After matapos ang wedding event, bumalik na ang mga guests sa kanilang mga suites. Nagbihis lang kami ni Sage ng casual na damit at derecho na agad kami sa suite ni Quinn.
"Do you have the medallions with you?" tanong ni Quinn sa amin. He seemed uneasy as if something is bothering him.
"Nasa secret room ni Uncle Syl ang mga medallions. I casted a concealment spell para hindi sila matagpuan. How about the yellow one?"
"It is still safe in the headquarters," sabi ni Quinn and he asked as to sit on the sofa beds.
"Why are we here Joaquin? May problema ba?"
"Isagani, there's something wrong with me. I have better sense of hearing, my cells can regenerate faster and I can run as fast as a cheetah. It is as if my vampiric powers are back but I don't crave for blood."
"And that is the life and death situation that you are talking about?" inis na tanong ni Sage.
Siguro kasi naiinis siya dahil istorbo si Quinn sa honeymoon namin. Di ko alam kung matutuwa or maiinis din ako kay Quinn.
"Reichel stopped my dreams about Rave, but I can see visions, Isagani. Fucking scary visions. Tell me Reichel, bumalik na ba ang kapangyarihan ni Silawin sa kanya?"
"Di ko alam Quinn. Hindi ko naman nakakausap pa si Uncle Syl kasi naging busy din ako sa kasal."
"What visions are you talking about?" galit na sabi ni Sage.
Kung bakit siya nagagalit, hindi ko din alam.
"There should be one Lakan at a time, pero feeling ko, nasa akin din ang kapangyarihan ng Lakan sa mga oras na to. If Silawin's power is back, tatlo tayong Lakan ang nabubuhay and it only means that a bigger threat will resurface soon."
"Joaquin, what visions are you referring to?"
"Visions about you Isagani," takot na sabi ni Quinn.
He is always easy going, carefree and always smiling, but the Quinn in front of us wear his most serious face.
"Quinn, anong klaseng vision ang nakita mo about kay Sage?" nag-aalala kong tanong dahil naka clench na ang fist ni Sage as if hindi siya natutuwa sa mga sinasabi ni Quinn.
"Your death, Isagani. I saw your death in Lilith's hands. Hindi ko alam kung paano nangyari but she is alive in my visions and you are dead in her arms."
I looked at Sage and he does not show any emotions. It is as if he knew exactly what Quinn is talking about.
"Quinn, nangyari na din ito kay Lena before. We had a vision about her and we stopped it from happening. Di ba Sage? Napigilan natin noon si Lena na patayin ang mga classmates natin?"
"Reichel, I have been seeing the same fucking vision numerous times. Yes, I hope you are right. I hope we can change the outcome."
"I am sure we will find a way to stop this from happening. Safe ang mga medallions. Lilith is still imprisoned. Di ba Sage?"
"Of course..." walang emosyon na sabi ni Sage na nakatitig pa din kay Quinn.
"Sage... you have seen the same vision. Tama ba ako?"
Pero hindi kumibo si Sage. He just looked at me with those penetrating eyes as if wala siyang balak mag-explain any further.
"Tama ba? Nakita mo din kung ano ang nakita ni Quinn?"
"Rei..."
"Is that the reason kung bakit biglaan tayo nagpakasal?"
"Rei, calm down."
"You did not even bother to tell me about this? And you expect me to calm down?" naiinis kong tanong sa kanya. Kaya pala biglaan ang lahat, he saw a vision about his death.
"Rei, please. Let me explain..."
Pero hindi ko na pinatapos si Sage na magsalita at iniwan ko na siya sa suite ni Quinn. Isang importanteng vision about him at hindi man lang niya nasabi sa akin.
