When I woke up Eclipse's black eyes were already looking at me.
"Good morning Eclipse" I said making no attempt to get up
"Good morning my princess" he said "Can I ask you something?" He said
I nodded too lazy to look at him "Why don't you let Bri out more?" He asked
I could feel Bri wake up and purr at the sound of her name leaving his lips "Because most of the time she's relaxing, she doesn't ask to come out until she really wants to" I replied
'I'd come out to talk to either one of them anytime' Bri said
"Would you like to see her more?" I asked him
He nodded "it's not that I don't enjoy your company-"
"But she's your mate, I get it Eclipse" I said sitting up and kissing his cheek before letting Bri have control
I felt my eye color shift the the striking lavender and Eclipse smiled
"Briana" he whispered
She rolled her eyes playing off her excitement making me laugh "its good to see you again Eclipse"
He moved her into his lap and pecked her lips "your eyes are like no other, absolutely beautiful" he whispered
"Thank you" she blushed
He sighed "Sebastian wants to spend time with you"
She smiled and nodded bringing her lips to Eclipse's neck. She began kissing sucking and biting causing him to let out soft growls
Bri pulled away with a smile "until we meet again"
He nodded kissing her hand before Sebastian took over.
"Wow" he said smiling
"Why are you both so happy?" Bri asked
"Because your so... mysterious and sexy" he said
I had mixed feelings on his comment since technically Bri is another girl but I had to remember that they're bonded too.
"I could say the same about you" Bri replied
Sebastian immediately brought his lips to hers careful not to lay his weight on her.
Bri ran her fingers through his hair with one hand, cupping his face with the other. They made out until neither of them could breathe causing them to break away.
A soft growl hummed in Sebastian's chest as he looked at her with complete love. "You and Amber are my world" he whispered to her
"I'm tired" she said before giving me back control
'I can't do it' Bri said to me panicking
'Do what? What's wrong?' I asked her
'He's too good for me, they both are. Amber before I was your wolf I did some bad things, things I am not proud of but was too blinded by power to avoid. I don't deserve 2 beautiful perfect mates to call my own' she rambled
'Bri if you didn't deserve to share my mates you wouldn't be here, your mom would not have given you a second chance if you didn't deserve one daughter or not. I don't know what you did but we have power, lots of it and you aren't going crazy now so I believe that whatever drove you to do what you did in the past is gone. Being my wolf is punishment enough since I pretty much never let you out but we were made for the man and wolf in front of us and that means we deserve them ok?' I asked her
'Ok' she responded
I focused back to reality and saw Sebastian looking at me worriedly
"Amber I'm sorry, is Bri ok? Did I freak her out? I really didn't mean to" Sebastian said
I smiled "she's fine, let's get dressed if I remember correctly we have things to do"
He nodded unsurely but nonetheless began getting ready.
Once I was dressed in my black dress pants, a beige camisole, and white blazer, I added my gold jewelry and black purse putting everything I need into it before stepping into my beige and white stilettos.
When I turned around Sebastian was already looking at me amusement clear on his face.
"Ready?" He asked
"Yup" I smiled opening the door
We walked downstairs to see the pack eating breakfast talking in small groups. When we walked in they looked at us weirdly. I looked at Sebastian to see he was dressed in a full suit and tie and his hair was neatly combed.
"You look hot" I told him taking a sip of my orange juice
"As do you babe" he said pecking my cheek
"Where are you two going all dressed up?" Emily asked walking over with Alex
A hush fell over the room as everyone was wondering the same thing.
"We're getting married in 10 minutes" Sebastian said seriously
"What!" Multiple people yelled
Sebastian and I both began laughing and everyone surprised and shocked faces turned into ones of confusion.
"He's just joking we have to go to the castle" I said
They all relaxed while Sebastian had a smug look on his face. "If you all have a question just ask us, we're your Alpha and Luna you should feel welcome to talk to us"
They nodded with a low "Yes Alpha"
"Well then, lets go Alpha" I teased walking out of the house
Everyone cracked a smile and Sebastian laughed as we got in the car.
"Hey why is it so cold out here?" I asked buckling my seat belt
"It's fall sweetheart" Sebastian said driving off
"It can't be fall our wedding is in the fall" I said in a duh tone
"Babe its September 22, aka the first day of fall" he said grinning
"Oh god Sebastian our wedding is in October we have so much to do" I said
"Our wedding is 3 weeks and 6 days away we'll get it done" he said pulling up to the front of the castle before walking around and opening my door.
I took his hand stepping out of the car careful of the cobblestone driveway since I was wearing heels.
We walked up to the front door and it took me until we were halfway down the hall to realize everyone was bowing to us as we passed.
We made our way up to my father's old office. His scent lingered in the air giving me the chills but I'm guessing Sebastian didn't notice as he plopped down behind the desk.
"I'll see you later babe call if you need me" I said
"Alright" he replied already looking over the work
I went next door to the office formerly belonging to my mother and my jaw dropped. Everything was sprinkled in diamonds as if it were confetti.
I slowly entered being sure not to step on any jewels and sat in the desk. I picked up the desk phone to call Sebastian but before I could dial anything a voice spoke up.
"Hello Queen Amberlyn what can I do for you?" A young sounding girl spoke
"Um I have a few questions about my office..." I said
"Our interior decorator will be right up" she said quickly
"Oh ok thank you" I said
She gasped quietly in shock "Oh well you're certainly welcome my Queen"
I hung up the phone just as a knock sounded at the door.
