At School
"Chloe, I need some advice. Since you know about guys and all, I was wondering if you could help me out with my crush." Snow, the unsuspecting new girl, nervously asked. Chloe responded, "Of course! I am the expert after all." "Oh! Thank you so much!" Snow exclaimed. "Please meet me at lunch and I'll tell you who I like." Chloe said, "Okay." They each took their seats, as class began.
At Lunch
Chloe decided "I have a very busy schedule so lets make this quick." "Oh. okay, um... well... I like Kim! "Snow declared. "Does he like anyone? And what if he doesn't like me? Or he might already have a girlfriend. Please help me Chloe!" As she listened to Snow plead for her help, Chloe came up with a cruel plot. She discovered a way to set Snow up to fail and humiliate her. "Of course I'll help you! Actually Kim and I are really good friends, and he told me he likes you." Chloe lied. "Really?" Snow exclaimed, she was ecstatic. "Yeah, but you need to confess to him before before his feelings change." Chloe explained. "Oh, okay. Thank you so much Chloe! You're the best." Snow answered. Chloe responded by saying "I know." with a cruel smile as she walked away. Her plan would be put into action after school.
Meanwhile:
"Hi Marrinett, Hi Alya." Adrian greeted. "Hey Adrian." Alya responded as she elbowed Marrinett, telling her to do the same. Marrinett tried to respond but those green eyes of his mesmerized her as their eyes locked. Marrinett felt butterflies swarming around inside her but some how she managed to stumble a greeting, " H-h-h-h-i-i-i-i." Marinett though, " I wish I could talk to him, I wish I could feel confident as both Marrinett and Ladybug."
After school:
"Here we go, lets do this! Chloe said he likes me. So, I just have to make the first move." Snow thought as she walked up to Kim. Kim was hanging out with the rest of the class when she tapped him on the shoulder. "Kim," she asked nervously, "Will you go out with me." As she spoke silence fell over the entire group. Every pair of eyes stared at her, clearly shocked. After several moments Kim finally responded by saying, "No. I'm sorry but I like someone else." He tried to not hurt her, but his efforts obviously didn't work. He saw her face flush and tears stream down her cheeks.She said with a quivering voice, "Oh, okay, that's alright. I have to go."
The Melted Snow
"No one can lie in my presence anymore," Snow began to transform, purple slime coated her body and turned her lovely yellow dress, dark black hair, and gorgeous blue eyes red from anger. Different emotions were laced through the new her, broken purple hearts flowing all across her in an ever changing pattern. "I am Lie Detector and you caused my pain Chloe! You can't break my heart anymore, but I can break yours by using my powers on your Adrikins." Adrian rolled his eyes. He had seen enough and decided to find a place to transform, and considering that everyone was panicking he doubted anyone would notice. The exact same thoughts ran through Marrinett's head as she rushed for the library, while Adrian rushed for the class room. Luckily for them, both rooms were entirely empty. By the time the crime fighting duo met up, reached the gym, and Lie Detector, all of the teachers and most of the students had already escaped. Among the trapped students was Chloe, who was tied down in a chair along with many other students. Lie Detector noticed Chat Noir and Ladybug before they reached her and began firing multicolored truth beams at them through her hands."Don't worry Chloe we"...Ladybug was abruptly cut off."Who are you Lad.. Actually I think I'm going to enjoy this. Ladybug who are you in love with? I'll make sure that they get the treatment they deserve." The super hero's eyes watered and she fell onto her knees as she gasped for air. "Ladybug!!!!" Chat Noir darted over to her as she began loosing consciousness. He panicked as he saw her leg had ben grazed by one of the beams. Lie Detector giggled in a sweet tone,"See Ladybug? That's what happens to people who don't tell the truth." "Ladybug?Ladybug hang in there!" Chat Noir winced at the sight of her in such pain. Everything started spinning and became a blur. "Ladybug just tell her! Otherwise you'll get yourself killed and soon there won't be anyone left to protect those you care for." Lie Detector was enjoying the show so she stopped firing at them and let Ladybug have just enough air to answer. Chat had to do what he was about to but he hated himself for it. He knelt down and whispered so that only Ladybug could hear, "If you don't tell her who you love.. I'm going to give her my miraculous and no one will be left to protect Paris." Ladybug's bottom lip quivered "Adrian," she barely managed to squeak as she gasped for air. Chat's heart stopped, "Adrian who? What's his last name?" "Agreste." Chat froze. Lie Detector replied in a singsongy voice, "Purrfect, thank you for persuading her Kitty.Now we're getting somewhere I"ll stop by his place once I'm done with you two. And now unless you also want to stop breathing, it's you turn Kitty. Chat scowled at her remark and pun but, for once, had a plan. He hadn't been shot yet and by the rules of this "game" Ladybug wouldn't be unable to breathe unless she refused to answer. In that case Chat could only be roped in if he was shot by one of her strange beams. "Lie Detector I will do whatever you want except give you my miraculous but you have to let Ladybug go." Ladybug was appalled at the idea of leaving him alone but understood she wouldn't be any use to anyone while the truth spell was constricting her. A blush clouded her cheeks that thankfully went unnoticed.Lie detector was having way too much fun. "Don't let her get away! I need her miraculous!" Hawk Moth ordered. " Lie Detector cringed, "Hawk Moth your secrets are next if you don't let me do my job my way." Hawk Moth knew he could take away her powers for that, but she had gotten farther than any other akumatized creation so he decided to let the scene play out. "Alright Kitty, I can work with that, but I need just a little more from you..."
