"You think he is murdered?" Asked Chief Kim.

"Yes, I knew he wasn't alive," said Sarah. "Now I am sure he has been murdered."

After finding the identity card, Sarah had searched the area. She found a piece of cloth that had dried blood on it.

"So, he murdered Aron. J. Walker and someone murdered BD?" asked Lieutenant Steve, drawing stick figures on a paper.

"Uhm, actually I don't think BD did it," replied Sarah, looking thoughtful.

"What?" asked Detective Josh, "that's really stupid; it was the same murdering style."

"Can you explain it?" asked Chief Kim, looking doubtful.

"There have been cases before, where two serial killers had the same method" she replied. "I am not entirely sure about this, but it seems like BD didn't do it, but I think he knew who did it."

Silence filled the room; everyone was digesting what they just heard.

Big Dipper was a witness of Aron. J. Walker's murder.

"Basically what you are saying is, X guy murdered Me Walker, and BD knew about this, Said Officer Paul, noting it down.

"So, this X guy murdered BD." Officer Jake completed the sentence.

"It doesn't make sense, I mean it does. It doesn't make sense to make enough sense," Lieutenant Steve ranted. "It's been over a month since BD has disappeared or murdered. There has been no murder since then. It's just; I don't want to believe there is another murderer out there."

"Chief, can I get the recorder?"

Chief Kim went to the locker, took a small black recorder and a CD and handed it to Sarah. "Can you go through the profiles of those who were murdered by BD?"

"I will do it."

"And check if there are any patterns or differences in those cases."

"Okay."

"The report's here." Lieutenant Steve called out.

Everyone gathered around the table.

"So it was really BD," said Officer Jake, holding the report. "The fingerprints, DNA and blood test matches."

"There are no other fingerprints on it," Chief Kim looked thoughtful. "This is scary."

"Whoever it is, they are damn scary," agreed Detective Josh.

"And smart too," replied Officer Paul.

Officer Paul and Officer Jake try to track down the CCTV person," Chief Kim ordered. "Ask in that are if they have seen anyone suspicious."

"Yes, sir," they both saluted and left.

"I will go through the profiles and listen to the recording," said Sarah, taking her handbag.

"Thank you, miss."

She walked to the door.

"Don't do anything dangerous." She nodded and went out.

"You both go meet their friends or relatives, and gather information and evidence," said Chief Kim, scanning the shelf. He took a file, Case No: 374093. "I will go through the files and addresses. Last worked and all those details."

"That has been done before," Lieutenant Steve stated, wearing his coat.

"There is something missing, we have missed a clue somewhere."

"You think Sarah is right?" Detective Josh asked.

"I don't know about that, but I am sure there is more to this case than we are thinking, replied Chief Kim, opening the file. "Get to work boys."

"Do you still live alone?" Detective Josh asked Luna Morgan. She was the roommate of Audrey Petit was a 19-year old college student, an unlucky victim. Found on roadside dead and blue. Hand and legs tied with stockings and mouth taped, she was choked. This happened two months back. The suspect was BD.

Luna nodded; she was a short girl, warm brown eyes and chubby cheeks, easily mistaken for 12-year-old. She had red hairs that reached up to her shoulders.

"Why haven't you caught him yet? The news said that he escaped. How? You call yourselves detectives?"

She sighed deeply.

"I am sorry," she apologised, "I am sad, all the memories I had with her is haunting me."

Lieutenant Steve nodded understandingly.

"Was there anyone she was seeing?" Detective Josh asked. "Maybe a new friend?"

"Or maybe someone she met at the park or at work?" Lieutenant Steve suggested.

She looked thoughtful. "Park? Wait, I remember her mentioning a creepy guy."

Detective Josh and Lieutenant Steve looked at each other. "You didn't say anything about this back then. What happened?" Detective Josh looked at her, eagerly waiting for her for to continue.

"It was nearly one month back. It was actually nothing. She said while working she saw a suspicious looking hooded person outside the store. After work when she went out, he was still there. She felt like he was following her, but when she turned around no one was there," she explained. "I didn't take her seriously because we were watching action movies and criminal stuff and all that weekend."

Lieutenant Steve nodded absentmindedly. "Did she ever talk about this person afterwards?"

"No."

"How did she know that this person was a he?" Lieutenant Steve questioned her.

"Even I asked her the same question," she replied looking down.

"What did she say?" Detective Josh looked at her expectantly.

"She simply said that he didn't look like he had boobs," she bit her lips, holding back a laugh seeing the awkward look on their faces.

"Oh"

"Oh"

"Is there anything else that would be helpful?" Detective Josh asked, scratching his jaw, awkwardly.

"Why was she out that late?" Lieutenant Steve asked.

"She had to return a library book."

"At that time?"

"She forgot to return it before going for work and the librarian had been complaining about her a lot because she doesn't return books on time. So, I was the one asked her to return it that day. It's my fault." She wiped her tears.

"It wasn't, don't worry. We will do our best." Detective Josh assured her.

Who were they? What were they doing there? Were they searching for something? Do they know about what happened? Do they know anything about that night?

He loved nights. The darkness of night always soothed him, except that night-

Beep

He knew who the sender was; he had been receiving messages from an unknown number, since that inauspicious night.

He opened the message.

'Had fun going there?'

He sighed.

He ignored the text. He had been followed for the last one month.
