"The sea does not like to be restrained" – Poseidon

Poseidon was slumped over in his throne, listening to the argument between Athena and Aphrodite as they fuss over the importance of intelligence and beauty. Zeus and Hera are on his right side, having the same old centuries long argument as always. While on his left Demeter is yelling across the room at Hades, as Persephone just watches.

All around him, the gods were each bickering. Hermes and Apollo were plotting, with Artemis watching cautiously on the sidelines. On the other hand, Dionysus has tuned out all the background noise in the throne room and continues, playing poker with Chiron. Who nods his head wordlessly along with Dionysus complaining. Hephaestus tinkers with what seemingly looks like a bronze spider, meanwhile Ares is eyeballs Aphrodite with a little smirk, ignorant to the smile directed his way.

Hestia as always, tending to her hearth, frustrated with her families antics.

A slight flash appears in the center of the room, and as it clears a group of Greek campers stumble about. Hestia glances up from where she's tending to her fire and makes eye contact with the only child standing, as he slowly approaches.

"Lady Hestia," greets with a bow.

She nods her head in acknowledgement, "How have you gotten here?" she questions with slight suspicions. She looks over the child's shoulder to see that his friends have manage to pull themselves together. The blonde one snaps her head up at the question.

"Were you not the one to summon us, My Lady?" she questioned.

Hestia glances up at the other gods, to see if they had noticed the weird children, yet made direct eye contact with Poseidon. He nods his head in her direction, and she takes that as her cue to continue her questioning.

She tilts her head slightly, to get a better look at the kids and states, "No my child, we did not," but as she goes to continue, she's interrupted by another flash of light. The same as before, and out stumbles three more children all similar in age to the original group.

The arrival of the second group manages to grab attention of the other gods, who stare at the children with a curious gaze, with the exception of Zeus, who jumps from his throne and grows to full height as he thunders, "Who dares interrupt the Summer Solstice."

"Zeus why have you summoned us here?" replied a green eyed boy exasperated.

"Child, I have done no such thing," Zeus bellowed.

Although, before the green eye boy could reply, he is distracted by a choked whisper of his name. He whips his head in the direction of the voice and exclaims happily, "Annabeth!"

The two then run to each other and embrace, until 'Annabeth' grabs the boy's arms, and judo flips him onto the floor, while two group of teens gather around them.

"May I ask who your are?" Athena questioned the group.

The children's heads snap up in shock. The girl towards the back of the group with dark skin, and  gold eyes that looked like honey, with tight black curly hair mumbled, "Where are we?"

"We're in the throne room of the gods," the boy from earlier whispered over her shoulder, with what appeared to be an Italian accent.

'Annabeth' stepped up to the front of the group and spoke with a strong voice, "What year is it?"

"1977," Apollo answers in a curious tone.

The blonde muttered to herself, "We went back in time." Just then a brick fell from above, and hit the boy with blonde hair and electric blue eyes.

He picked it up and read the note attached to it.

 Dear Gods and Goddess',

This is a message from the fates (shudders all around the room) we have sent eight demi-gods, one human, and a satyr into the past to help change the future. You are required to read 10 books about the greatest and strongest hero to ever live, but before you begin the books you have to guess which half-blood is your child/children. The demi-gods may only say their first names until their godly parent is discovered. The human and satyr may say their full title.

P.S. Summon Hercules

The gods did as told and summoned Hercules. As soon as he got there all the half-bloods glared at him with hatred.

When we were done filling him in, he opened his mouth and bellowed, "I bet that Demi-god probably doesn't have as many achievements as me!"

They glared even harder, some of the gods even shuddered.

"Introduce yourselves." Artemis ordered.

The blonde came forward, "Annabeth Chase."

The dark skin girl was next, "Hazel."

Then the Italian, "Nico."

Which causes Persephone to glare at her husband, as he tries unsuccessfully to avoid her gaze.

The blonde boy came next, "Jason Grace."

A girl with black hair and boots stepped forward, she had a faint glow to her.

"I'm Thalia," she said with a bow towards Artemis, causing said Goddess to look at her with a curious look.

A girl with Cherokee colored skin, brown hair, and Kaleidoscope eyes came forward, and with slight power to her tone said, "Piper Mclean."

Then a girl with frizzy red-brown hair and green eyes. "Rachel Elizabeth Dare, Oracle of Delphi," She said proudly as she bowed towards Apollo.

Said God look on with a hopeful look towards his new Oracle.

A chinese with boy, with brown hair and brown eyes mumbled, "Frank Zhang."

Another boy with similar coloration, but distinctly latin features replied, "Leo Vasquez."

The only satyr had stubbled forward, "Grover Lord of the wild, the first searcher to make it back and chosen one of Pan, part of the quest to retrieve the lightning bolt, and part of the quest to get the Golden fleece to save Thalia tree, survivor of the sea of monsters and the underworld, leader of the Council of cloven elders, and survivor of the labyrinth."

Finally the boy who seemed to be the leader walked forward, head held high and state, "Percy Jackson," as he bowed mockingly.

This continued until Athena finally spoke up.

"Are any of you siblings?"

"Yes Lady Athena, Nico and Hazel are half siblings and Thalia and Jason are full," The boy 'Percy' had explained.

Thalia started laughing, and everyone looked at her with a question in their eyes. All she said was, "Since when is Percy polite to the gods?" The first group of kids started to laugh, while the other two kids seemed to look on in fear.

The gods look at one another and wondered who this boy was to be able to disrespect them and live. Percy was cherry red and muttered, "I can be polite."

"Can we ask some questions?" Hermes questioned.

"Yes, but if a question is to revealing, we can choose not to answer it," Annabeth replied.

"How old are all of you?" questioned Athena.

"Annabeth, Rachel and Percy are 17, while Nico and Thalia are 15, Frank, Hazel, Leo, Piper, and Jason are 16." Grover told them. Since satyrs age different, there was no need to explain his age.

"Can you rule out the gods that don't have kids?" Hephaestus asked.

Annabeth looked around at the other kids who all nodded towards her. "Yes Lord Hephaestus," She did a quick mental check and continued to state, "Dionysus, Hestia, Apollo, Artemis, Demeter, Hera, and Hermes," Annabeth declared.

"The big three broke the oath, and Zeus you cheated on me again!" Hera screamed.

Hercules looked on in distaste, "I have a sibling, or siblings, they can not and will not compare to me." The children look at him with such hatred he shuddered and looked away, head still held high.

Nico glanced over at his dad, just to see Persephone and Demeter yelling at him in anger. He had looked like he was about to say something, but Percy beat him to it. "Hades never broke the oath so don't be mad at him," He looked towards the gods.

Hades looked shocked that a demi-god stood up for him. Athena asked, "Are you a son of Hades?"

Percy just laughed with tears streaming down his face, "No, but a close friend is and Hades is one of the gods that helped us a lot in the future."

The gods glanced at each other in shock. Since when were they allowed to meddle with their kids. They glanced back at the children to see Percy and Annabeth being huddled around. The gods nodded to themselves and Poseidon poke up.

"It is getting late, Hermes can you show them to their rooms?," said the King of the ocean. He looked at the kids with what looked to be a soft smile and watched as they walked away.
