Your eyelids fluttered closed as the clock in the corner ticked closer towards 12:00, your breathing slowed and you drifted into your dreams. An eerie silence enveloped your room, nothing stirred nothing, except the window that slowly opened, filling the once silent room with jerky creaks. A single shadow cast on to your floor by the moonlight edged closer towards your sleeping figure, the form of which was a hook.
Twitching slightly in your sleep you couldn't shake off the feeling that something wasn't right, perhaps it was just a nightmare that was haunting your dreams or perhaps something worse. Wearily you opened your heavy eyelids which blurredly adjusted to the moonlit room but... it was too late.
Your eyes shot open in sudden realisation as a man loomed over your bed, however you didn't have time to scream as a gag was tied tightly around your mouth before you had the chance. Eyes in a panicked frenzy you thrash around as best you can from the man before he knocks you out of consciousness with a sharp blow to your head. He shoves you into a sack and flees the room with you sprawled limply over his shoulder.
