Mark:
You tried to turn him down as gently as possible after he had confessed. Mark would act like he was fine when you spoke to him, but he was upset. He would be more quiet and sulky than usual. Mark would throw himself into his work, trying to get his mind off of it.
Jisung: "Hyung, are you sure you're okay?"
Renjun: "Yeah. Mark, you don't need to pretend. Just talk to us. You've been really quiet ever since you and Y/N talked yesterday."
Mark: *doesn't look up* "Don't know what you're talking about. I'm fine."
Renjun:
While at a party, a slow song came on. Renjun mustered up his courage and walked over to ask you to dance, only to see another guy's arms wrapped around your waist, holding you close dancing. The loving smile you had on your face made Renjun realize your heart was already taken.
*Sighs* "Well, I should've acted faster. Did I actually expect an amazing person like her to stay single for long?"
Jeno:
His crush on you was obvious. When Jeno approached you all nervous and fidgety, you knew he was about to confess to you. Unfortunately, you had to turn him down.
"Y/N! I have something to tell yo - "
You'd interrupt him, full of remorse.
You: "You should know that I have feelings for someone else."
Jeno: "Oh. Okay. Cool. G-g-good luck. He'd be an idiot not to like you back."
Haechan/Donghyuck:
He was tough and optimistic. Haechan wouldn't back down even after you rejected him.
You: "Why are you smiling? I just told you I don't like you back."
Haechan: "But you will. Just wait, Y/N. I'll win your heart eventually."
The next few weeks, he'd be super sweet to you. Haechan would be buying you gifts, complimenting you, and looking directly at you during performances.
"Hey there, Y/N!"
I think we all know he'd eventually win you over.
Jaemin:
Like Haechan, he'd stay positive and wouldn't give up. Jaemin would still be sending you that heart-stopping smile 24/7. He was confident you'd fall for him soon. In the morning, he'd be getting ready in the mirror, thinking of ways to impress you.
"Looking good as always. What hairstyle will make Y/N swoon the most? Maybe show some forehead?"
Chenle:
He wouldn't understand why the feelings weren't mutual. Chenle was so sure you liked him back. He wouldn't internalize it though, the crush wasn't too big because he had only just met you.
"But why not? I'm adorable!"
Jisung:
You were his schoolmate, whom he had a crush on. Jisung was shy so he didn't want to confess in person. During class, he had passed you a note, confessing his feelings and asking if you liked him back. You'd write a paragraph on the back of the paper, telling him you thought he was sweet, but that the the feelings weren't mutual. When Jisung got the note back, he would just stare at it disappointed.
"Well . . . this sucks. Atleast she thinks I'm sweet."
