin charms on it. It's not mine and August doesn't wear any of this shit. So, someone was in this house. I'll just put it in my purse until I get more clues.
August- Everything okay babe?
Yn- mmmhmm everything is fine...Are you ready?
August- Yeah lets go.
We head to the car and drive off. The whole car ride was complete silence. August is hiding something from me, he would've at least tried to spark up a conversation with me.
Obviously no luck, before i knew it we were already at the club where the party is at. We get out and begin to mingle with everyone. We danced which was pretty fun and August gave a speech to thank everyone for their work and even shouted me out. Everything was going good up until I couldn't find August. I was asking everyone and searching all over the club, no one has seen him. I head outside about to call his phone when all of a sudden I see him behind the club building talking to some girl.
August- Look I don't know who you are okay I'm sorry.
???- Okay but you do remember the night we had when you was high as hell?!
Aug- Exactly, I was high and drunk... Two combinations that don't mix. Just leave okay, before someone sees us.
???- Look August, Im not trying to blackmail you or anything okay I get it, you were mad and weak and I took advantage of you. All I'm saying is if you don't find my charm bracelet I'm telling someone.
Aug- Okay, Okay, when Yn is sound asleep I'll search for it.(gco)
Yn- Too late.
When August saw me he had shock written on his face.
Aug- Yn what(gco)
Yn-(walks over to the girl) Save it August, here's your bracelet and don't worry I don't got no beef with you or nothing.
???- Thank you. I am sorry, I didn't know..(gco)
Yn- I know it's okay.(turns to August) I'm leaving.
Aug-Yn don't please.
Yn- So, while I was going through hell just to cling to my life, stopping myself from killing myself. You're out here getting your dick wet!
Aug-Yn I was going through it too.
Yn- Yeah Aug, you were but at least I didn't cheat just to get over it.
Aug- Yn, it didn't mean anything I was just(gco)
Yn- Mad....so it makes it okay that it didn't mean nothing?
Aug- That's not what I'm saying, what I'm saying is we can work it out.
Yn- Yeah well what I'm saying is we can't.
Flashback over....
After that night he's been constantly apologizing to me and he wouldn't leave my house. Then things took a tole for the worst. He was drinking and smoking weed more.
Flashback....
I'm sitting on the couch and August comes through the door late as usual.
Aug-Yn come on let's have sex.
Yn- No Aug, you're drunk.
Aug-(forces himself) Come on baby I'm not drunk come on please.
Yn-August I said no.(push him off)
Aug- Oh so now you're a selfish bitch huh. You know, if you didn't have that disease AJ would've lived.
Yn-Aug just go to bed NOW.
Aug- See(stumbling) AJ could've been with us if you had tooken extra precaution in order for him to live. But, you were stuck in your imagination to even take the initiative.
Yn- AUGUST....GO NOW!
Just then August pulls me down on the floor and has me pinned down. Within seconds he starts hitting me and hitting me.
I'm screaming at the top of my lungs and trying to get free but it's no use. It felt like the beating was going on for hours until he loses all his strength and gets off me.
Aug-Yn, why did you make me do that.
Without even giving me a chance to answer he leaves into our room. While I'm left laying with so many bruises and blood dripping from my face.
Flashback over....
August never remembered what happened that night. I couldn't even tell him because I lost my voice from screaming. He tried to help but I pushed him away and in a whisper told him to leave me alone. The next night once he left I knew he was gonna get high and drunk again. So, that's why I left which led me to hide behind this dumpster.... August isn't August no more. He may have been drunk and high but drunk people don't always lie. He hates me and it's eating him alive.