"Come in" I said
A man in a suit walked in closing the door behind him and staying in his spot. "Hello Queen Amberlyn my name is Demetri, chief royal interior decorator" he introduced himself
"Very nice to meet you Demetri, please take a seat" I said gesturing to the chair in front of my desk
He moved swiftly on his feet sitting himself in the chair.
"So these... decorations my mother has, do you know why there are diamonds everywhere?" I asked him
"May I have permission to speak freely my queen?" He asked me
I leaned back in my seat crossing my legs "Please" I nodded
"You're mother was a spoiled Queen who wanted the most lavish office available and what is more lavish than diamonds crushing under your feet with every step" he said quickly, bracing himself for my wrath
I smiled nodding completely understanding "So we can re model this right?" I asked
"Yes of course, these are some options you can chose from but we can make pretty much anything you want happen in this room" he said handing me a book full of office styles
I nodded "Thank you Demetri I'll let you know"
He stood leaving "Any time my Queen"
I put the book to the side and looked at the desk. Papers were neatly stacked everywhere. They each had a separate topic but were not started.
I turned on the computer opening my mother's emails to find about 50 unopened emails all corresponding with the piles on the desk.
I read through each email, printing them out and slowly figuring out what I was supposed to do.
Once I had all of them done I picked up my phone. Just as someone knocked on my door. I turned around looking through the file cabinets that were filled to the brim with papers.
"Hello my Queen what can I do for you?" The same girl asked on the phone as I heard people enter my office
"Hi um can I get a file cabinet and file folders up to my office along with Demetri?" I asked her
"Right away my Queen" she said
"Thank you" I said hanging up the phone and turning back towards the door
My friends and Sebastian were looking around the room in shock and wonder.
"Hey guys what's up?" I asked
"Why are there Diamonds on the floor?" Emily asked as I looked through the book Demetri gave me
"This is my mother's former office" I said as they carefully sat down with their hands filled with diamonds
"Who's Demetri?" Sebastian asked
Another knock sounded on the door "Come in" I said
"Everyone this is Demetri chief royal interior decorator" I said introducing him
He bowed to Sebastian before walking over to me. "I like this one" I handed him the book turned to the specific office that caught my eye
"Any customizations?" He asked
"Nope just like that please" I said watching as 2 men walked in carrying a file cabinet placing it next to the others
He looked shocked before recovering "Of course my Queen"
"Thank you" I said
He nodded walking out with the other 2 guys. I picked up the file folders they set on my desk and put each finished stack inside their separate folders and filing them in alphabetical order.
"How did you get so much done already and when did you meet people?" Sebastian asked
"Um I just sat here and figured it out and I met Demetri through the nice girl on the phone" I said
"What girl?" Emily asked eagerly
I picked up the phone and pressed the speaker button
"Hello my Queen how may I help you?" The same girl asked
"I forgot to ask what your name is" I said
"I'm Aaliyah" she responded
"Where are you?" Belle asked
"We are located in the government sector" she said
"We? Who else is there?" Sebastian asked
"Your assistant Henry and all the other government employees my King" she said
"Oh ok, anyway I was wondering if you knew where Duke Anders is?" I asked
"I'll send him up my Queen" she said
"Thanks again Aaliyah" I said
"Of course" she said before I hung up
"So what are you all doing today?" I asked
"They have jobs to do" Sebastian said shooting our friends a look
"What jobs?" I asked
"Well now that everything is back to normal we have to go back to doing our pack jobs, training the future pack warriors" Alex said
"And us girls have to work in the offices and hold down the important stuff" Emily said smirking at the guys' offended faces
I nodded "Why don't you girls train?" I asked
"We're female it isn't allowed unless you come from a warrior blood line which none of us do" Belle said rolling her eyes
"Says who?" I asked
They all looked at Sebastian who suddenly seemed preoccupied looking at the diamonds on the floor
"Ah yeah that's going to change" I said
"Why girls should stay in the house where they belong, protecting the pack is a mans job" Jace spoke up
"Girls are just as capable of fighting as guys are" I said completely offended and slightly angered by his words
Katie growled at the unbelieving look on his face "Seriously Jace?"
"It's the truth" James said backing him up causing Marissa to elbow him in the ribs
"It's not true, if anything girls are better protectors than guys" she said
"And why's that?" Sebastian asked challengingly
Marissa bowed her head in submission and I glared at him "Because we're faster and its in our DNA to protect what's ours, for example no mother could let anything happen to her pup" I said
Duke Anders entered the room as the girls stood walking over to me glaring at the guys.
"What did I just walk in to?" Cody asked instinctively walking to the guys' side
"They think girls can't fight to protect the pack" Emily said
Cody sucked his teeth "tsk tsk tsk wrong move dudes"
"You're the best warrior on this side of the globe tell them" James said
"Neither gender is superior than the other at the art of war. The females have maternal instinct, speed, and clever minds while the males are bigger, stronger, and more... ruthless. The perfect army has a mix of both genders and knows when to listen and let one gender take the lead" Cody said
"So that settles it, let the women who want to protect the pack train" I said with a smile
Sebastian sighed and the guys groaned "idiots" Emily murmured as we left the office
