The moon shone pearl white,
In the inky blue sky,
The owl hooted all night,
In his home so high.
The alpha walked on the ghostly track,
Towards his royal rock,
His subjects would bow low to him,
During his morning walk.
But now some supernatural force,
Pulled him away from his bed,
Sleep vaporised from his eyes,
In the stillness of the woods so red.
Up on his rock stood a grey soul,
Looking at the sky so bright,
It now changing from black to red,
From her eyes it radiating light.
She sensed his presence and looked at him,
Her eyes widening with fear,
She backed away deeper into the woods,
As he approached her near.
Her grey coat shone bright,
As she stealthily moved towards his pack,
Her eyes bored deep into his silver ones,
As his intense gaze stared back.
She saw something in his eyes,
"Was it love", she thought,
But everything was answered in a seconds time,
When his fangs pierced while she fought.
